An alternative way is to install 3rd party keyboard. I am using a.i keyboard that have the number like note 2 and s4.

My phone's rom is Asia Pacific [DXLP6 4.0.3],couldn't use

You could get the dump and pull the apk from (if it's in that format) and copy it across to your phone and try it.

You would have to wait for someone to port it then...or try it yourself. Try decompiling both your current keyboard and this one and diff them maybe.

Me too. I had actually thought that the samsung keyboard was what came with android when I tried it in the shop but bought a nexus 10 thinking it's a better tab (well technically it is). Alternatively is there a keyboard that does handwriting as well as the samsung keyboard?

I had the galaxy note 10.1 at first but herd the nexus 10 was better. I miss the keyboard so I search all over looking for a apk file of the keyboard but came up empty. I know somebody can figure out this. Just need more people to help.
PS. I don't know a keyboard that's good with handwriting

I don't know if it's quite what you're looking for, but have you tried the ”PC Keyboard” layout in Android keyboard settings? It has slightly smaller keys than the normal keyboard layout, but maps a US style PC keyboard almost exactly including shift, tab and a full number row always on top...

the galaxy note 10.1 keyboard is something in the Touchwizz Framework there should be a release of 4.2.1/4.2.2 for GNote 10.1.
if they release it i will try to port the whole rom ( so full note 10.1 mode like multiwindow and stuff ) or port the keyboard if i find how to port one app ........

Do you have any clue if ink effect from Galaxy note II can be ported to the Nexus 10? As it's been ported to Galaxy S III (but I guess that's also something with the touchwiz?)

Hi guys,
looking for someone to help me with this request. I am a Galaxy Note 8.0 user and I need the following apk
OSN Play
I can't post the direct link but if you search google play through your computer you will find it.
This is a free application compatible only with the 10.1 and I couldn't manage to download it.
I tried all the spoofing method and Market helper and nothing worked.
It will be easier if a 10.1 user can download it to his device and provide me with the APK for the last version 1.1 :good:

I just don't get how people can see GALAXY TAB 10.1 into GALAXY NOTE 10.1. Check properly what forum you are in please.

I don't think that's possible as the settings app found on the s5 requires kitkat which the note 2 currently doesn't have......

Do you think when there is a kitkat rom like when DN3 Kitkat is release, is it possible to have this on our note 2?

Maybe someone can just do the theming and make the current icons (that are alongside the text) just look like s5, rather than making the whole grid like settings app.
