Hi,I'm on stock rom. Never rooted yet. But yesterday, my phone automatically switch off but I don't know when. When I know, my phone can't startup.. It's not stuck at Sony Ericsson logo.. It show the logo then switch off. I also can't charge my phone.. Anyone help me please?I had search Google but I can't find the solution yet..

My problem is my phone don't turn on after connecting to pc.. I press power button, no help, long press back key and plug, no help, even led is showing nothing

Please charge your phone through wall charger...not with a pc...you got an empty battery.Let it charge for a while.Then you can flash with flashtool
I plug my phone to wall charger.. But as I told in the first post, sony Ericsson logo appear, then switch off.. It don't charge my phone

Maybe you can try directly flash with flashtool or SUS...you need at least 40-50% battery.This proedure need you to turn off your phone.
Maybe your battery need replacement?
The cause of your problem is vary...
use new charged battery and flash stock
or

Okay i suffered from a similar situation. what happened was i was installing a custom rom and in the process of installing this in xrecovery my battery fell out the back of my phone in the middle of the instalation process.
i switched my phone on and it was reboting the sony ericsson logo and i wasent able to get into xrecovery so i had to put my phone in flash mode by plugging my phone to the pc/hold the back button/switch the phone on while holding the back button and i was in flash mode.
From there i flashed the 2.1 generic software and my phone started up.
From there i had to upgrade to 2.3.3, root my phone instal xrecovery, flash custom rom and now im back to normal. Msg me for more help. Thanks button hehe

Seems like you have a flat battery. Charge that first then go into flash mode.

Had the same problem yesterday (sold it on eBay and the customer bricked the phone and at the end it didn't boot and he claimed that I sold him a bricked phone, so I took it back) and the phone is NOT dead.
Plug it in to the charger for a few hours (3-4). Then connect it to your PC in flashmode and reflash the firmware.
My X10 is up and running again and I'm searching a new customer

Yes.but after charge (turn on -> green led -> vibrate -> blackscreen) ,(connect computer -> blackscreen) & (connect computer without batrery -> plug batre .led green,detect to computer & driver searching in computer,connect to flashtool but i cannot reconnect to computer with hold back button.x10 no detect computer.????

Hello, can you please help me! I bricked my xperia neo, while trying to update se tweaked rom v 8.5. Now i'm facing the "sony ericsson" screen, totaly blocked. I've tried many times to flash it, whith wotan client, flash tool, but it's imposible to enter flash mode again, no green led, only bocked se screen, please help!!! how did you manage o get into flash mode?

there are 2 things you can try:
1. plug in the charger and see if it boots, if it does, let it charge to full
2. get the phone into flashmode by holding down the volume down button and connecting the phone to the PC, a green LED should light up when correctly connected. then flash a new firmware via Flashtool, you can get the newest 6.1.A.2.45 in the forums + Flashtool.

Guys,
A friend of mine tried installing a custom ROM on his SE Xperia Neo V
MT11i.
Something went wrong.Pressing the power button the led light blinks red.
PCCompanion does not recognize the device.
Any ideas.What can be done to get it working again.

Also is your bootloader unlocked?
Boot loader unlocked.Rooted.
Installed 2 custom ROMs,modules on sdcard.Flashed kernel.Installed cust.rom,flashed modules.Reboot.Stuck on boot animation.Then flashed the second cust.rom.Phone started blinking red led light.
Tried pccompanion and seus.
Not recognized device.
Even flashed stock firmware but after the process when try to power on light starts blinking red again.

Can your phone enter flashmode or fastboot mode?
Which ROMs exactly did you try installing?
Blinking Red,seem battery low.try recharge with wall charger.
False alarm.
It looks like flashing back to stock did work.
And the bloody phone was actually very very low on battery.
What can I say,but thank you to both.
Now to get some shuteye.

Those who tried to flash xperia u through wrong kernel...it got bricked every time...happened to me also..battery doesn't charge for the wrong kernel so it doesn't boot up....nothing works. ..no fast boot or flash mode
so the fix was...
1.pull out battery
2.charge through auto charger....about 30 minits
3.Put it on...
4.it will vibrate
5.now flash it by going flashmode

Hard Bricked my Xperia U
Hi
I bricked my phone couple of days back
I tried charging using a universal battery charger for couple of hours;
Then tried your steps; but it is not entering the flashmode
I had flashed kernel with CWM and recovery mode was not working I was testing some of the kernels and it got bricked
When I connect the normal wall charger; it shows me steady Red LED for some time and then it goes off
It is not booting or even vibrating
Please suggest
It there a way to give extra power somehow and boot it ?

The same happened to me few days ago!
Just keep it charging for 30 mins or so.. the kernel will boot up and them u can further charge it..Worked for me

Remove the battery and leave the phone for about an hour and hold the power button with the battery removed for about 60seconds an leave the phone again for an hour try to enter flash mode....

GUYS i restored my ta with 4.1 unofficial and pressed reboot instead of power off and my device is so dead
I have the same problem as motu_aj.
Nothing will do. Anyone would have found something since then ?
I was just messaging people on fb ...and sudddenly my phone's screen went black then i thought it was just a temporary issue...as it was almst deaad
then i removed the battery and for an hour or so then ire-inserted the battery and tried to turn on by pressing the power button nothing happened
so i decide to re-flash the rom...i removed the battery and pressed the down volume button and reinserted the battery opened up the flash tool connected the phone via usb in flash mode thank god it got connected in flash mode and i flashed stock GB
now everything went fine after the flashing got over i tried to start the phone
i pressed the power button result:NOTHING
i then flashed a custom kernel and then pressed reboot the phone got connected in flash mode so i tried to flash the stock
to my suprise the device got force booteed :highfive:
now i tested the phone in each and every aspect known to me everything works fine....even the power button is ok!!1
but i switched off the phone to insert the memory card and tried to Power it UP Nothing happens what could be the problem??
i mean the Phone is ok as it gets connected in Flash mode as well as Fast-boot Mode
the power button is ok!!!as i tested it when the phone Booted up! :laugh:

You most likely have issue with your screen. When you power it up duz it vibrate?
If I be at your place I stud Flash stock and take it back where I got it from.most likely it's a HW issue

I did my friend when I take out the battery and insert the charger the phone boots up!!! and after that when I insert the battery.... everything works fine
And I tried to reboot again nothing is working

Could it simply be a battery problem? Try changing battery (use a battery from a friend's xperia ray to try). Maybe that's the problem
What ROM/kernel were you using, when you were "messaging on FB"? Any overclocking?

Yo thanks man!!!nd thank u everyone for ur time ....it was just some water ... but it was nowhere near water ,,, everything was back to normal ...when i opened it up and wiped the circuit gently!!!!
