If you now have stoc .79 + root + cwm jump to point 3, if not :
1. Install stock rom .79 by flashtool( or any other frimware)
2. Install root and clockworkmod
3. IMPORTANT...FROM ADVANCED , DO MOUNT SYSTEM AND FORMAT SYSTEM IMPORTANT
Make Full Wipe (Data/Cache/Dalvik)
4. Install Rom (and ur device patch )
5. Exit clockworkmod

1.DOWNLOAD ROM IT IN UR SD MEMORY CARD
2.BOOT TO RECOVERY
3. IMPORTANT: DO A FULL WIPE BEFORE INSTALLATION

I downloaded and am installing now, i also took a look at the scripts and stuff in init.d and build.prop and i looked at some lib files, looks very clean and i love the init.d Re permission fix thing, very usefull!, also i looked at the original thread and i saw small apps or soming, , Expecting High Stuffs from this rom, its beautiful!, gives me the feeling of Atomic GB honestly, (which is good)
i would thank u if i had any left, but i will do it tommrowoz...

wow installed ran thru everythin, 2 words : Slick and Beautiful!, but i have 1 downside, :/, Some bloat... xD, theirs the xperia Hot shots and stuffs, but its removeable but their r some other apps in system/app so we dont have privelages to remove unless u know how to use root explorer, lol, but u get what i mean, their r some simple users, also i understand this is a port and u dident intend these apps, but its great overall, nothing wrong, 0 Bugs,
oh also Daily Driver! also nice sound and games r perfect!

Those apps are probably installed by system services, such as CustomizedApplicationInstaller.apk, ApplicationsProvider.apk
Don't remember if there are other ones though

about the apps, check somewhere in etc/product/applications, also the sound output is excessively higher!, but theirs not much audio quaility loss!,

hmm... i dont think build.prop tweaks can increse sound, but ill have a look,

i fixed the only bug that was on this rom till now
there was a problem with volume
it was 14 steps instead of 15 setps

PS: The lowest Antutu score I got was 7000 range and that too after installing all my usual apps and all Out of 5 tests, 3 were 7100+ and highest was 7263 ( Didnt take screens sorry).. On same device with Stock 1.54, I was getting 6900s at maximum with nothing installed
In summary,I've removed pretty much everything but the bare essentials, added a little customization like removing the Data Notification.etc Anyway let me know what you guys think. My Xperia U is currently in repair ( touchscreen issue ) so I didnt get a chance to check the final release but I'm sure it should work fine.. Anyway, let me know Guys

Actually it was a mistake on my part in zipping files I'm uploading the new version right now.. Slow net speed + the fact that it took me forever to get a friend's phone to test it ( my phone was in repair ) caused the delay Sorrry for anyone who hhad inconvenience cause of this ! A few more mins guys
What about the audio stutter / crackling issue ? Add to that the low volume

The low volume was a stupid thing on my part As GekTheBoss stated like a Boss, permission issues caused the root to not work & AC!D Audio Engine couldnt run because of that.. Hence the low volume...
Stuttering and all, I havent noticed till now Not on my rom or any other for that matter, Might be h/w bug with your mate unless I am going sound-deaf
And btw, Sorry abt the original zip which was scrwed up Ill upload a small fix file for it later

How is the audio on you device ? Clear ? Do you hear any crackling sounds in between in some songs ?
Lastly what version of Ac!d have u integrated in the ROM ? I have tried V5 and it messes with the phone apk resultant the Contacts FC's.
Listened to a song in full and well, no issues for me.. Crackling might be due to xloud not working properly on stock. I added Team AC!D's Audio Engine and it works fine for me Stuttering, it could be that your processor is overloaded with workload or maybe, the Governor is underclocking it too much at times if you're Bootloader unlocked with Custom Kernel.. Hardware issue also possible. Cant rule that out
Is there unlocked BL version coming ?
Actually, I think you could just do the same instructions as Locked and it would work.. Can you try and confirm ? Sorry Its my first time with a Locked Bootloader device

This rom was built to satisfy the need for a stock-based rom with all its bloatware removed and a much faster UI for daily use. To bring such a rom to all the Xperia 2012 phones, This was the aim of the Xperiance Lite Project. After the extremely succesful launch of v1 of Xperiance Lite for the U, the next version had to be something so great it convinced existing users to shift to the new rom And Delivered we have The Number of Changes in the ROM combined with the fact that the original Dev has turned to 3 jusitifed getting a new thread.
And since many people asked for it, this rom is now a complete package which can be installed over any other ROM (Stock or Custom based on stock.) If you run an AOKP or CM9 rom, please wait as I am preparing a file to set up the Sony Services and without it, you might get random errors. If you are running CM9 or AOKP, please flash Stock Sony FTF or any Sony-based Custom ROM first before installing
Boot into CWM (Locked Bootloader can check out CWM Touch by Atis1212)
Install via CWM.

If you flashed a custom kernel and now lost root, Don't forget. Just retrun the zip file from CWM and select "Root Fix".

Hotfixes
Hints for Better Performance
Go to Settings>Development Options and Change Animation and Transition Speed to 0.5x
Open NoFrills CPU Control and change Governor to Lulzactiveq and Scheduler to SIO. Tick the 'Set On Boot' Option.
Bugfixes
In case you cant open the 3rd setting of Toggles, copy QuickPanelSettings.apk from data/custom/systemui/3 to system/app and set permissions 644.
Then reboot and unselect all the toggles from QuickPanelSettings. Afterwards, Remove with Root Explorer
Installing S3 Rosemary font sometimes causes bootloop. Not sure why.. Im looking into it.
In case your LED lights don't work, try installing without the Governors
If you find any bug, please reply here or PM us with your f/w, which mods you used.etc

And that kinda error isnt likely to happen I tried out all the settings myself ( Slept at in the 5 in the morning after tests started at 2 lol ) and It worked fine for me I think you had an issue somewhere along the way
AROMA isnt fully working with our device. Latest version wont work at all. This one, I got working but the touchscreen hangs sometimes if you use multiple fingers at same time.. So I think aroma might have messed up somewhere But I only an error 1 of 30+ tries so I didnt think its a major issue

U can flash it over Spawk ROM .. :good: Incase u need a clean fresh device then flash it with c.1.0 firmware and then flash any custom Rooted kernel image with cwm in fastboot mode.. And install the zip..

Yup You can flash it But will have to reinstall the addon packs (music player , cybershot etc )
Requesting you to share the following MODS so that users can download and apply it on their own phones (I'm using Xperia Sola btw).
1. Charging Animation V2 (.png files)
2. Lockscreen ICS (UpNxtLockscreen.apk)
3. Incoming Call Mod (the sliding animation has been replaced from stock, it's fresh and new)

Format System (you'll find this in Mounts and Storage Menu)

Reboot
To use MPEngine9 from Project FLUID (ULTRA RECOMMENDED) for Battery Saving & perfomance follow the video at Screenshot section.
LED works at 25% compared to GB (better led than stock ics)
ROM may magically come with CWM recovery

really, i will ask you to post that on Q&A.. i dont have that problem in mi rom, and also mi brother tested it and its fine too
i know exaclty most bugs of the rom.. i uploaded this rom 2 days ago in a forum and they told me the bugs.

no fukin idea :silly: but dont worry.. i dont take things from roms.. it's maybe a Mod or something.. dont remember exactly, i started taking notes of the things i added and where i find them at v3...

Post any bug you find, if they are much of them.. first i will update a v3.2 of Walkman Style with all of them fixed.. it wont be much problem , i just need to remove some libs and also some at init.d

i'll add back to kill at v4, dont really know if i will add cpu control, and why camera quality is bad? check that it is at 5 MP, if not move it to 5 MP..

pls. this option instaal on your rom
1-wake to press volume key
2-wave type on answer call.
3-icon to kill app on recent app like miui.
4-rom control.
5-the process of free ram on emelutor is deficult if this process is easy it's better like on like on icon and then all progress is done
tanksfor hard working.

mm i will add some of this.. the problem is that i'm having bootloops installing MODS.. so after v4, i will start a new project with less scripts & Mods (doesnt mean it will be worse or less perfomance)
so at v4, i will finish the project with More Visual, AOSP, you will feel the difference.

Most of features are written below, so start reading this big thread! Hope you still want do that, and use my ROM :fingers-crossed:.
Based on JB 4.1.2, with Sony Xperia apps and framework.
Create Yourself ™ - my own idea. You've seen this in all DiXperias - it's something like "you choose stuff and version you like, and if you need something, you just apply this like extra file. No need to delete tons of apps you don't using and won't" - it's simple, fast, and has potential .
DX Engine ™ - Kernel for DiXperia projects!
Playstation Certificate.
Walkman player.
Changing music via volume buttons, and music in lockscreen.
Facebook.
Xperia swype keyboard.
Scripts, tricks, tweaks - they promise lot of fun, lot of performance and lot of stability ^^.
I think it's enough but you know it's not everything - I'm sure I missed a lot of features, but it's up to you to test it yourself if you really want to using this ROM.
Just come and get it in second post .
Of course Root + Busybox.
Unlocked Bootloader.
Required Kernel (of course could be any for JB ROMs).
CWM Recovery.
Download ROM (+ optional addons) and put it on your SD Card.
Go to CWM Recovery and make Full Wipe and Wipe Cache, then clean your Dalvik, fix Battery and Fix Permissions. (if needed, make /system format too)
Choose .zip to flash and select my ROM. Wait...
Done! Reboot and feel free to use this!

Don't want make mess here, so just go and read Suggestions, cause there are some nice advices to get DXE working like it should (we need change some settings after flashing and booting ROM ).

- Don't use any backup! (it doesn't mean you must delete yours, but be sure that it can create some problems. If you replace backup and everything is cool - that's cool! )
- After flash my system give it 1 day for better stability and the second one for applicate all scripts/tweaks/tricks.
- Flash every addon separately.
- Simple, but no one understand it. If you want to have better battery life just decrase brightness.
- In my opinion, smartassV2 or interactiveX (choose yourself), and frequency of CPU 364-1306MHz gives awesome stability and performance (up to 1613MHz is still good enough with battery, at least should) .

Touchpads are working, but it seems like touching them starts a lot of events (that's what Cosmic Dan and farenheith said, when they analized it) and so lag.
But still, in newer CM10 releases, touchpads lag is reduced, so they can be used without problems in games like Dead Trigger, perhaps MC4 and others.
P.S.: if you want I can patch the framework.jar for you, as I opened a whole thread for touchpads fix on newer roms

For now yes, till me and extremetempz will work on DXEngine, but before we start I need to end all ROM projects first, so DX Rare for Xperia J, DX Plentiful for Tracer OVO 2.0, and Kernel for Xperia X10 - then will contact extremetempz for Play Kernel . For now, use Lupus.

Justin 'extremetempz' is offline for a long time and I can't contact him....Also, I decided I will work with him on Kernels for Play after I relase all my last projects for all devices, so I wanted to contact him after 2 days but still...He's not here. No news for now, I know he has some problems with his laptop and he said he might be offline but I didn't know he won't be available even on mobile ;/. Sorry buddy.

First i flashed the ROM then "Social Timescape + Facebook" and "Torch + DSP Manager" . Any Advice?

About Sound Enh. - will fix that in update ^^.
Just a few hours try this ROM and feel comfort for my next daily use....
I used Lupus V10....
Delete Album and used Quick Pic (picture) or MX Player (for video) this is my other option cause this ROM got known bug (Album FC)....
One more,i used Zeam Launcher cause it is simple for me....
Not yet try for gaming...
Multitasking,dont ask me just try ut urself (so far so smooth)...

Thanks for fast review friend, but read Bugs and find out, that Album FC is fixed via installing it manually from ROM zip itself, I dunno what causing this in compiling, but yeah, it's working fully after making this "fix" .
