Xperia u digitizer unresponsive - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi,
My idiot friend dropped her phone, and after replacing the screen the first time it worked fine until she dropped it again and now the digitizer is unresponsive,
I have tried taking it apart and cleaning the connections, I am able to get into the camera app using the dedicated button, but only the on screen back button works the home or menu doesn't work, which make me Think that replacing the digitizer may fix the problem

[Q] digitizer repair question (help)

My buddy busted his screen but the phone still worked fine, a few weeks later he dropped it and the screen went completely dead. He ordered a new screen and digitizer and put it back together, the phone turns on and appears to be fine but the screen is super sensitive (acts weird at times) and the touch buttons do not respond at all. Clicking apps and such work fine but the 4 buttons do nothing. Any ideas?

note 2 Back button is "stuck"

I decided to move this thread here in hope of more experts seeing this.
I broke my screen and digitizer of my note 2, and I replaced it with a new one. Upon booting up I noticed that the phone keeps vibrating as if I was pressing one of the buttons, and when I tried to open apps they immediately stopped and returned to the home screen.
I then charged my phone fully and the problem disappeared until just now when the same problem came back.
Is there any touchscreen expert here that would know what could be the possible cause? And secondly, is there a way to disable the right button all together in android?
Edit: if I keep my finger on the touchscreen and use the spen, it doesn't bug at all.

Weird Screen issue

Hi
Can someone please give me some advice on a problem I have with my S3
It has recently had a new screen fitted and now I find I cannot long press anything on my home screens instead it thinks I am pressing it and just opens it. Although I can occasionally drag something to the bin to remove it.
Does this mean I have other hardware fault or the replacement screen has been improperly fitted.
It does also freeze up until I press power button off then back on swipe to unlock then its back to normal
Factory reset to no avail, considering flashing ROM but I suspect this is hardware related.
Any help would be much appreciated
Cheers
Lee

Same problem with my nexus 7, had the screen replaced, and it thought I was opening apps instead of swiping through the home pages, most likey a badly fitted screen, get them to double check its fitted correctly.

Ensure glove touch is disabled.
Even I am having this issue... Seems like Glove mode automatically turns on by itself even though it has been disabled.
So far no solution.
Yea it's like the keyboard swipes it self. Same for the screen. Even factory reset, but it happens again once in awhile.
Hello everyone. I bought via ebay display for Sony Xperia z2 but when I connected it turned out to not work properly. He started his own to run applications, as well as to work on it with 30 fingers. I guess that's called Ghost effect. What can be the problem? In short operating normally, and then go crazy.
I'm not completely reassembled the phone after changing the display because waiting waterproof tape for display.
. Does it have something to do with my problem?

I took it in to Sony and they repaired it for me. They told me that there was water underneath so they replaced the damaged parts for me. But the ghost touch issues still happens once in a while...
