[Q] BRICKED after unlocking bootloader - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

So i finally unlocked my bootloader on my p769. After i unlocked it i went to recovery and restored my backup to a 20F T-mobile P769 rom (yes i know this was stupid, I should have installed recovery via fastboot while I had it open). My touch screen is borked and I have no recovery set up.
Things I've tried:
To turn on USB debugging, the backup i restored does not have a homescreen so I cannot access the settings to turn it on.
The KDZ offline flash method, but it always stops at 15% even though i've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers countless times.
"Upgrade recovery" via the LG software tool. It gets to the part where it downloads the file and even after 2 hours it doesn't download. My hosts file did not have LGs IP when i tried this.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there a button combination to force my phone to go to fastboot mode? Or can i got from s/w upgrade mode to fastboot mode? This is really frustrating.

Alright so i managed to turn USB debugging on, but i have no root or recovery. Is there anything I can do from here?
EDIT: managed to get root and installed busybox the correct busybox. i can't seem to get the recovery to install though (im using the l9 recovery installer APK. It says the recovery is installed but it won't reboot into recovery and the LEDs dont flash when i power on the phone). My phones touchscreen is still borked.

That LG software tool never worked for me and I never used it. Find a kdz uploaded and keep the phone on. No sw mode. I've been reading a lot of stuff on here about u boot and adb. . .never did any of that with other phones but I haven't bricked this one either to test any methods. I'm rambling. . .let need know what happens.

Even if your bootloader is unlocked you still have to install a ROM that is made for your phone. Just go to backup/restore then restore from sd and pick your backup. Good luck!

And fast.
All worth it huh
Plus you can pretty must leave the kdz flashing alone now, and you don't have to rely on a second init recovery.
Hey I advice you to check out twrp and to fix the inverted lg logo.

It definitely was worth it, so glad i don't have to deal with LGs crappy flashing software anymore.
I flashed twrp but my boot logo is still inverted. Oh well, at least I got a better recovery

What method did you use to root your phone, unlock boot loader and flash recovery? Last time I tried a method my phone was soft bricked with "security error".

P769 won't boot into CWM! HELP!

I tired unlocking the bootloader, and after 7 hours, decided to give up. So I flashed/rooted v20d and installed CWM through the app. The app said it was successfully installed. I clicked reboot to recovery, and it rebooted normally. No recovery. Then I rebooted it myself, and the leds don't blink on the front to enter cwm...All I want to do is get into cwm, flash the .zip to fix the touch screen, and call it a day. Please help me..
I have cwm backups I took this morning of my old set up, but that was on v20f. My plan originally was to root 20d, flash the zip, get the ota update to 20d, and restore in cwm. Please help...
UPDATE: Managed to hard reset and get into recovery...

So your phone bootloader is locked? You need to unlock it before flash custom rom.

Fyi: your boot.img is bad that's why it won't boot. Change the image and reflash when you get upper phone up and running.

You will have to get your own. The best way I know is from my guide:

Oh sorry about that, I thought you needed your original ROM. Why don't you just take out the updater script and delete the asset files then repackage. But be careful, you could have some problems. Just do your homework and backup, backup, and backup! Good luck!

[Q] My S4 is missing recovery!!!

Okay I hope someone can help me! This is what happened, I had a rooted MDK version and wanted to upgrade to ME7 since there was a root for it so i upgraded then re-rooted now running ME7 rooted. But i tried to install a custom recovery (forgot that ME7 bootloader isnt unlocked -_-) so now i basicly DELETED my recovery. My phone turns on fine but for example if i hold POWER and UP it boots to download mode and on top is says "failed to boot" So basicly can somone please explain to me how to install the original recovery WITHOUT losing any of my phone data? THANKS!
You should have done some reading first, but you've now found out you can't flash a recovery when on mf3. Join the many others. It probably boots into download mode. When it does can you cancel that with vol down?
Edit, as far as getting the recovery back, you can't afaik

No nothing works when in that mode, I have to take the battery out and back in and turn it on normal and it boots up fine just the recovery mode doesn't work. This isn't a crazy concern just annoying so your saying there is NO fix? I just have to wait until the find a way to unlock the bootloader then install a custom recovery?

Need to reset my phone, preferably not by kdz

I'm having some issues with my phone, just been spiraling downward really. I want to go back to stock at least to start clean from. All I have is cwm installed and am rooted. Will and factory reset(the test menu one) do this? Or what steps do I need to take. All help is greatly appreciated, Man I hate this phone. =(

a factory reset will probably not work if you made some root changes & etc.
If you have artas182x cwm operating, just install my cwm backup

extract the zip into your micro sdcard.
Don't worry the MetroPCS version (LGMS769) works fine on the T-Mobile version (LGP769)
Plus I tweaked the build.prop so move 2 sd works for some downloaded apps.

easiest TWRP installing method

download the right img file for your model and simply flash it through Flashify (if you're rooted)
tread with img files:

I used this method also.
This is a very easy installation method.
Flashify also has a REBOOT TO RECOVERY selection which makes it easy to reboot to TWRP.
I have been unable to find a way to directly boot to Recovery (TWRP) from the OFF condition.
What about flashing 2.6.3.3?
I found a zip but it will not flash.
I like this idea. One thing, can you wright down step by step tutorial about this?I think that would be great for ppl who are new to this. Also i have one question. In flashify i have"boot image, recovery image and Zip file" can i flash twrp zip file or i need to go with recovery image?Because of my maybe stupid question, it would be great to have simple tutorial.

Guys, there's already a thread devoted to installing this and they offer multiple ways to do so here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449670. If you need a step by step guide, a wonderful member already posted a video on YouTube which can be found in that thread. See here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZSjL6FCyxA&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Please stop posting useless, duplicate threads because this forum already has more than enough of those.
Ohh, and Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the states, and happy Thursday to the rest of you.

•Hold Power and Vol- until see the LG logo
•After you see the logo release buttons for 1 second
•Press and hold Power and Vol- again until you see the factory reset screen, just push power to confirm reset, it will prompt you twice, just continue and this will boot you into recovery.
