Was a bit gutted that my phone didn't come with NFC so was wondering if there is any way to retro fit it once more places are using NFC? I saw there was maybe sd cards coming out that gave NFC capabilities.

Having just watched that video, it would seem that 'quicktap' works on a similar.premise to 'bump'? As in, by tapping the phone onto another device, a connection is made?

That's essentially what NFC does. It creates a connection when it comes into close proximity to another compatible device or 'tag'
I called at&t to get unlock code and they said there isn't one for that phone. Is that true? I need the unlock code so I can use the phone as mp3 player. My current service provider is sprint. I don't know anyone with GSM provider. I can't use the phone unless sim card is inserted. So what should I do?

I use the sim card that came with it to use in my phone watch, just says invalid sim on wallpaper, but it still works

There anyone has a weather-time problem from the 4 * 2 widgets SG3? It has a different time that the one from the network-provided time zone?. In my case there are 4 and a half hours gap. For example: Network has 6.25 pm but the weather app is 10.55 pm. Does anyone has have this problem?

Happens to me but it fixes itself! Idk why or how but its an hour ahead then back to normal. I'm on the US AT&T version

for some reason it's not always very good at updating your current location.

Hi all, I am at my wits end with this.
I have an unlocked, rooted Galaxy Mega i527. Everything works fine . I have 4G LTE data on both Tmobile and AT&T sim but i cannot make or receive calls via the native phone dialer.
The only way i use the phone now is with a 3rd party voip/google voice app. Calling via google voice directly without the 3rd party app does not work.
I do not know what is wrong and i will really appreciate any help that you guys can render.

UPDATE:
I can now make and receive calls by forcing the phone to 2G ONLY.
I am still waiting for anyone who can help me to get the phone calling out and receiving calls over 4G LTE. ...

Hey go here ask for viper32 he is a guru as well as many others . But I have only worked with viper . He has fixed many of my phones as well as flash to other carriers. Great group of people there really . Just ask someone will help if viper32 doesnt see your post .

Hey guys I just bought an evo LTE for 25 bucks off somebody. I'm planning on just using it as an mp3 player and root and screw with it. Is there any way to shut off the data call failure warning?
