[MOD][WanamXposed] 4-Way-Reboot, Call-Recording, Status Bar Hacks, etc. - Samsung Galaxy Mega

Hi,
I was going to write a 4-way reboot mod but decided to have a look around first..
I found Wanam Xposed: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ma.wanam.xposed
This mod requires the Xposed Framework to be installed, you can find the link in the credits.
Installation:
You need root, and you need to be running the Xposed Framework. Install the app from playstore, activate the module via Xposed app, reboot, presto.
Compatibility:
I have only tested this on the i9205 running UAMG4, but frankly this should work on most Samsung 4.2.2 stock firmwares.
Confirmed as working:
- 4 way reboot
- call recording
- transparent notification panel
- circle battery
- remove emergency call button (lock screen)
- custom carrier label (lock screen)
- resizable notification panel toggles
- black/white notification panel toggles
- status bar font size / font weight mods
- spoof "official" device status on rooted/custom devices
- 360 deg. Rotation
Credits:
1. @wanam for the Wanam Xposed mod. Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2383484
2. @rovo89 for the Xposed framework. Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401

Any screen shots? Do I need to install the Xposed app after installing the Xposed framework or do they come in one package?

Download the app which then allows you to install the framework within. Download the module and activate reboots required as far as I recall

Thanks it works.
I wonder if it is possible to have a switch to turn off the low battery (5%) dimming on Mega.

New update for Wanam from the Play store, now enabling call button on the call log screen without extra work plus more tweaks

Thanks for the update.
A second feature I want badly is to have a notification panel to toggle of "negative colors", accessible from the Settings, My Device, Accessibilty. Maybe a new panel toggle button or to reprogram an existing panel toggle button.

This is awesome, never realised how useful the multiscreen is combined with wanam tweaks. And i can finally get rid of the aweful volume warning. All seem to work flawless for now.

Hey guys. Can someone point me to the setting for the:
- re-sizable notification panel toggles
I cannot find anything for re-sizing the toggles.
The below are how I have the toggles now. I don't think I re-sized them in any way. I only removed the text and change color, if I'm not mistaken.

Under Notification Panel, Quick setting tiles
Change the number of tiles per row. Eg, I set to 7 tiles.

Eg. I set 7 tiles per row.

Silly me. I saw that but I avoided it because it said about Landscape and I assume it only works for landscape orientation.
Thanks dchsub.
Setting it to 7 tiles obviously it displays 7 tiles when I drag the notification down and there're actually smaller.
I have set it to 4 and its fine. It might be the same size as 5 tiles but I happy with it.

[MOD][XPOSED][4.4+] Force Translucent KitKat [V3][4.23]

This module will force the apps selected to use the new Kit Kat Translucent Navbar and Status bar. When loaded, this app loads a list view of all your installed apps and you can freely select which to turn on.
Options per app include:
- Translucent Navigation Bar
- Translucent Status Bar
- Top Padding
- Bottom Padding
The padding options were added because some apps (especially those with Action Bars) will end up having useful information and buttons hidden under the now translucent system bars. The padding option forces the app to be in a smaller window so you can still enjoy both the translucent system bars & the whole view for the app.
Overall options include:
- Import/Export Settings : the settings per app can be exported and imported into a CSV file. Useful for testing things out while having a fail safe, switching devices, or sharing your values. CSV files open wonderfully in Excel and Google Docs
- Multi Edit : After selecting multi edit, you are brought to a screen with the 4 per app options, set them as you desire, then you are brought back to the main app list, select which apps you want your new config you just did applied to. It will overwrite all settings for the apps selected, unselected apps aren't changed.
The following apps work wonderful with translucent nav and status bar and padding of 0 for both top and bottom:
- Aviate
- Google Search (aka Google Now)
- Imgur
- XDA (The top nav buttons are big enough to still touch)
- Cal
- Threes
The following apps required me to do the top padding of 145 to achieve full functionality:
- Floating Widget (shameless plug)
- Xposed Installer
- Gmail / Email
- Google Play Store
Please share your results in the thread.
Without saying, this will only install on API 19+ (4.4)

Are you able to choose which apps have forced translucence? Also, would it be possible to create a module that does the opposite and prevents translucency in selected apps?
Nice

yes it has a UI with a listview sorry i didnt make that clear. I'll edit the post in a few.
I can look into a way to turn it off, which app you have in mind so i can test with that.

When I was messing around with just that, the app's screen still resulted in being pushed under the status bar (which remained black)...so know I thought of that, but first trials were unsuccessful.
very good module!! is missing some features like extra top/button margin for apps with buttons in these areas
Great module, thank you.
Just a suggestion, but it would be nice if there were an option to only force transparency on the navigation bar.
With so many apps having an action bar up top, forced transparency on the status bar isn't really feasible.
But most apps don't have features at the bottom of the screen, so stretching the background to go behind the navigation bar isn't a problem for the most part.

Keep up the good work

It will be cool if you will add an option to change transparency separate: nav bar or/with status bar
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Very buggy here, I'm on CM11, and with this moudule, content starts just from the very top of the screen, under the action bar, so I can't even tap the first object of the list. This happens in Whatsapp, for example. On apps like Facebook action bar is below status bar icons, and the look is kinda messy. Are there any known bugs of compatibility with tinted sb?

[Q] [REQ] Transparent status bar?

Hi, so as the title says... Just want to ask if there will be a transparent status bar feature?
It would be really nice to see it there, even in beta testing...

Good Changes! :good:
Saw that it arrived yesterday with an update, however the levels of transparency seem to be a bit broken.
If you select full transparency it doesn't seem to work, and just defaults to full black. (At least on the MotoX, anyway)
Additionally, if you select 'always show notification bar', the transparency option disappears entirely. (is this because it becomes adjustable within the widget setting instead?)
And finally, the transparency seems to have a forced gradient effect at all times, will there be a way to change this?

Hi,
Our team are still working on full transparency settings, as we want to make sure that the features will work 100%. So yes, we understand your frustration, but hopefully within the next update we'll include full transparency and gradient toggle support
I know there's a way but I don't know exactly "where" since I don't even know how to create a theme so maybe a theme maker knows?
This one have transparent default

This one doesn't have statusbar on default
But you can pull it down which is exactly the look I'm after (until you do anything at all and it dissapears again)
So I've tried everything in settings
Which only makes it black
But there's obviously a way to make it persistent and transparent through the theme itself - how?
EDIT: Aha just unlock the widgets and longpress the statusbar and voilá - seems to be persitent (although I have a bunch of xposed modules that alters the statusbar)
Good!

[MOD][5.0+] Remove Battery Saver Warning Color

This is a simple module that removes the orange battery saver warning color from Android Lollipop.
Sorry for it being called xBatteryTweaks for now. I plan to add a few other visual battery tweaks in the future, and then creating a new thread. For now though, it only does one thing.
To-Do
Better CM12 support. (There seems to be a lot of issues due to Xposed Lollipop still being in Alpha).

Nice!! Will test it later.
Another feature could be deactivating the 15% Battery warning/notification!
Thanks. Some new features you can add :
- orange just for nav/ just for status bar
- putting an other color
- customize what battery saver do (if possible)
For example disable 2 cores, limit animation but not alls,...
Good module!
But Navbar colour remains orange on CM12.
Can you make something that will remove the battery saving notification?
On my Nexus 5 I'm using elementalX kernel and the app and I preffer that battery saving feature to Google's one but the notification is really annoying.
Cheers
Good module. Maybe you can check for CM12', statusbar is fine but Navbar stay orange , I see it's reported.
Or, you could add the ability to change orange colour to another? I would like to change it to a green!
Please add in the system settings still point in the 10% to include energy saving system.
I also have to CM12 color is orange.
A battery icon in the status bar specifically removed the orange color? You can do that in the future you could choose. I would like the orange icon in the left.
Updated the module for Xposed Lollipop Alpha 2.
Changes:
Update for Xposed Lollipop Alpha 2
Should fix incompatability with CM12 roms
Preliminary code for color picker (coming soon)
Navbar remains orange on CM12
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
Any chance this mod could allow you to set a custom % to activate battery saver? I would like it to kick in at 50%, not 15%.
Still crashes on CM12 // Xperia Z3
Updated the module to ver 1.3. Still getting reports that the module is buggy with CM12 - I will keep working on it.
Changes:
Color picker to replace the color instead of removing it. Uses predefined Material Design colors.
Doesn't work for me - I'm on DigitalHigh GPE for HTC One M8. No visual changes and app crashes when I'm trying to launch it.
UI crashes with material color update.. You guys are doing awesome job btw

First off I just want to say great app. It works fine for me on OnePlus One 5.1.1, but if I put seconds in the status bar clock, it doesn't update the seconds every second. It only updates the seconds once the minute has passed, but seconds seem to work for all the other fields. Do you also experience this?

doesnt work on LG G Stylo but then again nothing does...why dont any of these xposed apps to remove the carrier text on the lock screen work on this phone?

It'd be more nice if you set refresh time of status bar to 1 second. (like how XuiMod has done)
And, Can you tell me how to add AM / PM ?

Tried a couple of the Navbar apps, didn't change it from white. I wonder who at Samsung saw that as an improvement. Makes my home screen ugly. I hope Nova comes up with something to fix it.
Hi guys,
Long time root user on every other device I've had, patiently waiting for our device to get root. But I did want to let you guys know how I corrected the white part over the navbar following the latest update. If you use nova launcher, you can set a gesture to hide the dock buttons, it's just a toggle (I have mine set as double tap swipe up) and it hides the buttons and makes the background of the nave normal again.
Lemme know if you have any questions.

I can change my navigation bar to six different colors other than white. You may need to activate the option to hide the navigation bar at the top of your picture before the colors become active. Personally, I his the bar and then just have to swipe up when I need it.
