Can I flash a new splash screen with red "M" and DUAL CORE?
My current splash is somehow ruined, teared or so.
Yes you can... Why would you not?
look for root roollbox by jrummy in market and u can look for dual core moto logo and change but u may have to buy the pro app

You mean ROM Toolbox? I already have the Pro on my other device so no problem to use it.
But AFAIK it only can change the boot animation not the splash screen (which comes before the boot animation).
The BA I installed but the splash is still teared.
Edit: OK, regardless. I found a stock splash in the forum and flashed with CWM.
No everything is fine...

how do wen change the spalsh screen on the vibrant, the one right after "Samsung Vibrant"
the 1 after the vibrant screen on most custom roms is the kernel splash so change the kernel to change that (kernels have their own though)
my custom bootanimation doest show up, u think u can try to fix it?

yea...i asked someone to test and see if my boot animation worked for them, because it isnt working for me. And if not than do anyone know what im doing wrong...
On my SGS3 when booting I see Samsung Galaxy S3GT-I9300 sign. Is it possible to change that sign or replace with custom image? On my previous phone (HTS Desire) it was easily possible.

Hey guys so I recently unlocked my loadbooter and rooted my phone and made my htc into the google play edition. all has been well... so the problem happened when I was trying to see what cool mods that i could add and found the one where the htc logo can be used for sleep/settings that is on the phone. When I installed the mod it restarts and i can still get into the recovery mode but I cant get past that black screen.... :/

I did a factory reset from bootloader and stilll a black screen after the htc screen shows up on startup. Any suggestions????

Reflash the ROM. It should get rid of the mod.
Sounds like you flashed a battery saver mod. were you flashing a new kernel? If so, you could just try reflashing it or flashing another.

I have a Allwinner A33 tablet with Android 4.4.2 it's 1024x600, and I want to change boot logo (not bootanimation), it displays 2 logos at boot before bootanimation, and I want to change them, how can I do it?
I have found many posts about this but none for A33, I also do not have any boot/ROM for it...
Is there a way that I can backup the device, change the logo and send it back with the same boot but with my logo?

Is this still the way to edit firmware files? I have tried DragonFace 2.5 but when I put the image back on the tablet it sits at the boot logo and doesnt go from there. Is there a tutorial on how to edit the logos and customise the preinstalled apps and desktop etc?

I am also facing the same issue. Even if I just save the firmware without making any changes in DragonFace, the device just freezes on the boot logo when flashed with Phoenix Suite.
Am i using the wrong combination of tools (Dragon Face to change the firmware and Phoenix Suite to Flash it)?
