I had the same issue. I had to choose manually driver adb google interface (newer one). I don't remember full name now and can't check cause I'm on linux.

Yes, I've this problem too. In Windows 7, Adb work fine with Stock rom but not CM. But when I use linux adb works for CM. Maybe It's some problem about drivers.

I've been having the same issue with my P769, on AntonX's CM10.1. I'm considering just restoring a Wind backup I have on the SD, since all I need adb for is to replace the recovery. With the stock ROMs, adb was working perfectly fine as well.
If I don't do that, I'll test it out with Linux tonight.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'd tried manually installing all the drivers as well. For most of the drivers, no devices were found. For the ADB Testing Interface and the Android Sooner Single Interface drivers, my phone was listed as offline.

[Solved] SDK issue

First, I wasn't quite sure where I should put this, so if theres a better forum for it, please move it.
I feel like a real idiot right now, but nonetheless I'm having issues getting Eclipse 3.5.2 and the Android SDK to work (on Mac OS X).
I got as far as installing the ADT plugin and then once I got to "showing" Eclipse where the Android SDK was located I failed miserably. Every time I navigate to the folder and hit open and then apply nothing happens, it just stays at the "default" no SDK(s) screen. Bit hard to explain, so I took a screenshot.

So if anyone knows how to get that to work, it would be really appreciated. Maybe I screwed up something really obvious, that would be just my luck.
Umm, have you downloaded all the developer tools in the SDK? Launch the android binary in the /tools/ folder and look for available packages and install them all, or the ones you'll be using at least.

Wasn't sure if that would work, I'll give it a try and let you know.
Hooray that worked.
Thanks a ton GrdLock.

[APP] Wireless ADB

OK, I found a really cool app on the market here
It's called wireless adb! It is really easy to setup and work. Just open the app and press the green button. Then on your computer, type "adb connect "ip address here: port"

This does require root, but it is still worth it! Have fun
ALSO, I DID NOT MAKE THIS APP IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. I AM SIMPLY PASSING ON INFORMATION.
It is a very nice app a few roms have it built in.

Thanks for this!
Best app ever for adb lovers.
Since this is an app on the phone its not going to work for anything other than a fully booted phone to push/pull files with right? Im referring to being unable to run any commands in hboot or recovery. Its a cool idea but seems like its usefullness would be limited.

If you're in recovery, you could easily mount USB instead of ADB..

[Q] Can we access internal storage?

Can we access internal storage? And if so how? Can we add/delete files?
Yea. Doesn't give option to storage when USB connects. Was just asking the same thing.

Select "Media Sync" - It uses MTP and the device will show up as a separate drive in Windows Explorer.

My home PC is WinXP and MTP no-workee. I installed Airdroid and it works great. It's a decent workaround.

I have the SDK on all my machines at home and work just so I can do stuff via ADB. I'm not a developer or anything, just comfortable with cl interface from the old DOS days. It didn't occur to me but that could be why MTP works on my Win7 box. I honestly don't know enough to answer that.

I found that my WiFi chip is from RealTek (8188CTV or 8188CIV, Can't make out the model name, too small) whereas my tab has some HTC port rom which has the driver for Broadcom's chipset. I found the driver, its RTL8188CUS. But I don't know how to compile it for Android. Please help me to uninstall Broadcomm's driver and install RealTek's. My custom ROM is running on JB
Thank You
Any progress with fixing the battery life/ wifi driver ?
There are drivers for 8188CUS in realtek site which are till android 4.0. I am not sure but the same can work for android 4.1 too

Nop ... guess just leave the tab. It was such a waste of money ... RealTek provides the uncompiled version of its driver. Lot of things to configure to compile it. And You need to make a custom ROM to install it too. I wasn;t able to find a method to install / uninstall drivers from Android.

Question Why is N200 not connected adb by PC?

I have done this many times through Unity for Android development. This phone is the latest to my collection for connection. I had to turn off Dev mode to get the usb menu back.
I turned Dev mode back on and still the pc doesnt show this phone.
Any ideas?
TIA.

Bump.
What system are you plugging into, Windows/Linux?
Further, what adb package are you using? We've seen issues with minimal adb, so you might get the newest platform-tools and try again.

As a Win10 Unity to Android and Oculus developer I solved an ADB issue in the past where there were two different versions running.
Unity had its own compared to Android Studio.
This time its different. I am going right into ADB to the phone. The phone says its tethered but the PC version reports no devices.
I did go through Android Studio to install the Google USB drvier.
Sorry my bad! I found the usb debugging option turned off. I switched it on.
I am now back in business.
Thank you all for the comments.
