Any modifications, enhancements, etc. will be brought in and supported through their Gerrit review process and/or Github pull requests into AOSPA-legacy repos.

[4.3/4.4 Direct Access] Please head over to rwilco12.com for latest builds.
GApps: You can find them here among other locations.
Flash Instructions:
1) Back up your current system and all data if desired.
2) In your favorite custom recovery, wipe data, cache and dalvik.
If you want to flash the ZIP version you'll need to format system as well.
3) TAR - Boot to Odin Mode and flash via Odin.
ZIP - Flash ZIP in recovery
4) Flash GApps
For testing 4.4 a full wipe (system/data/cache/dalvik) is required to flash. You can try without but I'm neither recommending nor supporting it.

If it's working this well, chances are they had a big hand in it!
...and of course! You, the community, for your support as well! Thank you!

I really need someone to verify the build functionality so I feel comfortable enough submitting the device specifics to PA and have it added to their repos. The build has a few issues but we're a lot better off now than we were even with 4.2.2 builds!
And as long as this goes I'll be replicating the process for the other relatives - USCC, Cricket and C-Spire.

Flashing here in a few. Will give this thing a shakedown

Any word from those who downloaded?

Flashed it at around 2.30 this morning so not too much time with it lol. Everything seems pretty solid. The only thing I noticed so far is that when I have my home screen set up and HALO is enabled, swiping between the home screens are jittery. 4.2.2 was pretty smooth in that regard.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4

Everything is working pretty good here....cannot get picture messaging to work and when you are in the settings to change your notification tiles....once you hit the back button to back out and error message that settings has stopped pops up...other then that running great so far
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4

I also noticed that autobrightness doesn't work. At least not on my device. Awesome work this is a very well done 4.3 AOSPA ROM!
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4

I'm gonna switch to twrp sometime today and try to flash this again. So far have not been able to get any 4.3 aosp rom to boot. Been using philztouch and wiping everything except for storage.

That recovery won't work for 4.3 roms, has to be updated.. I use twrp 2.5.0.2 or Clockworkmods latest. Both work great.

No 3G on 4.3
Hi there! First of all I want to thank you garwynn for all your hard work in the community, it will always be appreciated.
Here is the story, I'm a Galaxy S4 SPH-L720 user. I have it activated on a CDMA network outside the USA. I have 3G with no problems until...
I flashed:
pa_jfltespr-3.96-20130814.zip
pa_gapps-full-4.3-20130815-signed.zip
No 3G :'(
then I flashed:
pa_jfltespr-3.93-20130806.zip
pa_gapps-full-4.3-20130815-signed.zip
Still, no 3G :'(
I flashed back to:
pa_jfltespr-3.69-20130802.zip
Yeeey! 3G works great.
Then I thought maybe there is something wrong with the build. So I flashed another 4.3 ROM and still no 3G.
My conclusion is that 3G is not working with Android 4.3 for some reason. I tried changing the network type but no success.
Any suggestions?

Hi there, me again. I tried as you suggested but still no 3G on 4.3 :'(
I believe it has to do something with the apns or something, again, I tried changing the network type and still no 3G.
I'm going back to a 4.2 custom ROM until I figure out what's up. Thanks and any other suggestion is welcome.

ok, flashed 8/20 nightly over stock 4.3 unlocked rom. wiped/wiped, used cwm to do the flash.. flashed latest gapps.
now it boots to the cyanogenmod loading screen, but never gets past that. Can't get adb or fastboot to do anything (waiting on device), I can only use hardware keys to get into recovery. Tried re-wiping and flashing, no joy.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Is flash working for anyone?
I'm having issues restoring apps through Titanium Backup. I have enabled USB debugging, granted Superuser permission, but when I try to do a batch restore it hangs at 0% on the first app. I've tried multiple apps and just a single app with the same results.
I was coming from CM10.1.2. I did a complete reset/wipe and installed the 8/20 nightly along with the 8/13 Gapps.
Am I doing something wrong? I've let it sit for 10+ minutes and there's been no movement. Rebooted, re-wiped, etc. It still hangs.
The only other thing I can think to mention is that WIFI seems spotty here at work as well. My Nexus 4 (CM10.1) is getting a solid signal where the N7 fails to connect at all.
Thanks,
-Brett.
Is anyone having problems with the keyboard force closing? I came from 4.2.2 CyanogenMod and did a full wipe before installing 4.3 without my keyboard I can't get my Internet to work and can't log in to my gapps... Thanks for the help

thats a very well known thing on 4.3.You could have just searched for it. You have to go the Titanium settinfs and change the backup folder to legacy what moves all the files to the correct folder, then it works

Yeah and custom recovery, rooting is super simple, twrp is some and commands, nothing daunting, as for warranty... most companies frown upon modifying your device, if you had a warranty issue there is a good guide on here how.to get back to stock that's quite simple

Nice work man! Keep it up
I suppose that this ROM doesn't change anything about the awful sound of the tab. It's purely hardware I guess..
I tried flashing this file in TWRP and it failed. It just went to a screen with a picture of a dead android.
I'm assuming that the install crapped out because I don't have the latest version of TWRP? If this is the case, is there a flashable zip of it somewhere?
Thanks.

Ahhhhh! I managed to flash the rom and now i'm stuck in a bootloop! Help!
You didn't factory reset before flashing, I know this as I did it 1st time, you need to go look in the twrp thread and do the button combo to bring up the reset screen, at that point you can adb reboot recovery, wipe (factory restore) then flash the rom, then flash the gapps
This is the post, download mode is what you need to get into
Drgravy said:
it will work!
you need to put your tablet in download mode first
(this can be a lil tricky)
with your usb unplugged power down your tab hold the power button in till it shuts off
then release it the quickly push both volume up and down then quickly plug in your usb cable
that will put it into download mode
and just follow the instructions in that thread

Also in the general forum you will find a way to recover back to stock that's very easy

BEFORE FLASHING ROMS :
make sure you have an unlocked 4.1.2 bootloader, that you freegee'd, rooted and installed a custom recovery. TWRP or CWM. I use TWRP by Chad and CWM from http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager. Wipe to factory reset, install rom and GAPPS package. I use banks minimal and have had close to no problem.

Well just flashed the ROM and first thing i encounter was volume buttons are backwards it doesn't bother me, but look into it.
also when i flashed the ROM did a clean wipe, & used mizry's kernel 2.0 Kitkat Kernel don't know if the kernel had something to do with it, anyway gonna test everything & let you know the results tomorrow

Mines says charged , then after 2 seconds it changes to the percentage it's on, try Re-Flashing, Full wipe factory reset & wipe cache & dalvik, see if it helps

Strange strange strange. It's working a1 on both phones I have.
Please send a catlog.
I'm on phone right now. I'll send the location on keylayout if you don't find it so alt kernels will not have inverted volume.
Are you both on alt kernels?
Later.

ok use root browser or your favorite file manager,
navigate to :
system/usr/keylayout
in there, find : keypad_8064.kl
invert keys 115, 114 (change volume_up for volume_down) and vice versa. You'll be good to go. That's only valid for alt kernels. the provided one is fine as is.
Y U NO LOVE MA KERNELZ?
Hmm..wouldn't boot on my E970. I full wiped and attempted to flash via TWRP (the kit kat one with SElinux support) and then CWM 6.0.3.8. I'm going to assume bad download and try again later tonight. Great work on the rom man! I was using your canadian geeb variant for the longest time as a daily driver (I don't have anything of great importance on my sdcard).

Unofficial CyanogenMod 11 SABERMOD 4.8 Toolchain
Alright, well it's about time Google. What we have here is going to be CM11 4.4.4 builds for your Galaxy S2 i777 with the bonus of Sabermod toolchain. I will continue to add tweaks and change things but this will also be updated from CyanogenMod as well. I could theme this if interested as well and at some point I will add more features and tweaks. CLEAN install is recommended for your first time but dirty will be fine after that unless I notify you differently.
HOW TO INSTALL
Make sure you are on CWM 6.0.4.4+ before flashing ROM!
I by far recommend TWRP tho as that is what all testing will be done with because I no longer use CWM.
Download the zip
Download compatible Gapps
WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
Wipe Cache/Dalvic Cache
Flash the Rom
Flash Gapps
Reboot
Enjoy
Install from my previous build:

I honestly haven't used Omni in probably 18 months so maybe @cyril279 could help me out here. I know it's similar but from I can remember from way back at least is that cm was more feature rich but again that's been awhile. Sorry been busy trying to as linaro and some small tweaks the kernel and it's been eating my spare time. Not to mention I still have to keep my actual phone updated as well and I run those build as well. I could you another quad core or a couple duo's lol

It's in the recommended gapps for this ROM, but I've had it before, back when Render was still working on 4.4.2. It's a massive battery hog, and so I just disable it w/ TIB
No such battery issues here. Over twenty hours both days. Might use a different gapps when I post the next build anyway just haven't tested it yet

omni rom has a great experience but just as a stock KK means features free but cm has a lot more features and i believe with the latest nighties i have had more smoothness aside from the new update to 4.4.3 which isn't so smooth yet as its still just out . i have tried omni at first but i settled for the cm experience bc its just smooth and feature loaded without any lag , also slim saber by cyril is fantastic and he didd a great job with his solid base but still miss the unique slim customizations . so if i may recommend go with cm but if wanting some minimal taste then go with slim . hope this made it a bit clear for you :cyclops:
New build up. Switched download repository. Updated OP and I also changed the gapps link to an updated version that should work for this device. I'll finish adding linaro to the kernel before the next build just haven't had time to finish editing some things I wanted to test quite yet. Flash and report any issues. Thanks

Arrggghh. Just got the rom installed and now a new one. My typical dumb luck. Anyway I have the 01/05/2014 gapps installed. Seems to be working ok except lately I keep getting the contacts failing to sync. tryed clearing the data for contact storage, but it seems to be a problem in the future.
Anyway, what is the difference with the new Gapps you put up? Do I just install the gapps you put together over top of my existing gapps in recovery?

Wow, thanks @tonyt
You're really pushing these builds! Awesome.
I've only just downloaded AOKP. Still need to flash it though. Will probably try on ROM slot 1.
Currently on Paranoid Android. I was using CM11 for a long time, but after a while it starts lagging, and it seems silly to have to clear cache or monitor everything that's running all the time. Will see how PA does after two weeks or so. But I will be trying your ports out very, very soon!!!
Thank you!
Generated on a RAZR Maxx (XT910) using XDA's free mobile app.
@tonyt I never thought I would have so many choices! Theses are all great. I won't use an AOSP ROM, and all the ROMs you have recently posted are based on or use an AOKP type of system. (They all allow the led light to work with the screen ON, either natively or with the XLed module...)
Currently using the AOSB, and it is running well! Still restoring apps, but this one allows me to move them to the SD card. I loved Dirty Unicorns, but kept running out of space. Keep up the great work, and Thank You!

I'm using AOSB as my daily driver I'm in love with this rom, I'm trying to build and fix all the roms that I can, today I'll post new versions of AOSB and told me if you prefer AOKP or DU, Omni stills downloading because my family power off my computer and all the sync goes to the trash but if I can I build Omni today.
Thanks to you!!
Had you asked me 2 days ago which ROM I would prefer you to work on, it would have been AOKP. That has been the same answer for 3 years. My favorite, then Liquid Smooth.
However, your AOSB is incredible. GPS seemed to work, I just need to try the voice navigation. Everything else is smooth as silk. I will try to reinstall Dirty Unicorns later, but for now, this is amazing.
Keep up the great work, and again, thank you!

First of all, thanks for your ROMs, its great to have the possibility to choose from so many variations.
My question (sorry if this has already been asked): Do you think its possible to build a cm-12 version for the RAZR? I just checked all (I think) relevant repositories in cyanogenmods github, they all now include a cm-12 branch...

That'd be great. Tried to build it myself a couple of days back, but Motorola's omap-4-common repo hadn't been synced, so the make command failed epically And right now, I just don't have the time to work through the whole procedure again.

Hey @tonyt. I could build some ROMs for you, as I have a pretty good internet connection. All I need is some knowledge on how to build for this device and I can held you make these ROMs at a faster pace. [emoji6] Can you PM me your hangouts?

Here are some sources. Please don't ask me any questions, because I'm a noob when it comes to building.

I have both builds, but they have some errors in META-INF folder because I can't flash it, and I have asked in omni G+ but for now, noone give me any solution. I have replaced with others and didn't work. Maybe I have errors in my slot, anyway I build the rom so I have to wait for an answer at g+ community, sorry for the delay
