[App]Moto X camera [leaked] - HTC Amaze 4G

Found this in the note 2 forum. It was found by Bajanman and credit should be given to him. Camera is working great on the Amaze, but not video. I had to use quickpic for gallery. Hdr and slo-mo not working. I was hoping one of our devs might want to fix that for us and include this awesome camera in their rom. Here is the link.

Yeah I did a logcat and noticed some errors for amaze, but I don't have any real dev experience and I have tried this on only two roms both ics.
I'll keep trying it on other roms cm, miui, etc..
Hopefully someone developing for the amaze will see this and chime in.
I'll also keep checking your thread for progress Bajanman. Thanks again
Edit: camcorder not working on miui.

No problem buddy. Yeah you'll want to check in there now and then. I have someone working on the fully working version! Not sure when it's going to be ready.
But if your on jelly bean, it works great! And for CM or aokp, you can use the focal camera. Which is pretty awesome..

Usually it just needs the associated libs.
I'll look at it and see what I can figure out!

Going to try a few things... I did load it, and it looks really cool!

Yeah its an awesome camera. Easy to use and the multiple shot is awesome. The control settings are smooth, but only camera is working for me.
Anyone else have better luck on the rom their using ?
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using xda app-developers app

i just tried out the app. I'm using sense 3.6 stock
and the video recording is not working aswell, also when taking photos it goes out of focous and captures, where the stock camera for htc goes out of focus then focus on the object then captures!
so i think thats also messed up with the app

MIUI v4 Preview

I've been working on MIUI ICS for a little bit and have gotten it pretty stable. Got few more bugs to fix before I release it. Here are some screens
Currently the only bug that in trying to fix is the stupid MIUI Gallery is ugly, annoying, and will not show all photos and its just terrible. I've added CM9 gallery and everything is fine. All other bugs are minor and just need tidying up
Works:
Camera
Video recording
Calls
Data
SMS/MMS
and pretty much everything!

Love MIUI! I was hoping to use it on this phone. Used to rock it on my Evo and nexus s 4g back on Sprint.
I thought porting MIUI would complex to our note. But after reading up I guess its not really that hard afterall..Glad you got it to work nice http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1499411
Cool, thanks for your work. I've been on the fence about getting a Note (due for an upgrade) but haven't decided on it or, waiting for the S3, but with this and CM9, the Note is looking more and more likely.

Galaxy S3 & cm10

Okay now that I have the greatness that is jelly bean on my phone I find myself yearning for a few things gs3 stock has. The camera to begin with and its burst shots and continuous recording while taking snap shots. Secondly the video player with its live tiles and popup video. And this one is minor but s memo and the Samsung planner lol. Anyone feel the same? I love Google now but I really miss a lot of those Samsung features oh and one last Big thing all the motions!!!
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Some you can get an app like it for example check out super video in the market, the motion stuff I find it annoying myself so I don't used them, I been in android for a few years and s memo I never use I guess I got used to always download apps for that kind of stuff, the only thing is definitely better is the camera IMO
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
I just tried super video and it crashed my phone.

just get the stock samsung suite off play store or another source. reply to me if it works becuase i have sm10 but i dont want to lose the stock features!
I wanted to try cm10 but didn't because of this. The new software is what makes this phone the gs3. Not all of it is bad. I personally don't have anything against tw sure it doesn't look amazing compared to stock ics but you get used to it.
The camera has to be the best I've seen so far though.

Tried installing it but only found galaxy notes version which failed. And secondly if I drag video to the left or right it becomes fuzzy and then when I played a 1080p video it crashed my phone. But hopefully cyanogenmod team will come up with something for these other features such as the motions and camera

0.05 is a lot more functional than I expected from the low version number. Aside from the RIL, camera, HDMI mentioned all the other apps are doing fine so far. No crashes like I might expect of a preview elsewhere. The build isn't running/keeping background processes well at all, and had to change home screen to a page other than the blinkfeed to keep the launcher redraws down. TiBu auto-activates as premium for MoDaCo Plus rather than regular way I noticed, and the little blue X's on the help screens don't close out those overlays on touch (back button does.)
Thanks for the preview and wish you well in continuing this work, hope it will be a daily driver sooner rather than later.
