Hi,
I accidentally deleted my FM-Radio app, and I would like to know if the stock fm app is somewhere to be found...
I did find one for the xperia S, but it doesn't work. (freezes within a split second after you start it)

Hi.
Have this strange "problem" a few days ago, on the notification bar. It´s displaying all the time 3 apps in "incoming"... (look the screenshot for better understanding, below "Entrante" are Notes, Folder Organizer and Timescape).
Don´t know the reason and only installed recently HandcentSms, but i can´t figure if that can be related to that, so i´m looking for a solution for this.
Any clues or help please ??

Yes, of course.
Also tried to kill Timescape proccess, but no luck (the proccess autostarts ifself every time, but also don´t know if that´s related to the issue...).
Whats your firmware version? You could try updating from se to the latest

Phone is updated to the last available version on the Sony Ericsson Update program.
A few minutes ago, i´ve uninstalled Folder Organizer (as was the first app showed on the bar) and seems all 3 notifications are gone instantly, and no noticed anymore until now. So it seems the issue is related to that app, but can´t figure out the reason of showing that. I´ll post next if the issue re-appears.
For now, i have to search some icon-changer replacement

ADW EX and Root explorer is not free, so I guess the xda moderators closed the thread.
we are making updates now and when those updates are ready we delete those two files so threats are back between now and 3 days i guess

Did a wipe, format cache/data/system before restore. Installtion ok.
Saw the threads were closed... Ill paste it here then, opened the thread started writing and then it was closed.. hope u fix it soon and bring some progress news like camera half done or so

Hi all,
I've just registered to the forum but I've been visiting it for quite some time. I'm afraid my problem is being discussed in a thread but so far I was not able to find it.
I'm currently running CM7 J019 K007 with no reboots. Everything seems to work perfectly except for 2 things:
1. The camera is not working (not even in VGA). When I start the camera it appears to work but when I try to take a picture the image hangs and nothing happens unless I press the home button. The same applies to video.
2. I don't see the starting animation, is just a static image. And when I put a theme, even the default ones, there is no background, just a black screen.
I've tried several things to solve this and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've done all the standard steps:
1. Flash bb
2. Wipe everything (partition, Dalvik, etc)
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash apps
5. Reboot
But still those 2 issues continue to happen. I've also tried with J017 and J018. Got them running without an issue except those 2.
Can anyone help me get this fixed?

It is known that the camera might not be working in 2.3 roms.

I thought that too but in the threat that discusses CM7 it says the following:
-camera (almost done - works only on low res <=VGA)
And my camara doesn't work even at those resolutions.
Regarding the other issue, I think there must be a corrupt app package in the app zip file but the strange things are that I've downloaded it several times already and that everyone else doesn't seem to have this issue.

As J told in the thread. This release is only WLOD hunting. These have dissapeared so the coming days he will work on bug fixes and dalvik craches. He made almost a super stable CM7. Actually you can call it with this release stable but not fully functional.
On my phone my camera only work on 3mgp and video only works on low30mm.

As for animations they are off by default go to settings/display/animations then choose. The daufault boot screen is supposed to be a static image, that's the way its meant to be. You can change it if you have root explorer if you put this http://db.tt/X8BJiAb in either data/local/temp or or go to system/media and cut the file bootanimation.zip and paste to your SD card and then move the downloaded one to system/media. Don't unzip the file in either way. I think J said he was hoping to get the camera working soon but can only be done after Sony releases their 2.3. Hopefully this info shall help you out

Ok then, my bad with the animations since I thought the opening screen at boot was animated as it was in 6.something.
In any case, the mayor problem was the camera. I mean, I'm ok with not having 8Mb pictures, or only with 3Mb. But I'm not able to take pictures at all.
Anyway, I decided to go back to FreeX10 until something else comes along.

I can't post in the thread because I am new which is completely ridiculous, but I just wanted the camera apk from Task 10 since the one on Task 11 force closes. I'd really appreciate it if anybody can upload that for me. Thanks in advance.

Remember to read the OP very carefully. If you are still having problems after the fix (I am, but it is just a lag with the back button showing up) WIPE EVERYTHING. Read Task's OP completely for directions. Also, the new GT11 Slim is missing the ASUS weather clock widget. I added it back using the Meta file in the camera fix and throwing the apk in a zip folder with it. Flashed with CWM and it works fine. Still checking on what is also missing/broken. Otherwise this new update is pretty smooth.
Anyway, use the fixes and if you have anymore questions, feel free to ask.

I have been stymied by the media scanner not finding photos and music in jb roms. Finally found a probable cause - not a solution. Putting a .nomedia file in the camera folder and a reboot lets me see all photos - other camera apps, etc.. except what is in the camera folder of course. It also populates the song list in the music player. Seems that something in the camera folder crashes/freezes the scanner? Not sure what to do with this, but there you go. Most of you probably know this already, but I have been stuck for a few weeks - just moving to jb from a few ics ventures, gb was smooth - and so didn't know what was up. I found this outside of xda, and with so many posts about the issue, thought it might help someone in some way. Yes this is my first post, though I have been here for close to a year on my galaxy s2. I am using slimbean right now and enjoying it. I can't post in that forum yet, so maybe someone there will see this.

It is probably because you have too many items in the camera folder

Now, after clearing DRM, media storage, and gallery data, rebooting to a full scan, I can remove the .nomedia file from camera folder, and the photos are all there. Quickpic can see them all at least, gallery sees 1851 of 1907. Yes a lot of pics, apparently some are corrupted? Gallery is misdating some of them from Oct. to Nov.
A workaround at least. The market rescanners did not work for me.
