WOW!! I've followed Resurrection Remix from the days of GS2 and very excited to see you here @westcrip

You won't believe me. I was just wondering if I would see an RR build on my Nexus 4. And here you are. Another fabulous developer to make our Nexus rock. Eagerly waiting for the 4.3 release.

Will the CM11 mms.apk work on this?
Because the default mms.apk is not being themed with the theme chooser theme which im using.

I love this rom, great battery life (much better than cm11) and great performance, but i got random freezes sometimes

@up , yeah I'm agree with ya, but too much customization, drive's me crazy :sly:

No freezes at all for me.
Using it since the day it got released.

I've heard people say this ROM has no rotation glitch. Is this true?
Also, what is the customisation, battery life and general speed like?
Last question, will this ROM be receiving updates in the future? I'm currently using ResurrectionRemix but I'm tempted to make the switch

Rotation glitch is present, not very often though.
Battery life is better than CM11 and i guess equivalent to RR(atleast for me)
Gaming/multitasking is good too.

Hi... this was a pain in my butt to build but it has been built. I tested out as much as I can this morning. Camera/Gallery FC when you first boot. This does take a long to boot after you flash (5 or so minutes). I did test out Bluetooth in my car and had no issues with it. Received several Hangout notifications while listening to my car radio. Called the wife and had her call me back...everything sounded fine. Please test this out and report back. I will be out for the rest of the evening to go see the X-mas lights at Brookfield zoo with my family and some friends. I also just got the Moto 360, so I will be able to test that out with this ROM. Happy Flashing!!!

So glad it does'nt have the bluetooth bug.
Does this have navbar DPI settings?
EDIT: ROM needs net.tethering.noprovisioning=true in build.prop to enable hotspot/mobile tethering.
Working well, no issues so far
I ran into an issue, I couldn't fix permission while after flashing the rom so I did my setup and then rebooted to recovery and fix permission which was a success but then rebooted which caused me in a bootloop

Turn hotspot on and it will stay in your notification. That's what happened to mine.
Didn't get any camera force close, everything is good so far. I haven't tested bluetooth out. Screencast works fine.

Current TWRP 2.8.2.1 for Nexus 6 seems to have issues with fixing permissions, no matter what ROM I am running, I am not able to fix permissions without a bootloop, or non-booting device.

[ROM][Unofficial][5.1.1]Resurrection Remix v5.4.6 - Now with LeanKernel[6/2/2015]

UPDATE: I've added Imoseyon's LeanKernel to this ROM to help with battery life, forced encryption, etc. All credit there goes to him.
I just switched to the Nexus 6 from the LG G2,where Resurrection Remix was my ROM of choice. It appears the maintainer for the N6 stopped back in March, so I figured I would pick up where he left off. Content below stolen from his OP, except where updated for new details.

This kernel is from CM, and based on something I just read I believe their kernel does force encrypt. If that's the case, then yes. I don't know for sure though. I keep encryption on anyway.

Thank you OP for bringing it back to life. I always had sound and mic issues on outgoing calls on the old builds, but didnt experience any of it in yours. Great work
I just posted the latest build. This is still 5.4.5, but with the nightly changes from the last 36 hours. More importantly, I added Imoseyon's LeanKernel to the ROM to help with battery, stability, forced encryption, etc. All credit for that kernel goes to him. He just released 2.9 last night, so it should be that version.
Hola!
v5.4.6
v5.4.6 is uploading now.
Just a heads up, encryption is still forced.
Trying to download... makes me download an app from playstore, but thats not working. Tried desktop mode, puffin. download finally says failed.

Thank's for picking this Rom Back up , it was one of my favorites on my N5 ., I'll download when I get back home , I hope you stick with it this is an Excllent Rom ..:good:
Something I have been noticing is after a few hours VoLte will stop working and it will start kicking me down to 3G when I place a call. If I reboot the phone it will stay in LTE and allow for internet use during a call. Then after a few hours its like it goes away and won't let me do it until I reboot..

Possible thought to my theory is maybe I am on the outskirts of the LTE signal and that's why it kicks me down. Seems like I have a stable connection otherwise just notice it acting funny from time to time.

you mean onscreen or hardware buttons?
for onscreen button : bliss interface > navigation options > navigation bar
for hardware button : bliss interface > navigation options > button options
if you want to swap back and recent button: gestures > swap buttons

Great to see this ROM here. Loved it on my 1+1. Thanks for your efforts, benschhold!
Stupid question.... If laser focus isn't working, does the camera use some other (software) form to focus or is the camera basically unusable?

The camera focuses just like a device without laserfocus.
Works well for normal pictures, but there is a problem with barcode scanners

bhai :highfive:
Thanks for short review:laugh:
Any bugs I should worry about?
There is an issue I'm having with many roms including all CM/CAF based roms and XOS.
When we disable the hardware buttons and use software keys, they don't completely get disabled. If you keep your finger on hardware back button while using the touch screen as you would, the touch pointer gets messed up, ie, the scrolling stucks. And this happens throughout the UI, not only the launcher. Just try it yourself and you'll know.
This issue persists here or not?
Work Xposed with the Rom? Greetings

Firstly Great Work. Great ROM , very smooth
I found 2 things to be wrong
1. Instead of day and date both the time date is printed in settings --- The Vortex --- Clock and date
2. Gestures option are there twice in settings
Other than this it is Absolutely Perfect! :good:
EDIT : I think 1st point was my bad
