Hox+ running at 2ghz - HTC One X+

Hi,
Wondering if Anyone tried to overclocked their htc one x+ processor to 2ghz or 1.8ghz quad ? Or if that even possible?

It's possible just pointless. The CPU has ample power, AFAIK none of the kernel devs are willing to make an O/C kernel. Best chance is to compile one of your own.

Why do that ? The 1,7ghz One x+ processor is a beast. The problem of the Tegra 3 is the gpu. CPU is one of the best even today

Just curious how much power we can get from the processor.. if the cpu climb higher then the gpu also also may follow

[Q] Chainfire 3D and Tegra 3?

I'm surprised no one has still asked this but any news? I mean chainfire 3d allowed tegra 2 dual core games to be played on a overclocked single core nexus s smoothly. And now that nvidia has literally abondend tegra 2 and moved onto tegra 3 so should we?
Any news?

Tegra 3 4 me
Anything new?
BUMP! GS3 is being released and this is becoming even more necessary!
Any news?
Check the CF3D thread, I'm pretty sure that Chainfire himself stated that this would not be possible due to the advancement in the technology of the GPUs.

How much RAM?

Okay loving the specs so far but how much RAM does this phone have? Knowing how sense 4 was such a resource hog I sure hope this phone has 2 gigabytes of RAM. But seeing how they left RAM off the spec sheet I'm sure it only has 1.

Yeah this is iPhone 4 to iPhone 4s type "upgrade"
Edit: 4s was probably more substantial

Iphone 4 had a single core CPU, the 4S has a dual core one. Thats a pretty big upgrade
The 2100mAH battery, the 1.7GHz CPU speed and a real JellyBean system is more than worth it for me, not to mention the 64GB of storage.

Will an Overclock to 1.7+gHZ be available?

I need it cuz I'll get a ONE x+ which has 1.7 preloaded. Also with loop device pls?
Snapdragon S4 pro 1.5ghz vs Tegra 3 1.7ghz. What is so important that you need that extra .2 ghz?
Forget 1.7 I need 1.8 or else!!

Idk. I could hav 1.8
Stupid question.

Clock speed isn't everything. Krait does more work per clock cycle than tegra.

1.7 GHz should be possible. Stock + or - 200mhz is typically most stable, but it could go up to 1.8 or 1.9. That could murder battery life though. We'll have to see when we get custom kernels.

Heros of order and chaos.

Why doesn't the HTC one x+ support heros of order and chaos. I downloaded the apk from another website. I tried the game and it lags kinda bad compared to my galaxy tab. I don't understand why a quadcore phone can actually have lag on this game? S3 supports it fine

Probably has malware in it. Don't expect greatness from an apk that wasn't obtained from the play store

Malware = malicious software. If you choose to download pirate software, even from somewhere you think is pretty reputable, you run a big risk of being infected. Its a massive issue on Android.

My guess is that it isn't Tegra optimized. Try the renovate game booster and see if it helps. And as always, don't expect any pirated software to be safe.

[Q] One X+ Lag While Gaming?

What's up guys! I have had my One X+ since the end of last month and I must say, it is one monster of a phone. It has a beautiful screen, great speed, and it is overall the best smart phone I have ever had. (Coming from an Inspire 4G)
The only problem that I have with this phone is that I am experiencing more lag than I would like when I play games such as NFS Most Wanted, Shadowgun, Modern Combat 4, and Dead Trigger.
Does anyone else have this issue with their device? I am beginning to think I may have a defective product.
Or maybe these games just haven't been fully optimized for the Tegra 3 processor on the HOX+ yet? All i know is this processor is too damn good to be performing like how it is.
Any feedback would be tremendous.
thanks
lol I came from the same device. I have played most of those games and haven't experienced much lag if any. Try supercharging.
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda premium
It is the Tegra. I was playing Mario 64 through n64oid and it was lagging here and there. My old galaxy s2 didn't even lag at that.
Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk 2
What in the world is supercharging?
Also, I've heard that there is a certain program on the Play store that allows you to overclock your device? Do you know anything of that?
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda app-developers app
If your on powersaver the cpu is limited to 1300 turn off for 1700.
Supercharger is found here...

It is awesome.

Dude you are the best for telling me about supercharger. I had no idea such thing existed. It sped up my system tremendously and now the lag I saw before is non existant now. It's the ****!
It took me a while to install because I was confused but it was worth it in the end.
Thanks bro.

This supercharger make me headache, and hard to understanding.I follow by using smanager, final only get 25% superchargers...
That's because youhave to install the supercharged services.jar which I can't figure out. Also if you went through the supercharger it should be good enough.
