In my experience, being stuck at the boot screen (not to be confused with the bootloader) is due to an incompatible kernel. Make sure you flashed a kernel built for the same Android version as the ROM.

I am having a similar problem. I unlocked the bootloader and have TWRP, rooted, and then flashed the Bulletproof Kernel then wiped cache after flash. Now when I turn the phone on it shows the HTC logo then goes to a black screen and just hangs there and eventually reboots and hangs on the black screen again. I do not have a ROM on the phone storage and am working on trying to sideload one but am having a little trouble. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

solved
Fixed my issue. Had the wrong kernel installed. Flashed the correct one through fastboot and got it working

Hi, i got an HTC OneX+. Rooted with one x toolkit.
Today i wanted to go for OrDroid 4.0.0 since i've been using original one.
So i started. i got OrDroid and the boot.img provided and i think i did a mistake by doing a MegaWipe with aroma.
After that my phone just stuck on quietly brilliant.
Now..my pc can see the phone in device manager portable devices and i can push files with adb but aparently i cannot acces them with CWM-based Recovery v6.0.2.7
Please help.
Don't knot if it will help but try flashing the boot.img again and see if it will let you boot. Sometimes it takes a couple of flashes for it to work.

Did you flash the boot.img ? How is your recovery not working? What is it doing specifically?

If you flash over a recovery, nothing bad happens. Is it just a black screen or does it reboot?

Does your phone not boot, or not turn on? You said both but it maybe a translation problem.
When you do your wipes, do they complete successfully, or give an error about unable to mount? The Rezound seems to have a very short life of it's embedded flash disk, they have been dropping like flies lately due to hardware failure.

Install latest TWRP and use the Clean WIPE script, then flash again, if that fails use one of the EXE RUU's to get back to stock and start over. If that fails, your emmc memory is probably bad.
Thank u dude i will test it

A true RUU is a program (EXE file) you run from a Windows PC, you put the phone in Fastboot mode in Hboot, and run the RUU on your PC and it takes care of everything for you, it will wipe all data on the device, rebuild the partition table, and write new data to all partitions to the phone. This is about the only way you can recovery from a corrupt emmc. This will return the phone to it's stock, out of box, state on whatever version of software the RUU is (leaving only S-OFF).

[Q] HTC One X+ enrc2b (International) Stuck on spinning Cyanogenmod logo

So a few days ago I got completely fed up with the stock rom and wanted to try out cyanogenmod on my HTC One X+ (the international version). I've unlocked the bootloader, rooted and have replaced the recovery with twrp v2.8.7.0. All was going well until I wiped everything (which included the os), so now I'm stuck without one. Cleverly, I made no backup to restore to. Using fastboot and adb, I've been pushing various roms and attempting to install them; the installs are apparently successful but when I try to launch the system I'm stuck on the spinning cyanogenmod logo. This seems to be a pretty common problem among everybody using custom roms and the fix for this seems to always be go and factory reset the device, wipe things etc, which I have been doing anyway each time before installing a rom. I've been doing this in circles for the last day and a half, is anybody able to help?

Thanks for this, it seems most of the guides I've been using skip this stage. The phone was working like a charm with cm10 but I was prompted to update, and now I'm stuck on the spinning boot logo again. What should I do?

Just grab the rom from here : https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=enrc2b
And flash the boot.img manually
