[Q] Plz help me fixing a weird destroyed xperia x10 - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
FYI my xperia X10 was on a GB stock Rom and I was facing some bugs like:
1- When I plug in to the charger, the phone starts and go the home-screen and the Lock-screen (which I really hate and It shouldn't do that)
2- When I check the screen auto-rotation check box, the auto-rotation works for a while then disabling itself
3- freezes and restart a lot
4- The battery after full charging lasts for 2 hours max (the problem here is the battery not the software)
So I decided to change the Rom. I found that the device was having CWM recovery on it. And here what I did:
1- I made a full backup, and it was successful.
2- Full and Clean wipe (factroy, data, /system, /cache, /data, dalvik) for every thing except the sdcard format and SD-ext format.
3- I start to flash the custom Rom using CWM.
4- The famous error occurred the Status 7 error (It was the first time for me to face this error).
5- I accidentally restart the phone.
Since then when I turn on the phone, all I get is the "Sony Ericsson" log screen and nothing after. I can't even reach the CWM again.
When I plug it the pc it is not recognized by the pc by any means and in any mode (flash mode, fastboot mode), not even an yellow error mark on the device manager.
Recently the battery is empty and when I charge it the Red LED blink (I think because It is trying to start up) after few minutes the blinking Red LED turns to constant Green LED and after few more minutes the green LED is off and the phone start up and reach the "Sony Ericsson" log screen and stay on it for 10 seconds then the phone is off and the blinking Red LED return again and I am in a circle without an end.
Note:
The Flashtool didn't recognize the phone even after installing the driver.
When I open flashtool on my PC and I press the flash device button (the thunder one), choosing the flashmode then choosing a stock firmware I downloaded then pressing flash. The "Waiting for Flashmode" window pop up and the animated instruction is working normally but when I try connect the phone while pressing the back button, the animated instruction goes extremely fast few times then return to normal and the phone still not recognized.
Please help me
Thank you for your time

I suggest that you get a new battery as I faced similar issues with my previous (old, 2 hr life) battery
and
recover the phone through SEUS:

My X10 mini was a brick (or I thought it was) because it was behaving like you described: the phone was stuck on the SE logo and it wasn't entering Flash Mode although I pressed the back key when the Sony Ericsson white letters were displayed.
Here is my solution
Open SEUS and select your phone. Click Next.
SEUS will wait for the device.
Connect your bricked phone via the USB cable.
Then you must access Flash Mode, at all costs.
SEUS, PC Companion and FlashTool can detect this phone only in Flash Mode.
Note: If your phone is resetting correctly (pressing and holding Power+Center) and the phone is being detected as an unmounted removable drive on the computer as mine did, it should be able to enter Flash Mode, no matter it has been already stuck for ages on the first screen with the white letters. My phone had enough battery charge to go through the whole process.
To enter Flash Mode with the Xperia X10 Mini I had to:
1. Perform a hard reset of the phone (Press and hold Power+Center)
2. As soon as the phone vibrates, release both keys. Phone will restart.
3. The white Sony Ericsson logo will be displayed.
4. Press and hold Power+Center and immediatly the Back key (the three keys at the same time)
5. Keep the keys pressed until the LED turns green.
After doing the correct sequence and entering Flash Mode, the LED turns green and the screen turns completely black. SEUS detected my phone at this point, downloaded the original firmware and installed it automatically.
do u have trick for my problem here forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1388476
my x10 just vibrate once and stack on blank screen.
Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk
When I use SEUS It keep saying "You have the newest software available"
I tried the hard reset and all. The phone now just won't start at all
Hi,
i got the same problem what you describe ive stuck at the SE logo and cant get into recovery and i cant use flashtool. i tried to do what you say in the first post, but when i press the shell root button, it says "wait for device" then its not responding, and i cant moce on to the next step... what should i do now?

Hi,
The procedure described above works fine until you've the phone recognized by the computer.
Here's how It has finally been recognized:
1) Completely switch off the phone (Do not leave it with SE logo).
-You can do the either by removing the battery connector (be cautious) under a rubber on the left(not above) of the camera lens.
-OR when the USB is plugged in,
(1.1) press center + back + power button until power off,
(1.2) then release center and power button AND KEEP back button down(about 2-5 seconds) until green led lights on. remark:LED will stay green until you unplug USB or phone switches on.
(1.3) Unplug USB.
Your phone should be OFF now. SE logo doesn't appear anymore (Wait 30s to be sure)
2) Unplug the USB cable from computer and plug it in another USB port of the PC.
3) At this time, if you plug USB on your X10 mini, it should be recognized as a SEMC device (It has worked for me).
-Success? Go step 4
-Failure, retry (from step 2 should be enough) with another USB port. If you've tryied all ports already, I've no idea.
4) If step 3 is successful, unplug USB.
5) Start SEUS (update service program from SE), choose you phone, follow the instructions on screen. Remark: Even if it says that you've got the last version, there is an "Install" button available on the bottom right corner. Click it!
Hope it'll help.

How to Unbrick my X10 Mini Pro

My phone was working, I had MiniCM7Pro V21 Installed and I tried to install the CWM Recovery Version 5, because in my installed version the Battery Stats Wipe wasn't working and my battery was draining very quickly.
After the CWM Recovery Version 5 Installation my phone got bricked because it's getting stuck in Sony Ericsson Text.
I am trying to Reflash but only Flash button is active and it doesn't show any firmware though I have copied both zip and unzipped files in firmware folder in FlashTool_0.2.9.1
I tried to use SuperOneClick to root but it gets stuck in Waiting for device. Kindly help.
It gives the following error :-

I have installed it.
ggsetup-2.2.0.10
Press home+power button until you see black screen, then immediately press and hold back button plugging your phone into computer. When you see black screen and green flashlight-> your phone is correctly booted into restore mode. From this mod, you can restore your phone, using SE restore tools: SEUS and Sony Ericsson Pc Companion, or flash stock kernel using flashtool.
P.S. If you wont see black screen and green flashlight for the first time, try it again, again until you putt your phone safely into restore mode.
Thank you for the reply, the black screen do u mean the black screen with Sony Ericsson Text ? When I Press Home+Power Button I can see the Sony Ericsson Text Black Screen and then I press and hold the back buton Pluging my phone into computer I keep on seeing the Sony Ericsson Text Black Screen with no green flashlight.
I am still trying.
Black screen without any logos. Just black screen. Don't forget to hold back button.
Doing that, but it still gets into Sony Ericsson Text Screen, I press home and the power button, black screen for a while and I press back button and try to connect the phone the Sony Ericsson logo appears.
But When the cable connected and back button pressed the I can see the charging image and green light flash.
and in Flasher it shows the following :-
07/007/2012 23:07:36 - INFO - Device connected with USB debugging off
07/007/2012 23:07:36 - INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode

reflash to stock kernel and ROM
- install PC companion.
- connect phone in repair mode
- install drivers.
- after driver installed, reflash stock kernel using flashtool
- after stock kernel installed, reflash stock ROM using PC companion
- after stock kernel and ROM flashed, your phone should be like just when you bought it.
- bootloader should be locked now
- Root again
- unlock bootloader again
- Flash nAa again
- Flash cm7 again
- DONE!
Thank you for your reply, I have PC Companion Installed, I have a Generic Firmware downloaded, I have no idea what a stock kernel is ?
I am not able to get into this repair mode, I think this mode is when the flash light flashes ?
from the Bootloader part, I think I can do it because I did it before following a tutorial. If you can lease help me with the prior stage to bootloader lock would be highly grateful.
Thank u
Ones again: to enter restore mode you have to power off your phone, using home+power buttons or powering off like I have on picture. Then press and hold back button, while plugging it into computer.

- To relock bootloader you need to flash stock kernel which is 2.1.0.a.06 kernel.
- You need to flash stock kernel because if you have nAa kernel or any custom kernel installed, you wont be able to repair your phone using pc companion.
- After flashing stock kernel:
1. open pc companion
2. click support zone. (click start below it)
3. after clicking start, there should be a new window which also has a "start button"
4. on the 2nd start button, there should be a button under it which says "repair"
5. after clicking repair, just follow the steps for you to connect your phone in repair mode.
6. complete the repair installation.
7. DONE!
8. Bootloader should be locked now.
Thank you I was able to restore through PC Companion by getting into repair mode, however I didn't use flashtool to flash prior to usin PC Companion.
Thank you both for your kind support, Highly appreciated.

You are welcome my friend
And how should I proceed if I have a really hard brick (u20a)?
I tried to flash nAn on it, followed some instructions to unlock the bootloader, but something went wrong, the results were not the ones that should had been, and I made the mistake of turning it off. Now whenever I try to power it on, it doesn't do squat.
The only thing that makes me think it's still alive is that (after several months) I plugged it in and it began blinking on red (perhaps really low battery).
I've tried to pull the battery, put it back in, press back (keeping it pressed), and then plugging the cable to the computer and nothing.
Any ideas? Or should I flush it down the toilet? :crying:

Xperia go hard bricked, not starting in flash mode nor fastboot

Sorry, i'm new here, i've downloaded roms and some other stuff here, but now i have a serious problem. I had this GoogleBeAnZP rom on my phone (i had root, unlocked bootloader and CWM) and it was fine!!! actually it was running smooth, but i wanted to try another rom, i tried to instal a JB custom rom that i saw over the internet, so i entered the recovery mode and installed this rom with aroma installer. it said that everything was installed, and that it was going to reboot, so i waited, and NOTHING HAPPEND!!! now, i try to enter flashmode to instal the rom from flashtool and i can't even enter flash mode. my cellphone is really dead, all it does is turn a red light when i connect it. once it turned on the green light like when it enters flash mode but not anymore. I've hold the down button before connecting it, like a hundred times, trying to reboot the phone pressing the up volume button and the power button at the same time but its dead. it keeps showing the red LED indicator but not starting. i've been reading hundreds of posts but no cellphone does what mine does. i tried SEUS, flashtool but both require flashmode and I simply can't enter!!
All i get is this red light from the LED but no response in my phone. the screen doesn't blink neither vibrates
HEEELLLLP!!!!!

[Q] Xperia Sola not getting Power ON after install custom ROM

Hello,
Yesterday i decided to root my xperia sola, and i did that, and I also did CWM recovery and right after, i tried to install a new ROM. I found some "XNovathor Project 4.1.2 V5" rom and followed the instructions....backed up, wiped everything, wiped cach and than I installed the rom from phone sd memory... it showed as if succesfully installed. Finally, the video guy says that i should reboot the device (the first option in boot window) and to wait as long as it takes. So I did...I rebooted it and it just turned off...i left it whole night, hoping it will boot up eventually, but it didn't...After I realised it wont, i tried to turn it on, but when i hold the power button, it's just vibrating every few seconds for half a sec as if it will turn on, but it doesn't. The light doesn't turn on, nothing shows up on screen....when i push the volume down and power button at the same time, along with vibrating, the led light goes green every few seconds. Only diffrence is that when i put it on the charger and than press volume down and power button, the led light turns green and it doesnt turn off untill i unplugg it. Is this what they meant when they said "bricked phone"? Thank you in advance, any advice is appreciated!
Try flash stock FTF file via flashtool if you can get into flashmode.
Try flash stock .54 kernel.

Thankyou soo much...! Now its working fine.

Won't boot into system or recovery, flashmode won't work

A couple of days ago, my m4 aqua started giving me errors that says ".......... has stopped working". By "............", I mean all apps. And by "all apps", I mean literally all the apps installed on the phone. I restarted the phone, but I gues that was a mistake.
When I try to turn in on, phone is stuck a sony logo. When I try to boot into TWRP, the result is the same.
Tried flashing all over with Flashtool but the phone isn't recognized in flashmode. When Flashtool asks me connect my phone in flashmode, I hold the volume down button and connect it, the led turns green as it is supposed to, but Flastool does not recognize it. The same thing happen when I try Sony Xperia Companion App.
Weird thing is, the device seems to be stuck on like that until I reset it with the small reset button on the side. Ususally disconnecting the phone in flashmode gets it out of flash mode, but when I cancel flash and disconnect, the led still shines green. The same thing happens for fastboot mode or when charging. When I plug the charger, the led turns red as if charging, but when I unplug the chager, the led is still red until I reset the phone.
