you need to unlock your bootloader first in order to flash custom ROMs, Pac, Cyanogemod, etc ect

The recovery you have is not a true recovery, it's a 2nd init. It lives on your system.img a real recovery lives in a recovery.img.

Correct, it relies on the system.img (/system) to work. For example, if you remove /system/bootstrap or busybox it won't work anymore. A true recovery does not need the system.img to operate.
The 2nd init cwm is a recovery, but one mistake and you will softbrick your system.

Again fashing way Flashtool JB in you device. NOT TRY REPAIR WITH USING PC COMPANION OR SUS can get hard bricking.
It has the su binary guys..Because some want superuser and some su simply download the app of your choice and you are done..

I followed your method, flashed the kernel, but nothing happens, their is no SuperUser or supersu app installed.
I downloaded the superuser app from play store and tried to get root access for X-plore file manager, but root is not accessible.

[Q] TWRP or CWM for LG G2 Mini, D618

Hello, i see in the development post, the cwm and twrp for the LG D620, but, my device is D618, the recovery will work on it? the chipset of the two models are the Snapdragon 400, the difference is the LTE support. I think my bootloader is unlocked, i used the 4pda unlock.
Sorry for my english
EDIT:
I flashed the D620 recovery, the device still working, but, when i try to enter in recovery mode, my device stop on a screen with a LG Logo and
[520] fastboot_init()
[620] USB init ept @ 0xffdc000
[640] udc_start()
but the device still working, but recovery mode no
EDIT 2
the command fastboot oem unlock work! the error that i get when i try to enter in recovery, is because of wrong recovery

Two possibilities:
1) in ADB shell or Terminal emulator:
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/boot of=/sdcard/boot.img
2) use a flash app like Rashr and and make a backup of your kernel.
Both is the same.

Does it work? Can't see how it should work. Maybe as temporary recovery.
OK, analysed it. It is an fake flash update.zip for usage with existing recovery.
May work as temporary CWM if it is signed correct.
For Testing
Find attached CWM-Recovery image to flash via dd or an app like rashr or flashify.
Works with FAT32 SDCARD.
Make sure you have an unlocked bootloader.
Make a backup of your current backup before flashing.
Do it on your own risk!
It is not tested since i have D620R.

Do you think the hack bootloader hacked will work on all version of LG G2 Mini D618? Based on the link the software version of the hack is for V10d and mine is V10c. Don't want to brick my phone, I really want to install the CWM you build for the D618. :good:

Yes, it is build from latest CM 11 source and gives you CWM 6.0.5.0.
The kernel is the original from boot.img.
Last night I successful compiled the kernel from LG source the first time and tried it on my D620r.

I don't know.
I only own a D620r and have only one firmware version of it.
But you can check if aboot changed from V10d to V10c using a hex editor.
If you can understand Russian got to 4PDA.ru.
They did all the hacking original.
What ever you do to the low level partitions of your phone, you always risk a brick.
If you don't want to take the risk leave your phone original.
It is a good phone anyway.
For me it is also a hobby/toy to tweak it.
If it bricks I have a new hobby to unbrick it .
Cheers,
Zaaap

Flash older twrp through exact same steps you did to flash the current one.
If that doesn't help then at last flash stock lollipop from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2755857

Cant boot in to recovery.

I recently got a Lenovo k30-t from my uncle because he messed up the system, after flashing twrp and Cyanogen mod everything was working fine. Twrp released an update and I wanted to update it, so I flashed that and the phone now works normally except for the fact that I can't boot in to recovery. Not thru android also not with adb. I reflashed the recovery I used originally and nothing happens. Still the same issue. And if I use 'fastboot boot recovery.img' I get an error. I found an other recovery and with 'fastboot boot recovery.img' I can boot in to it, but when flashing I get the error that the file is too large, how can I fix this.

It's working now!
Not sure if it's using your recovery or the 28mb one, although i think it's the yours.
I changed my rom from CM 12.1 to Ressurection Remix and now i have access to the recovery.
Thanks for all the help.

The device boots fine (no longer infinite bootloop), but once it has powered up, the touchscreen doesn't work.
I have rebooted several times and no help.
In TWRP even the touch works.
Can You fix this? @Nimadroid

Upgrade from 7.0
Hi,
quick question:
I am on 7.0 with root and DRM fix comming from here: "[Guide] Nougat with DRM fix, root and TWRP* (SGP771)".
Can I simply flash kernel and TWRP as you described on top of these or do I have to restart with any TFT's on 7.11?
Thanks a lot and best regards

If you're using SGP712 you need to flash the proper recovery for that device, the one in OP is for SGP771
This one is the correct one (also linked 3 posts above): https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298956222
Well .. actually OP and your´s in 3rd post and here are all 3 the same
Like said tried these here, from androPlus thread, etc etc ...
Flash via fastboot is working but cannot enter recovery after flashing
Tried to access via Power button, volume button, adb command, ... i dont even have a led signal at power on

oh, didn't notice, although I'm pretty sure the one in OP was different
It's booting on my device, but the first time I tried it didn't. I think it booted when I accidentally flashed it on the boot partition instead of the recovery one maybe you can try that.
but before, try hot booting it with:
Code:
fastboot boot ~/Downloads/TWRP-3.1.1-lineageos-karin_windy-20170520.img
Hotboot endet in an Bootloop but flashing recovery to Boot helped! Many many Thanks
€dit: Ok my bad didnt work ....
Hotboot didnt work
Flashing recovery to boot did boot up Twrp - Wiped cache/dalvik, flashed SU, Tablet constanty reboot into TWRP instead of system
Flashed Kernel/Boot to Boot - Tab boots into system but no root
Tried to reboot into recovery - no luck
