It uses Nova Launcher, so I guess that would result in additional problems. It would probably backup and try to wipe system and leave data be if I were you.
I am test running it right now and it seems to be working quite well.

hmm,
going to eat that bullet and see how
im using apex, making a backup and seeing how that goes
thanks

I noticed the German dictionaries are missing, so no swiping nor predictions in German on stock keyboard. I use the English localization of Android, so I have no clue if German works there.

Flashed over my CM 10.2
Had some CPU usage problems where ROM was constantly processing something...
Managed to explore the features and some of them great additions to existing ROMs here
However I didn't really had the mood to start from fresh to get those features
I recommend the ROM to others though, if coming fresh or intend to start anew if your kind of thing
In the end I didn't fimd the problematic reason which kept eating CPU

Fresh install and everything runs smooth here.
Phone book and history is available through Bluetooth unlike SlimBean ROM.
I found battery drain to be slightly greater than SlimBean with the same usage but a lot of features (dual panel included )
Now is my daily driver!!!

I'll have a look at the missing dictionaries, but starting from Monday. I'll be on holiday till then.

Replacing LatinIME.apk in the system/app folder of the zip with one of cm10.2 could fix that. I did not test that this is just a guess, if anyone wants to try backup before and don't blame me.
ot: enjoy your holiday!

Great! I'll give this one a run just a quick doubt, is the kernel on this ROM the same one you put in the CM 10.2 port? Because I've been getting some great results with the VR scheduler included.

yes is the same only change RAMDISK to use on Mokee OS
Does the kernel contain kexec hardboot patches? I would love to give this a try, but cant give up multirom. And since the ramdisk is for mokee, I am betting a kernel like m-kernel a60 would not be the best fit.

What is AICP?
AICP is known by someone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since than evolved as a mature rom with the BEST community you can find!!!
Rom has always been AOKP based so expect all AOKP goodies + new additions.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or AOKP team if it conserns their modifications. This rom isn't AOKP supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

What's Broken:
You tell...
ROMS
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy JB. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has GAPPS, custom dpi & xposed persistance in between dirty flashes
Feel free to use AICP full 4.4.2 GAPPS package from HERE or thread's Download page ...
How to install video guide: Special Thanx to @Scottchy014 - Great work man !!! :good:

Fast preview of the some AICP features by @Alfonso87 for Nexus 5. Since It's same ROM, we can use it here, I guess
If you aren't able to connect to mobile network on deb:
Sometimes, there is no 4G (=LTE) network in your area... Then you'll need to switch to 3G network...
1. Go to Setting -> Other -> Mobile network -> Preferred Network. Switch to 3G instead of 4G. That's it.
2. Check for your network's APN's... Edit them as needed. Enjoy !

Nice to have something new!:good:
Flashed this morning and it will not flash correctly with TWRP...at least not for me
switched to 4ext as stated in the directions and it flashed and booted with no issues
The problem I'm having is the little 'mouse' 'circle/pointer' thing.
how can I disable the mouse and use the phone screen as a normal touchscreen?
my capacitive buttons just vibrate and it is very difficult for me to scroll and select items using this mouse/pointer/circle thing
Thanks

I know the loading circle animation is broken.
About that "pointer" are you talking about the white dot in the attached pic?
Are you saying that the capacitive buttons don't work? If they are vibrating, they should work.

same issue. I can get to settings but can't get down to about phone to enable developer settings
Yes that little circle...
I had to restore my previous loadout for work...but I will flash back to this later and provide any logs you want
I can navigate through the menus by 'clicking and holding' the pointer but its very cumbersome... I looked through all the settings and couldn't figure out how to shut it off
As for the capacitive buttons,I think the search button may have worked as 'back' but I honestly don't remember ATM.
The other 3 just vibrated and didn't do anything.
I enabled the virtual on screen nav buttons and they worked fine, except having to 'scroll' over them and click with the circle mouse thing

Seeing the same thing with the mouse button. Can sort of get through things but that has to be over every key that is clicked right now. Could not get through the settings menu to get to anywhere to try and change it. I flashed it with 4ext BTW.

Haven't experienced any issues in testing the last few days.
I will flash this now and report any issues
Looks pretty sweet. Have to give it a flash tomorrow evening. Haven't run a AOSP ROM yet. What's the preferred App for Active Display?

A few bugs: Play download caused a reboot.
On nearly every reboot a 2nd reboot is needed to fix WiFi & BT.
There is no Google (voice) search via BT. Eg call Wife.
But Way cool otherwise. Saved a BU & will wait.

Haven't had any issues downloading from play. I don't have a BT headset so I can't test that, dose the hotword detection thru BT normal work on AOSP ROMs?

They all fail. I think my strorage is jacked up. I would post some screen shots of my files, but they won't even save. I have a sdcard0 folder and a emulated folder and in the emulated folder it has a 0 folder and a legacy folder. Inside the 0, legacy, and sdcard0 folder they all have the same things inside of them. So, they're all the exactly the same. I don't get it, but I'm pretty sure that has to be my issue.

Is this an msm8960dt build or just for the X?

That file structure is normal it started around the JB release there just symlinks. That's weird tho, did you come from s fresh install or flash over another slim build.

@DJLamontagneIII It was a fresh install. My gallery won't even read all my pics from my storage. It says no external storage available.

Yea that's weird I'd try to install again with a fresh DL. Should work on all of the msm8960dt family because its unified but what device are you using?
