Hello ppl i could really use your help.
About a few weaks ago i installed a nightly version of cm 10.2 all was working fine until my phone didnt wake up at some point. So i tried to reboot phone with holding down power button until the 3 buttons start flashing but it didnt work out my phone didnt reboot. So i tried to do it again with holding down power button but now the 3 buttons didnt start flashing but the power led went of for a second and came back up so i waited after that. my phones screen stayed black for like 15 minutes and after that the htc quitly brilliant screen comes up. When i wait another 15 minutes it will start to boot into cm.
Now i get the following problems: Sound on my phone doesnt work anymore, Camera doenst work, Cant play videos, Gps doesnt work etc etc.
I tried to install stable version of cm 10.1 flashed new boot.img but didnt seem to solve the problem same problems as with 10.2 remain.
does anyone know how i can fix this?
Still didnt fix my problems does anyone know what to do?
Tried different roms with different kernels but booting still takes awfull long.
Also i still have that sound, camera, video and many other system features dont work.

Try wiping all the partitions I mean full wipe dalvik+system+cache+data and install the ROM again .....
Have you tried it already....?????

Yup also tried that but didnt help...
Maybe i must try format the /boot partition first? and flash kernel after that?
Because i think my problem is a kernel problem...

I have rooted my legend but i have a kind of issue. Everything works ok but once in two days, sometimes it can happen after one day after restarting the phone. When i make a call after i press "End Call", the call is finished but i get stack on the End call screen for 1 min, after that phone gets to home screen but i cant make another call. When i go to the dealer End call screen apears and stays 1 min again. If someone call me at that time phone doesent react at all. The person who is calling me says line is normal, not busy.
I have tried a lot of things but nothing. Reflash it 20 times. Wiped/formated everything, different radios, different CWMs, different builds of CM7 ROMs but in the end nothing...same problem.
I did not had this problem with the stock rom.
If there is someone who can help about this. Tnx in advance.

U r in the wrong forum so no one will help u here.
But if i was u i would try flashing another rom like sense or miui and so on.
Just remember to wipe all before flashing.

Noone so far have reported this kind of problem with CM7... i dont understand what could be wrong... ok tnx anyway i will try another rom.
I have tried other roms and the problem is still there... i guess on hardware problem but phone was ok with stock rom.

I have a serious issue with both my I9100 devices.
it suddenly freezes and requires reboot. when i do it, it stuck on boot screen (Where the yellow triangle would be if using unofficial firmware)
nothing helps, only wipe data. once I wipe, device loads fine and starts working again.
I tought at first its rom/kernel related, I switched everything and even tried stock rom.
it keeps happening...today, I tried to swap batteries as one got empty, I took the battery out of the stocked-rom device (after turning it off) and then later when i switched it on, it had to be wiped.
same as with my other device.
Anyone has any clue what this is about?

One device is on Neatrom 4.4 lite, the other stock-everything, both 4.1.2

u can just rewert to stock ICS 4.0.3 firmware on both the phones and check for the issue (whether its firmware related or any hardware issue as such)

1) with 403 for some time once again to ensure no issues of freezing.
2)then a different 4.1.2 stock/custom rom altogether to check for the same(freezing) issue.
stay for some time on those firmwares and see (may be one or two charge cycles).
3) do not install any mods on top of the firmware, just stay stock and see
One of the devices is already back to 403, while the second one on stock 412
the hardest thing to tell if 403 solves it or not, as it happens occasionally, once in a week or two.
I tried two different stock roms, so that would rule out #2.
The weird thing is that wiping data is enough.
data is separated from the rom itself, yet it causes the entire device not to boot anymore.

I use a stable 10.1.3 CM since a year on my S2. Lately the camera started to quit qorking: "can't connect to camera".
About this time the torch (LED app) app did the same thing: "unfortunately torch has stopped".
What I did: do a full data/cache/dalvik cache erase: factory reset.
The camera/torch still malfunctioning.
Then flashed the last nightly CM: cm11-20140429, but still no luck.
Then reflashed the old stable version, maybe if it'll work, but noooo.
Do you have any suggestion to resolve this issue? My phone is 2 years old, never had a problem with it. Until now.
Shall I flash something via Odin?
Is there a "deeper" way to rewrite the camera/LED firmware/code/whatever?
(I was wondering if flashing these 2 CM versions the appropiate firmware's aren't rewritten)

you can try more ROMs. However, there is a possibility that its a hardware issue.
The camera stopped working on my galaxy S1 after a factory reset.
I never did get it working again, and I tried about 4 different camera firmwares, flashing back to stock, and replaced the camera module too. Nothing worked.

Sorry to hear that.
I'm wondering now to replace the camera module as well.
I quickly tried this 3 ROM: aosb_kk_1.3.6_i9100, omni-4.4.4-20140728-i9100-NIGHTLY, Slim-i9100-4.4.2.build.5-OFFICIAL-4068, but with the same disappointig result: no camera, no LED.
If I first start LED/torch isntead of camera, the LED sometimes flashes:
I switch on, but nothing happens. Then switch it off: after a few sec delay the button will show the "off" state, and during this process the LED flashes for 1 sec.
I will try to revert to stock with odin, maybe...
The camera module is very easy to change. All you have to do is unplug it and plug a new one in.
You might be luckier than me.

Yes, but what if the same thing will appear? Ie. I'll change the camera module, but won't work.
Isn't there an easier way to check if surely the camera moduled is dead?
Btw I downgraded it to stock ROM via Odin, but camera still dead, so it is probably not a software error. :crying:
There's no way of telling if your camera module is broken without putting a new one in.
It didn't fix it for me though. And believe me when I say I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out.

at start I have to apologize for my worse english; haven`t written and spoken it for years.
I have an Z2 and rooted it a few weeks ago; after that I installed Cyanogenmod Recovery.
I`ve tried a few Custom Roms but the problem is always the same: It crashes after some time, when I am trying to start an App.
Mostly Ingress and Google Maps. Often they work fine, like 4-6 times, they start without any issues.
But one time it crashes.
It restarts instantly and often tells me I dont have a simcard or it disables the Bluetooth-Connection.
The only possibility is to restart it and after that it works fine... for a few hours till I try to restart an app.
Sometimes it hangs itself up in a boot loop and i have to use Power + Vol Down to get into Cyanogenmod Recovery, but after that the restart takes up to 15 minutes because he calibrates all the apps.
It seems that the problem doesn`t happen when I am using Wlan.
Everything else works fine, no problems, but it is really annoying.
Any ideas?

1. cyanogenmod recovery is sh*tty
2. install a pre-rooted stock rom or a modified one like eXistenZ Premium, MoonWalker epidemic or PureX
never had such issues with these roms
Yeah, i know its ****ty, but i cant enter the bootloader anymore; it always starts the recovery. So i cant remove it.
The other problem is, that i tried 4 different roms and the problem seems to appear in every rom.
So it seems to depend on something else.
I'm having the same exact issue except that I don't get into bootloops

The bootloops seems to appear only under Ressurection Remix; i've installed CM again and they didnt happen anymore.
But the problem, that it crashes and after a restart often didnt find my SIM, is still there...
I don't know about RR rom as I haven't tried it but I'm getting the reboots on CM

so I recently got the P9000 and I am very happy with it in General. There is just one big Problem, I am very used to Cyanogenmod on all my devices so I tried installing it in this phone, everything worked fine except for the microphone and the Speaker, Calls go through but I cant talk neither hear anything. Everytime I Start the phone it also says AudioFX was shut down. I also Tried listening to music or any sound for that matter but nothing works. I then installed the Stock ROM and everything works like a charm so I can rule out a Hardware issue. But the Stock ROM is just not cutting it for me in terms oft usability and options and I would much rather switch back to CM. Tried it again yesterday, clean install and everything, Microphone and Speaker are not working.... Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Any help greatly appreciated.

First of all thank you for the tip, in the meantime I installed Android 7 beta to have a look at it. Is there any way to go back to Stock ROM on Android 6 so I can install CM13 Final Build 3? I have tried flashing Recovery and STOCK ROM via SP Flash but it won`t work. I click Download, connect the phone while pressing the Vol+ and it says Downloading, goes up to 100% but the red bar is still there, then nothing happens. Every Flash of Stock or CM Recovery I did before that worked just fine so I guess it has something to do with Android 7. If there is no way I guess I`ll stick with Android 7 for now but I´d rather switch to CM.
There is a way...it has to do with the Android...it changes the preloader and the boot partition. Take this file from deepflex: https://yadi.sk/d/40K4mWLauUddk and flash with sp-tools. Finally flash the TWRP-Recovery from Jonny with flashtools. At the end do a full wipe and install the cm13.1 (Final 3) and the opengaaps.
Got it to work, I used a slightly different approach but right now I am finally installing CM13 Final Build 3, lets see if it works out fine! Thanks again for your help :good::good:
