LED notification in Stamina Mode - Xperia SP Themes and Apps

I brought the XSP a week ago, and I saw that if I set Stamina Mode, LEDs don't work.
I didn't find a thread that reports a solution, but I did a research: An Italian user requested here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2277768 the modification of Stamina apk for our device. There are two flashable files, the first with the Stamina icon in status bar, the second without it.
I personally tested it, and it works.
Sorry for my bad english, and sorry if I wrote it in the wrong section.

hi
another solution, if you stay (or downgrade with flashtool) in .257 u will not have this problem because this mod may not run stamina mod perfectly

I saw the bug after two days. Hope anybody can modify the mod, so we can see LED in Stamina Mode without problems.

Thanks

LEDs are ok in Stamina Mode, but then Stamina doesn't work perfecty... probably there's a bug.

Use application "illumination bar pro" .... This also worked on stamina mode... And all 3 lights up on notifications....
Even i found its much better than stock application...

Not available in India? What Bro?

So if i understood correctly the only way restore the LED bar notification in Stamina on 2.254 is to pay for illumination bar pro? Is there no way to implement the full and stable functionality from 1.257 to 2.254?

If you have rooted X SP go ----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45828347&postcount=11

on stock ROM 2.254 rooted deodexed with switched superstamina.APK the LED notifications still not working.

led notification fix for .254
There's no need to flash all these files and stuff to get illumination bar to work in stamina mode. All you need to do is enable the notifications in display settings but turn all the colours to none. then go to google play or (blackmart alpha :angel and obtain an app called illumination bar pro. when you have installed that, go to general settings in the app and change the device to xperia u. you can then select any colour for any app sms calls or e mails and that will work fine in stamina mode on the latest firmware. you can control how fast you want it to pulse, exactly what colour and also set up your own contacts to what happens when they call you. is there an easy way to make my phone charge whilst being turned off? I cant find the uk stock .254 any where

doesn't work for me though, no clue y... even excluded the app from stamina mode, but nothing will flash

Anyone tested the app Lightflow? It works perfectly for me, incliding in STAMINA mode. Besides you can control notification led colour, blink pattern and you can add sound and vibrations. It deals with all apps. Very interesting app.

I have the same question, i have spendt the last 2-3 hours now trying to find out how i enable MSC Mode,
it is not in the "Storage"-menu and it is not in the (Settings>Xperia>Connectivity>USB Connection Mode).
Simply it is not any "USB Connection Mode" in this menu, it was on my old Xperia Arc, but not on this Xperia S as everyone says!
I am trying to root my phone and cannot do anything until this i solved.
Can someone that know please help, and describe more detailed.
Someone say that you can Install CWM and install SU.zip, i cant understand at all what that means.. please.. details!:fingers-crossed:
There is an app on the apps section that enables MASS STORAGE MODE. Requires root, though.

[Q] Lightflow constant LED?

Hello everyone,
Okey when I had my Nexus and used the Lightflow app, and a certain notification popped up in the notification bar (that notification was setup in Lightflow with a blinking LED) with screen on it would also blink.
On my note2, if my screen is on and I get that notification, it doesn't blink. I have no idea why.
Anybody familiar with Lightflow? Any ideas how I can make Lightflow blink with screen on?
Sent from my AK-55
Have you checked out Lightflows settings to make sure that you have that checked? Also that may only be a option in the paid version of Lightflow. Im not very familiar with it but it should under settings I would think.
Edit:
Just treated it for myself and it works perfectly on the free version. Click on the app in you app drawer, click settings, enable root mode, enable Samsung mode, then set your apps up.
I tested it on a low battery and it wouldn't quit flashing or give me a notification to turn it off like it does with email and other apps so I had to set it to go off after one minute for the low battery warning. I think the only reason it didn't have a pop ip was because the battery was already at 9%. The light stayed on the entire time the screen was on also.

No problem, its a bit annoying when it wouldnt show the notification for the battery so you may have that problem in the future or it may just be cause I tested it with a low battery.

I started using an app called flashlight LED genius and there is an option that allows you to shake the phone while at the lock screen to enable the flashlight. Then to turn off you simply shake again, you can set sensitivity settings and duration in case it gets turned on accidentally. I have had no issues with it accidentally turning on as of yet. Works surprisingly well.
Wow thanks for that app. useful

I still wish someone would built it into a rom or flashable add-on that would all you to long press or double-tap the home button from the lock screen to activate the camera.
Check out my tutorial on the Tmo section. Will work for you too. Use the volume up to turn on flashlight.

You mean Nottach's mod? That most probably takes this function over. Now that's the trick is discovered, perhaps you can request he adds it to an update.

Shake on lockscreen option works fine for a while, then stops. Problem is noted in the app description in the Play Store but no ETA on a fix is mentioned. Too bad, when it works it's nice.
Anyone know of another flashlight app that can be reliably activated from the lock screen?

Using an app called Torchie, just press both 'volume buttons' together to turn on/off torch anytime. It runs as a background service and just works anytime, even when screen off (if enabled from Torchie Settings). It kinda make your phone feel like a conventional battery operated torch. No root required.

[Q] How to reset the status bar

Hi
yesterday I updated my SGS3 GTI9300 to the latest official 4.3 update.
The update progress worked fine with odin, but now I face a little problem.
In the status bar, the "eye" icon of the smart view feature is visible all the time. I know its cosmetic, it bothers me.
I guess it can be easily fixed if I clear the data & cache of the status bar apk...But I don't know which application it is.
Can somebody tell me how to fix it?

Most of the phones now have the smart stay icon permanently. (Even those running 4.1.2 like galaxy core, express, etc) It was just our S3 that wasnt like this during its 4.1.2. days.
Thats just an indication the smart stay is active and u can disable it from the notif bar.
However if you still cannot tolerate it then u can do some ROM editing of your own. IMO its not worth the hassle :/

[Q] X-Reality Option

I have a question regard this option.
I have stamina mode enabled and this option is enabled as well, but sometimes this option will turn off by itself and I don't know why and what I cause for it.
I don't think that stamina mode will cause it because I turn the option on again and live the phone on standby in stamina mode for a few hour and didn't turn off but sometimes it will do it by itself and it's noting that you can guess about time or what it cause for it.
If anyone knows why, please let me know.
Same here, I decided to automatically use my finger to tick on back the
