Guys i have playing dark avenger from 2 months and i have facing big problem.
The problem is that whenever i change my rom all the progress is lost. (please don't tell me to use titanium backup because i have tried it and its useless in this situation.)
The game has server backup option. But after changing rom i can't restore my data frim server because it can't identify me as there previous user.
The game doesn't have user id system.
Hope u get the point what i am saying.

Backup the apk and data also of the app using titanium backup or system cleanup (fully free) and try restoring it using the app when changing Roms it should save your progress, apparently the game might be assigning a hidden user id every fresh install and it will obviously change every fresh install.

How to backup touchwiz folders and icons

Hello guys! I've been formatting my phone more frequently as of lately as I've been trying roms, and I'd like to know is there a way to backup the icon order or folders or anything like that? It's kind of a pain putting all my icons back in order and such every time! I'm not rooted. Is there a way? Thanks
Some launchers have the ability to save the layout, launcher pro and adw come to mind, doubt the stock one can.

Just got to be a little clearer to exactly what you need, so Users wishing to help don't waste their time

You have to root if you wanna use Titanium Backup
I think other app or other solution you still need to root cause you have to mass with system app(touchwiz) so you need root.

Probably ROM fault. I've experienced similar thing about inability to install apps that worked previously on other ROMs. Did you wipe Dalvik cache?

ah no!! But hoe do I backup Swype keyboard I can't backup through titanium backup or Astro Cuz it doesn't work after restore !!!!
What happens when you try to do a restore? Which ROM was last that allowed to use Swype?
I face this problem every time I used to restore via Astro file manger's backup and now it doesn't work after installation or restoration it doesn't start at all if u press any input field (same used to happen with titanium backup)!!!I used to cyanogenmod official version and now dynamite!!! Hey I need native gallery app so where do I find it cuz I don't like quick Pic app!!
Try other ROMs or other Swype type keyboards.
I don't recommend stock gallery, but if you really need, here try this It should work

[SXS][ROOT]titanium backup safe?

Hij guys ,i've heard a lot about titanium backup some people give positive feedback and some say that IT breaks your phone ,does anybody have problems with titanium backup ?,if please post them here:thumbup:
Thanks in advance

Definitely it does not break your phone, this works pretty good exept for some data saved eg. Email accounts dissapear..
It works fine
Has only positive experience with Titanium Backup with my earlier telephone, but have not used it on my SXS yet. I have just rooted it recently and have not decided what to do next. But I am sure I will use Titanium for backup.
Just get it, the first app I aver bought. Totally worth it.
been using titanium backp with my phone and tablet, no worries here.
Thanks Guys for your help:thumbup:

It is also so much more than app backup.. It is also for messages .. If you change phone or rom...
And it saves time with download of data

it is called SamsungWidget_favoriteApp.apk
you can delete using ROOTEXPLORER or with Titanium backup...
The problem is that I have no app in that name on my Rom. I am using Wanamlite 3.6. I have checked both on my titanium backup and root explorer. No app with that name.
But thanks for your reply.

Best restore apps method?

Upgrading to new roms is a pain, because it takes a lot. For people who work or italian students that have to study 229 pages of literature for the next week, this is often a pain.
I am looking for the quickest way to put all my stuff on a newer rom (im on 4.1.1 stock rooted, gonna upgrade to foxhound)...ive searched the web and fastest way seems to be titanium backup...that's good and all...but it doesnt convince me too much.
Is it possible to just restore data fron a nanadroid backup?
Or tell how you manage to do it, and what the most efficient way you think might be...

TB pro
or the newer Carbon .
Data only from Nandroid yes .
Flash new rom boot recovery restore data only works 99% of the time .
Only problem can be the odd app conflict or a conflict if you move from ICS to JB .

Could do that with a micro sd, plus in italy internet connections are low speed, so it would be a total waste of time and broadband to have it sync thru wifi...

I believe titanium backup pro is best method, cause restoring just data on foxhound made it crash.
Plus carnon seems to be not as much developed as tb...

yeah, or you could do it with a click of a button, see which one's more convinient.
Local syncing does not use any traffic, it syncs locally.
but if you've already made up your mind I guess there's no point in asking.

Titanium back up I believe it does one app at the time and then I have to keep on giving it permissions, is it just me? Nandroid back up is an "image" of the actual ROM, data, settings etc. so if you try it, you would go back to previous rom, etc.
