Return to stock - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

Hi, I have been searching for almost a week now and i just can't find my RUU file, i need 1.29.111.11.
It's mainly that or i need to know how to update my phone because i can't update it to 4.2.2, since each time i download and try to install the
update, the phone will restart and boot up twrp.
So maybe someone knows a way around all of that, but i really hope someone can atleast just help me.
Thanks in advance.

Well its either that you flash a new radio, like KB5 or try toggling flight mode. That worked for me when I had ICS.

lol, if all it is is toggling airplane mode I am going to punch myself in the face.
I'll try again.
I had this same problem with the aokp milestone six. The only way for me to fix it was for me to use a linario build

what is a "linario" build? Can you link me to one that worked for you?
All I want is a stable ICS ROM to run on this thing....
I have never used a Vibrant before, I am doing this for a friend and I am kinda playing it by ear. This phone is so crazy, coming from a Galaxy Nexus this thing is so complicated, lol.
airplane mode thing didn't work, it cannot find network.
It is doing this with any 4.0+ ROM I try, and every time I flash a new ROM it keeps changing recoveries on me, I've gone thru like 5 recoveries...
Not only that but half the ROMs won't flash, and I cannot find a GB ROM to try out to see if I can get radio working again.
And how the hell do I get into download mode? vol dn + Power just bootloops the splash screen.
This phone is so insane.

Download mode is first holding both volume buttons then inserting the USB in while holding then down.

Thanks a bunch man, here goes nothing.
I got into a bootloop of Doom in recovery, so ODINed stock 2.2, now I have to root/flash again :s will report back
sigh....
did an Odin stock flash, used the toolbox to root, then used the toolbox to "flash custom ROM" selected this ROM,
it starts to flash then reboots, then gets into a recovery mount error, and restart loop, so now my recovery is borked, looks like i have to Odin AGAIN.
Is there a better way to flash this ROM than the toolbox? I feel like it's using a bad version of CWM or something. Once i root it, what do I do?
edit: I'm going to Odin stock while I wait for reply
Usually when you get into a boot loop all you have to do is go back into recovery in reflash the rom. that should take care of the problem but if it doesent you can always just re wipe and reflash the rom again then reeboot recovery and flash again. don't forget to flash the gapps I c s version

I can't get recovery to load, it crashes and reboots. the actual recovery got borked.
maybe I'm missing something here?
From stock 2.2 I go to root -> flash custom blah, it flashes/loads cwm and I do the ROM.zip thing, then bam recovery is borked...
If you odined back it should have taken away root so you would need to reinsrall packages. Km not gonna be able to help anymore till around d four. Sorry I have band camp

why not just set up ubuntu in vbox?
ERM...you MIGHT just get better results in a forum actually dedicated to Ubuntu. Usually, those issues occur with older broadcomm WiFi chips, which may be what you have, you should check (Google is your friend). It shouldn't be too hard to fix it, but I silent a week a few years ago trying tofix it just bbecause I wasn't patient enough for it to scan for networks.
This is a galaxy player forum ... it seems that the mod here is pretty nice...

You should post your wi-fi card model if you want us to be able to help. Without this info we can't do much except recommand you to check in computer setting > software source > additional driver. I know sometime there is a firmware wich need to be installed from there for some broadcom card. Hope this help you.

HTC one X OTA on 3 network

Hello,
My girlfriend has this phone on the 3 network and hasn't received the OTA update released a few days ago.
Could someone provide a link to the correct file needed to flash and the correct hboot? I have had a look but there's a fair few different version and I don't want to mess it up.
I have previous experience with flashing and using adb so I'm just looking for a quick guide to follow.
Much appreciated for any advice
Andy.

Bounty: Flex ROM for Verizon g2

Hey everyone. I have attempted to build a working flex ROM for Verizon g2. Had a bootable ROM but had no working 4g data. Attempted to make ROM work with appropriate files to get data working but now it won't boot. Why. I don't know. I have asked for help from other builders for all the other variants with no response from them except for a very general point in the proverbial direction to no avail. @MicroMod777 of the awesome digital dream ROM in the Verizon forum has assisted me as well as @krazie1. @T.C.P and @Jeff Zaugg. So basically I am looking for someone to help resolve our issues. I would even be willing to come up with donations accordingly for time and knowledge to resolve these issues or even to just build a working ROM to share with the masses. Thank you all in advance for your time. ROM ON!!!!!

I don't even have my bootable base anymore. Forgot to make copy before I started modding it to get data working. Unfortunately I got work tomorrow. If I can get an uploaded bootable ROM then I can work on what isn't working. Sure wish there was a android kitchen for lg g2 to attempt doing this the way I would prefer. Plus this is effectively the first ROM in which I am doing this. Usually just editing and modding other Roms for myself. Hope I'm not biting of more than I can chew.

We started with a flex ROM and changed boot img libs/modules. Etc /permissions pertaining to Verizon also a build prop edited for it. Basically got a booting ROM with no data. Originally that was with tangjuns ROM. Then I tried starfighters and couldn't get it to boot. Now one of us is trying rayglobe. But we would defiantly love to have your help to get this off the ground. I asked in your thread about a Verizon version of aeon flux. Just trying to get some of these great Roms for our phones. Some of you said you were having trouble getting the flex Rom to boot.
These are the steps i've taken:
In Android Development there is a thread by Tangjun269.
On page 13 of thread is a rom called Flex_Rayglob.zip 952.3 mb
I downloaded this rom it's got Gapps baked in and has the ugly black around the icons removed witch I think looks better.
I use root explorer to extract rom then I replaced these items from any one (your choice) of the stock rooted 12b builds in the Verizon section:
Extracting each one from 12b and dropping into extracted flex rom.
Boot.ing
META-INF
etc/apns-conf.xml
Lib/modules
Now zip rom, boot into recovery back up and flash.

No go tried contacts and phone.
if we can get these two jars to framework and actually boot, it might work.
/framework/com.verizon.settings.jar"/>
/framework/com.verizon.phone.jar"/>
everytime i flash them, or push them, the phone wont boot :/
I think we might have more luck if we disabled signature checks. That might be causing issues of being able to switch the apks over. I don't remember if you disable this In android policy.jar or services.jar

[Q] (Q) Device status Custom...from OTA??

So I have a rather interesting situation. I got my phone through preorder like many others did, and got a 27th stability update right away. I installed it, used the device for a while. Later in the day I went into download mode to see if my phone said anything about being bootloader- locked.
The funny thing is that now, device status shows as custom, and updates fail due to "unauthorized" changes, which were never made
So my question: can that be fixed without wiping device? What do u think triggered that? Booting into DL even if I didn't do anything else?
Thanks for your help in advance!
