Brightness gesture - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
Does anyone know how if there is a way to increase / decrease the brightness of the screen by using a finger gesture?
Like a 2 finger swipe or such...
Thanks!

I think the feature is available in PAC-Man Carbon 4.3 ROM.
Cheers.

On many off the newer JB roms.. there is a built in gesture for brightness on the statusbar.. you slide you're finger back and forth on the status bar to increase and decrease brightness..

The feature is actually available in SGT7 4.3 ROM. Kindly pardon my earlier mistake.

[Q] ICS Touch key light duration settings

I miss having the option to light the touch keys only in the dark. Anybody know if there are any mods to get this option back in ICS?

(Q) AOKP make notifications even?

What I mean is is it possible to make the notifications evenly spaced, rather than having them start from the left, so if I'm only using 2 it looks strange? Thank you,

Brightness bar in notification center?

Is there any apps that do this? I know that the Galaxy S3 does, but can any android phone do this? Thanks for the help!

I have been looking for something similar for a while. But havnt found anything yet. There used to to be a mod for cm9 but it is not longer available.
If you dont mind switching roms. Aokp ones have this feature.

Any free apps like that or anyway to get that for free? I don't have a way to pay for that yet.

This is the free app
[EDIT] And this app doesn't even require root access unless you want to disable the stock status bar completely

But to get the brightness widget you have to have premium.

You can adjust the brightness by sliding your finger on the statusbar in CM9, CM10 and other ROM's. Enable it in the statusbar settings (CM9/10), and disable automatic brightness.

Moved to correct sub forum.
I figured it out! The app "Notification Toggles" does the job.

Question about PIE

I am wondering if there is a current ROM available that has PIE AND the ability to remap the buttons on it instead of the default (menu, recent, search, etc).
I believe it was Paranoid Android that had that feature but it looks like that thread isn't being updated. I also tried PACman ROM but didn't see any way to change the buttons.
Thanks in advance!

Just Google LMT. Download the apk. If your rooted, install it on any rom you want. You will have the options to change the button assignments. I'm running it on the Eclipse touch wiz rom. But like hexitnow said it's baked in to Hyperdrive.
