Install Instructions
1) For Album, Movies, Walkman and Account Manager: Move SemcMusic.apk & sneiaccountmanager.apk to system/app and give permissions.
2) For Music Unlimited & Video Unlimited: Install them as normal app.
Music Unlimited app isn't necessary to connect Music Unlimited on Walkman app but you can also connect Music Unlimited as separately

If Sony Entertainment Services (Music Unlimited, Video Unlimited, PlayMemories etc.) isn't available on your country follow this steps...
Music Unlimited isn't available in my country too but, I was able to connect it :laugh:
For this,
1) Be sure you installed the Sony Account Manager. If you connect it before with your non-available account, remove it and clear datas.
2) Open here and click "Start free trial"
3) Create a new account but select your Country/Region as United Kingdom or United States ( I don't know any other country which is available on music unlimited)
4) Open Walkman app and connect music unlimited. That's it :victory::victory:
I am using Poweramp for a long time.. But want to try this new Walkman..

A little help needed..
Installed the new walkman... its awsom now.. no need for poweramp...
The problem is i am in a unlocked bootloader.. i deleted some bloatwares before.. Now my edit music info is not working.. any help? i need download music info back..
Pls help if anybody can....

It will never work again. After unlocking the bootloader DRM keys are lost FOREVER if you didn't make a backup. Each phone has unique DRM keys, so don't try to flash another phone's keys because it will hard brick your phone.
After losing DRM keys, BRAVIA Engine or X-Reality will not work anymore.

Ha ha bro i dont care about bravia.. But u know Download music info will work 100% in unlocked bootloader... I am searching for a SemcMetaDataCleanup.apk for that...
How to install walkman? Albulm and movie worked. But walkman isnt showed. I pushed it and corrected permission

What?? There is no connection with this mod and ur Bravia Engine mate.. U will lost ur Bravia Engine only if u Unlock Ur Bootloader.. In ur stage ur in a Locked Bootloader.. So dont worry.. Go ahead

I downloaded ur apk and pushed to System/app with right permission.. But after reboot i cant find Download music info in Settings/app/all apps.. still Edit music info and Download Album art is not working... help needed

jar file to system/framework
so file to system/lib
Oh, all the apks work, but the Visualizer keeps getting FC. Switched back to the stock one and it worked. I've placed all files on their correct places. Any idea?

Many, many thanks for this port,i have unlocked bootloader, and absolutely everything works including download music info and fb music likes. This is the best and most complete NXT Walkman port. Many thanks,again .Procedure that i've followed: flash Thilina's Walkman v 7.5,then flash Pranav's Walkman v 6.Delete semc metadata cleanup.apk from system/app and replace it with the one provided in the OP. Flash Media App.zip, wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot.Also Facebook and Picasa pictures are shown in album.PS: I'm using stock 587 with unlocked bootloader via official way ( Sony website)

Hi, newbie here. Just rooted my acro S. Do I have to install a specific ROM for me to be able to install these apps or I simply just push them to the system? How do we push an app to the system by the way? Do I have to delete for example the stock Album app and then paste the Honami Album app then change the permission? Should the permision be r--rw-r--?

hah! thats not that easy
1. install a rom that fits u (i mean give u the best xperience), simple there 2 kinds of roms: stock based & cm(cyanogenmod)/aosp/.. based roms.
2. now if u want some app like here u must see that it fits ur rom (read the threads 1st site mostly there is a desription if it work on stock, cm -based rometc.)
(i prefer u some stock-based rom as is easier to port new sony apps) (also some roms have this apps inside...)
pushing apps to system, can be done by few ways, the simplest is flashing a (flashable-) zip through CWM recovery., the manual method u described obove is a another way. but u have to make sure u using root explorer or such to be able to write in system/
(and u not have to delete the apk before, bcuz if its same name i will overwrite it simply... but u can do this of course...)
for all (mostly) all apps,files in system set permissions like this:

After flashed the White settings with Honami Framework i am in love with White apps.. I searched a lot for some white apps and i got lot of.. Here i am sharing Some White Media Apps that works fine with our Xperia SP
Please note that these apps are not from Honami. This is taken from Xperia S JB. Not from Honami... Nees root acces to install this...

well I must have mistaken there something really stupidly...
I think I found this thread linked in xperia S forum or so... i even wondered to read rajeevs name there... Maybe @Rajeev could include calendar and clock here (as he knows beniamin24 apparently???) and i could completely wipe my thread?

I will add that two apps here soon with permission... The problem is they are Honami Apps.. People will confuse... I will do it later...

Its working fine here mate.. U have to move it to System/app with right permission .. Make sure u do the permission correctly ... RW R R
And then reboot ur phone...

Superuser Mod may be required for stock ROMS.

Known Bugs:
1)I found out a bug,Walkman closes when clicking on playlist.
Solution: open settings-apps-all search for download music info force stop it and disable it. Now you can open playlists.

Some Issues with jb 4.1 ,But have a try ,its working on some devices
Reporting in from CM 11 on Xperia P. The app is running fine except for visual glitches. The new UI looks good. Pinch to zoom is a nice add-on feature.

Try using the old walkman widget by manually installing it or by pushing it to system/app and setting permissions.
Make sure u are using honami launcher..
