Zenus N3 Cases - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

:highfive: my fav Gnote case has been the Zenus Air Capsule. did they make them for the Gnote2? i hope they makem for the GN3 :good:
http://izenus.com/smart-phones/galaxy-note-3.html
and some other flip cases i found:

http://www.casefanatic.com/samsung-...etui-diary-galaxy-note-3-meifeng-jeans-motif/

cool, but to me the phone is big enough, I hate putting something on it that makes it even bigger. I go with a screen protector and a rear battery cover that's somewhat custom and not standard looking.
those ones you linked makes me think people who need those, might aswell buy a tablet with a cover.

that's cool for you. alot of us need the extra protection and don't care about size, that's cool for us. this thread is for us

[Q] Best TPU(ish) Case "thin and light" - Poll

Ok, so i've see a lot of great threads on cases and some really good reviews too and now my OCD is starting to kick in.
Which case is the best? I'm looking for something durable, light, and thin. Preferably TPU or some sort of soft and flexible material NOT silicone.
Pretty much i'm looking for the same case as what i had on my captivate, the mirage by bodyglove.
I've got a few different cases that i'm trying to decide between but i'm having a problem making the final decision.
I'm asking YOU, fellow SGS2-ers, to help me decide. Place your vote and leave a note (hey that rhymes!) and i will be sure to post a detailed review of the case if one hasn't been made already (or contribute to one that already exists)!
Thanks!
Here are the cases i am considering, in no particular order..

I know a couple of these cases do not meet my own requirements but i have included them for the sake of others who might be considering the same.
And off we go!
Great roundup you've got there. I have the TPU-Case and love it, but hard to say it's the best without trying the others.
I would certainty recommend it though!
I've got the case mate barely there bushed aluminum and I really like it. I didn't think I would but I'm so. It's nice and thin and covers the phone well. It adds a little weight but to me it actually makes the phone feel better.

mine already broke by the volume rocker and the aluminum dents REALLY easily, its a very nice case though
I have this Incipio case:
http://www.myincipio.com/Samsung-Ga...-II-ATandT-NGP-Semi-Rigid-Soft-Shell-Case.asp
It is very nice quality, and fits perfectly. It does however have an small cutout for the international version's lanyard. It is really small though, so not too big of a problem. Some of the ones I have seen have the whole corner cutout for the international version (Ringke cases had this problem, which is why I did not choose that one). That seems like a huge problem to me, since if you drop it, the entire corner is exposed.
Hope this helps
I also have the Incipio and while it fits great (I did modify it to make a hole for the NC Mic), I'm not liking the extra effort required to turn the phone on or off. That action is already difficult enough with no case, but it's made even more difficult with the NGP.
Thanks for bringing to light this Incipio case. I just bought it. It looks like they fixed the problem with covered NC microphone. Now the cutout for it looks huge to fit AT&T and International version. Maybe they improved power button as well.

Thanks for linking that case, i haven't seen that one yet. I'll take a closer look at it and see if i can find a detailed review.
A quick google search led me to this good video review of the Incipio NGP (a TPU case). Looks to be a little dated though, the model they show on the Incipio webpage has a larger cutout for the NC mic and a color they didn't mention in the video. Still worth a look though.
Here's the video link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPJG6NEgj-M
I have a rearth case and am loving it, doesn't add much thickness or weight at all, u get 15 colors to choose from, doesn't collect dust, and has the hole for the 2nd mic. Overall very happy with this case.

I would like to see something come out in carbon fiber, like the Element Ion or Formula, but Element only does iPhone cases.

In all my searching i have yet to find a true carbon fiber case. I've seen plenty of cases with a carbon fiber "design" but they are just regular TPU or skins.
Take a look at these if you just want that industrial look..

I was heavily considering the Rearth Ringke but i read about some people having trouble with the case splitting apart on them due to small drops (see the Ringke thread here) and i decided to go with the SGP Ultra Capsule instead. I might also pick up the TPU-Case from Amazon just for the sake of having something to compare the SGP against.
I get super slow shipping so i'll put some pictures up in a week or so.

My review of the Incipio NGP case

Below you will find my pics of this case that I just got in. It's the first AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II case advertised by Incipio.
Unfortunately when I opened up the packaging, I realized right away that they seem to have lazily relabeled the international product. Notice in the screenshots that the included screen protector has a cut at the bottom for the physical button, but this does not exist on the US version.
Also the case itself has an extra cutout for I believe what is the microphone on the international version right above the volume buttons, but there is nothing there on the US version on AT&T.
Other than the lazy nonsense outlined above, the case fits perfectly and all other holes line up nicely. I still recommend this case to anyone, but if you want a screen protector I recommend you order one separately as this one will have an annoying cut out at the bottom, not giving you full protection.
The case is also relatively thin, and doesn't add much bulk to the phone at all. It doesn't have a rubber feel to it and slides easily into my jeans pocket. One negative about the smoothness of this case is that I feel like it can too easily slip out of my hand.
If anyone has any questions about this case let me know and I'll tell you what I can. Here are the pics:
Looks slick. Man I feel like I waste a ton of money just on cases alone haha. I might pick it up. I've got a plain black TPU slick case and 2 Ballistics Cases. Hopefully I like this one enough to stick with it.
And yes screen protectors suck lol. I don't think we really one tbh. These gorilla glass screens are pretty indestructible.

Why No Leather Case?

Pardon my rant...
Is it so much to ask for a leather case that does NOT have a cover? I just want a nice, simple, slim leather case that is nothing more than a case. I really don't understand why there are hundreds of leather wallet or flip cases, some look as if they even have the nice looking case I want (only attached to a cover) but I have yet to find one single nice leather case. Apple themselves sells a gorgeous and simple leather case for their devices and it irks me that I am pretty much stuck with TPU bugdroid or polycarbonate as my choices for a slim and simple case.
Anyone finding anything I haven't?

Wow, the last time I saw Noreve come up they only had the flip/wallet case and pouches available. The back case (first link in your post) is new to me, and looks... pretty damn close to what I've hoped for. Thanks for the timely reminder!
EDIT: Just did a quick dive through YouTube and am a little skeptical about how accurate the renders on the site are with respect to the thickness of the case along the edges, and specifically how disruptive the cut-out portions might be.
There's a review of the iPhone 6 back case that shows just how chunky the sides are, and if you compare it against how the same product is rendered on Noreve's website, there's a pretty huge visual difference. And in my opinion the thickness on video looks a lot less attractive.
Anyhow, it might be mitigated somewhat by the relatively larger footprint on the Nexus 6, but I kind of don't feel like dropping ~$35 to test it :\
Yeah that case looks wayy too chunky.. the case should just be a thin layer of leather glued to polycarbonate.
You can always do what @Pilz did (and I later copied him). Get yourself one of them real Horween leather back skins from @slickwraps and slap it onto a Spigen case. Pilz has photos all over this forum of how good it looks. I have two cases, one with dark leather and one with distressed tan leather (my favorite), and rock them both. Nothing better than the smell of real leather!
I bought this off ebay for 2.99. I love it. Took a few weeks to arrive though...

Thats not real leather, and the quality seems to be pretty bad. many of those photos show fibers coming out from under the ring cutout for the camera, for several different colors.
I like this leather case, been using it for a few months now, it's relatively thin:

has anyone ever found in the US what the original poster describes?
i am looking for a case that is only a back made of leather. i do not want a skin
Just letting everyone know that I ordered one of the leather cases off of Noreve. I will update when I receive it, and will post pictures.

My Opinon on the Orzly Case Line

Disclaimer : I do not benefit in any way for saying anything good or bad about these products. I am giving you guys my honest opinion on these cases to help provide some assistance on buying a case.
Let’s start with the first case I bought from them.
Orzly Flexicase (Clear)
Link to the case: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072MZCQB6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_dp_T1_v8mFzb704M66R
Price :£12.99
Things I like: Simple case, adds much need grip to the OnePlus5. Doesn't detract from the overall phones aesthetic or feel. , Good lip around the camera bump and the front.
Things of concern: It's a simple case, it's mainly there to prevent scratches. Not going to protect your phone from anything major
Comments: I really like this case, there is a craft to a making something simple and effective and this is it. No fancy features it just protects your phone from scratches, adds grip and protects from small drops. It doesn't over stay it's welcome and I congratulate on that.
I was happy with my purchase at the price I paid but since it has gone down. I think anyone wanting a simple case you can't really go wrong with this.
Also like to note, I haven't had problems with any holes in the case. Some people on other forums have asked me about the quality of the finish. No evident problems with the finish of my case.

Orzly Wallet Case (Black)
Link to the case : https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072QV1VRT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_dp_T1_qInFzbCVEWP0X
Price: £14.99
Things I like: Protects the screen while it’s closed, Magnet keeps the wallet closed well, Effective card slots and pocket slot, Effective stand, I like the case that holds the phone in the wallet, not too bulky.
Things of concern: It’s a wallet case, people either love them or hate them.
Comments: I had this case for my HTC 10 and they have improved this case immensely. Now having three card slots instead of two allows me to take my bank card, ID and my public transport card without having to double up in the slots (That can create further issues). The main issue with last years was the case that held the phone in place. Last year was a hard shell, now throughout my time working with phones, more than half of wallet cases I have seen have broken inner shells because they use a hard shell inside. This year they have basically taken the great Flexicase design and used it as the holder for the wallet case. That was a great move and make the wallet case great.
For a wallet case, this is a solid wallet case. You can’t really go wrong with it.

Orzly Slim Stand Case
Link to the case : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B073S7BWQQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Price:£12.99
Things I like: THIS THING IS SLIM, the case itself may be the lowest profile case I have used on the OnePlus5, The stand can withstand a lot, stand can be rotated in different ways.
Things of concern: This case may not work with some in-car phone holders, the stand bulges out and made it hard for my vent holder to hold it.
Comments: I picked up this case because I was intrigued. I didn’t think I would like it but I really did! The case has a really nice soft touch finish and provides protection for the camera bump which is surprising as the case is really low profile , it provides a very small lip on the front so it may or may not protect the phone from if you put your phone screen down. The case doesn’t really take much away from the buttons which is nice.
The ring stand is really handy, A couple of times I’ve used it. I do find myself playing with the ring stand itself and hanging my phone off my finger, the case fits very well I can trust that my phone will stay there hanging. The stand really is quite strong. I can put a lot of force on the stand and it didn’t feel like it would break, (I have posted a video demoing that) The things I would say is that I would like the stand to have different standing points, it would be nice to have the phone to stand at different angles, while this isn’t a major thing, I thought I’d point it out.
I really like this case, nuff said.

Orzly Fusion Case
Link to the case : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B072MPYX9Y/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Price: £9.99
Things I like: Not bulky, feels like it would protect the case.
Things of concern: Can’t think of anything…
Comments: This is the case I have on my OnePlus5, I really like it. It’s like the FlexiCase but better. This honestly feels like this case has been designed by someone who’s wanting a make a case for themselves. There is extra grip points around parts of the case which your hand is in contact with. That’s a smart move. There is some little feet on the back around the clear back, this is a expert level move from Orzly, clear plastic scratches easily by doing this the plastic clear back from the ground. The clear back is quite hard and seems like it could withstand a drop, this is the motto of this case: it’s solid.

Comments About Orzly
One thing I have noticed is Orzly has revamped their packaging. It’s more like you would see in a shop and has nice little touches to them. Having a little tab to pull to open the box and having nice information (To read on the toilet obviously) adds to the over. Here is some photos : http://imgur.com/a/vZ4eu
Please ask any questions and if this helped someone, if you liked it I may do more.
Thanks so much for this. I agree with the flexicase and slim case, both have been great for me and I have already used the stand on the slim case for a train journey. Worked out great. I am looking forward to receiving my fusion bumper case from the reviews both you and niijonodhg have been giving!
Thanks for your review. Can't decide between slim stand and fusion case. I don't like a lot of bulk as the phone itself isn't the smallest one and I like to keep the look of it. Generally I'm very very careful with my phones but
Unfortunately I already cracked my screen (first time ever). Currently in repair.

Ouch hopefully you get it back soon! As for the slim case, it has virtually no screen protection but the stand is very useful and it is also a grippy case. You can put your finger in the ring part while your using it to help you stop dropping it.
I've made your decision even harder

Yes you do make it harder ?. I never used cases mainly for protection but more for the extra grip but dropping my OP5 makes me reconsider this. But when I dropped it I didn't have any case installed so it was pretty slippy. Maybe I try both cases as they are not that expensive .

Getting both of them might be a good option. My favorite is the fusion but the slim case is really good. The slim case adds grip to the phone without much bulk or extraprotection where as the fusion is really grippy as well as adding more protection.

Yeah the stand feature for me is a must. Personally I prefer the Wallet Case version, as it's got that extra bit of screen protection with the fordable lid. But they're all nice in different ways.

Just received my Orzly Fusion today and have to say: that thing is amazing! Adds minimal bulk but seems to be good protection. And the best thing is that it adds so much grip to the phone and makes it really comfortable to use.

I also received mine today and I completely agree with everything.
I had the Ringke case on my Nexus 6P, which had the same type of back plastic and I know for a fact it does not yellow over time.
I also have a dBrand skin on my phone, and the case fit perfectly over it with no hassle at all. Dragon Skin with Orange Logo and Camera Cutout.
I also have the Orzly Tempered glass installed and the case fits perfectly around the glass as it should... Since it's from the same company.

Galaxy Fold cases found on UK site

Heres a look at some of the cases that will be coming out for this phone. Allegedly there will be a case included when you buy the phone as well. I wonder if they will even bother with screen protectors for the inside display.
Not sure that I like those. It looks like they have a bit to cover the hinge so when its open there's a bulge on the back so it won't lay flat.
I think the included kevlar case will do the job to be honest.
Although I did notice slickwraps.com have skins for the Fold. I've had a few for other phones and they're pretty good quality. Pretty much the same as other skins I've tried.

Yeah was just thinking about that. You know, you won't really even need a screen protector for the inside screen. It's already protected when not in-use since it'll be folded up.
This new form factor is really gonna shake up things for the accessories market.
