No forum for some devices. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330 and when I came here, to xda, I didn't find a forum for this device. I know it's not a great phone but i needed some help with it.

For these types of devices typically the android general section is where they all culminate to unfortunately, generally speaking though, most people here can assist with most problems for many devices.

You probably need to update your forum list. From the main forums tab hit menu, refresh.

Visit the Official T-Mobile Galaxy S2 thread

Home screen apps delete themselves.

Let me start off by saying its the short cuts and not the entire app that gets deleted. And its only been the ones in the app tray at the bottom of the screen that get deleted. If anyone has a fix or suggestions thats would be great. Or even if someone has the same problem we could compare and norrow down the problem. Im on galaxy s3, jelly bean, rooted.

That's bad, because questions don't belong in the general section
Flash a new rom.. Smth is missing from ur current rom.. If it persists claim ur warranty and head to samsung repair center..

You should be in the SGH-1747 forum unless your phone is indeed an I9300 .
Firmware / modifications from here will brick your phone .

sorry everybody so sorry. i just got to a pc i see I'm in a I specific forum. the app on my phone does not show that. pretty big thing to leave out unless i was seeing it wrong but i don't think so its pretty basic. yes i do want the i747 forum for sure. and once again sorry for everything.

fake version? galaxy S III GT-i9300

so i purchased a s3 on craigslist. the camera its kind of funny and the rom seems more like a generic rom without any s app how could i find out if the phone is fake or not? and if it's possible to install clean rom from this forums for this version.
thanks in advance.
Sounds like whoever sold you the phone sold it to you with some sort of custom Rom. I would suggest you look under your about phone, and let us know what it says there.

First question you should ask is how much you paid for it because if the price is too good to be true the device is probably not a legit one, also from lookong at the about phone screen that is either some rom I havent seen or poss a fake
Also this should noy be in this forum area try closing this down and request it is moved to either general or q&a

By reading the faq and using search button >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=how to be a senior member <<
Xda is all about reading and understanding imagine it as a library and your looking for information look and search and pick the thread/sticky (book) that you want to read and study it until you fully understand what it means. I have been a member for over 4 years and have never once started a thread why? Because everything I have needed to know is found using the search button...:good:
