will do..decided to test-out the Maw2607's stock first to see if battery drain has improved.

So figure out what's keeping your phone awake and stop it. That isn't typical of the rom. Of course I have no idea what your "usual use" is either.
Thanks. That's what I'm trying to do but failed so far. Usual for me is my regular use of the phone (web calls text) wherever ROM i maybe. For me to be able to tell the difference.

Yes.
Up and running, almost everything works, camera, etc. GPS didn't work at first, cleared cache and dalvik, fixed permissions and it's working fine. Only thing I can't get working is the nav bar, set it up, enabled it, rebooted, no nav bar. I get by without it easy enough tho'. Can't find the "long press to kill app", and some of the aokp settings aren't there yet, but overall fast, smooth, and fully functional.
Got it up and running fine, no extension rename needed. Love AOKP! Only thing better would by hybrid version

the vibrate when ringing option still unchecks, but it does vibrate. same as before.

The vibrate when ringing doesn't stay checked when going back into sounds but can confirm it sticks and works great
Running silky smooth. Only issue is one I had on cm to which is browser closing randomly. No fc and if I reopen my tabs are still there. Chrome works fine.

I verified that unlinking Notification and phone volume does in fact work. I tested both linked and unliked and achieved the expected behavior. I did see one issue though. The "link mute states" toggle is centered when it looks like it should be left justified.

just a minor layout issue. it's since been fixed. I thought I did a build after I fixed that.

Don't moan just want a simple answer, can I flash over stock and keep ally apps and settings? I wanna flash aokp but I really can't be bothered to wipe it completely and reinstall apps and redo settings etc
