I'm currently using the latest build of crDROID (4.3). The camera is working fine and when I view a picture in gallery, it looks crystal clear. The problem occurs after I send a picture through messaging. The picture then looks pixelated upon viewing it. Is there a setting that I am missing? I've used other roms and not had this issue.

I flashed CM7 build 10 yesterday in anticipation of mostly everything working including MMS. Picture messages did indeed work, but the video messages were only a single frame from the video it was supposed to be and the vid would not play. Is that normal for our current version of CM7?

what the **** is going on in Google? We have XXI century, ultra HD displays but photo contact pictures are still at very low resolution.
It was said JB finally fixes it and we can have up to 720p contact picture.
I made a test, I set for a contact HD picture (or less, any way more than 500x500). It was displayed during call, but I had to restore the system and after sync contact's picture was just very low quality and resolution.
What the **** is wrong with Google?!

I have a weird issue with my SGS3. On several roms so far (Slimbean, Slimkat, Omega and Android Revolution), any image recorded from a non-stock camera app looks like a kaleidoscope.
I've tried Autoguard, Dailyroads voyager and several other apps, and they all do the same thing. The image is extremely distorted.
Pictures are ok, and the stock camera app records just fine, but all other apps do it.
I have a video to show what I mean but apparently I can't post it since I'm a new user. So I posted a screencap from that video in the attachment.
Is there any way to fix this?
I am using the stock CM11 most recent stable build.
Overall the CM11 is really good in my opinion but I am experiencing camera problems.
Every time I record a video it feels like the file is corrupt. I can not send any videos in Facebook Messenger.
I can not send videos as Instagram Direct.
In snapchat I can only record for 3 seconds.
What would help?

Hi, could you please check if your P9000 can record video in Facebook Messenger using main (back) camera? If yes, please post what rom do you use.
I've tried eragon 3.8 and 4, no luck so far. When i try to record i get "Please wait for the video to finish sending before recording a new one" message ( i65.tinypic.com/2d2eu1g.png ) . Taking photos works fine.
I can take photos and record videos with secondary (front) camera without any problems.
Both camera works for me in Ressurection Remix.
