Increase sound - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
Firstly, let me offer my sincere thanks for the info. I have finally had the balls to root my S3 LTE to Liquid Smooth and it's amazing!
The ONLY thing that is slightly different, is that the main speaker is a lot quieter than the original OS. I've tried a few sound hacks but none seem to work on 4.2.2. Is there an easy and safe hack for this version of Liquid (2.9)?
Thanks.

Firstly, you should search and not create a thread and post like this for these questions.
I think you should try this thread instead.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2457945
This is a non-risky method of gaining Samsung Stock Like Sound on any AOSP based Custom Roms like CM, PA , LiquidSmooth etc.
Give it a try and post the feedback on that thread.

Repeat viper4android has no competition worth speaking of though a bit complicated .

Sorry for the thread misplacement. I tried to post on the liquid smooth thread itself but was unable to as I was new. I should have read the section description a little better

Also, I'm on I9305 with 4.2.2. Will that work?

[Q] ICS ROM

What is the best rom to use on the galaxy note i717?
Thanks
That is personal preference. Everyone here has their favorite(s) but only you can decide what you like. Check out the development section and read what each rom is about. Then like they all say, read them again.
If you search the forums I think this topic is already floating around somewhere.

[Q] Roms etc. Help

I recently purchased the galaxy s3 and am quite happy with it, put adw launcher pro made a few tweaks got the jellybean update and am satisfied with everything it does.
My question is what is the need for flashing new Roms or rooting the device? What is the purpose and benefits?
I'm new to all of this and would love some briefing!

You would be better off asking here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1708
This forum is for International Galaxy S3 I9300, not I535 Verizon. Anything you do from these forums can brick your device. Good luck and welcome aboard!
I appreciate the reply, I tried re posting this post on that thread but it said the forum is closed. Do not many have the samsung gs3 for Verizon?

Battery friendly rom (cyanogenmod?)

Currently, I have Cyanogenmod 10.1 (10.1-20130226-NIGHTLY-i9100) rom installed in my phone. I would like to know is there any way to improve cyanogenmod in my phone in order to make it more battery friendly? If not, than maybe you can recommend some other rom, which would be 4.2 and more battery friendly?
Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't agree with the fact that you can't ask for other people to share their opinion on what is greatest rom for specific problem solving. I would love to install all available to roms on my phone and test them by myself, yet I have tons job and no time, that is the reason why I ask for xda-developers users to share their experience. Is it really that much to ask?
Look, everyone's idea of a 'best' ROM is different, and on a website like xda there will be many different views. I don't set these rules for no best ROM threads, that comes from the moderators. I just do my bit to prevent the lazy people like yourself from clogging up the forum and being spoonfed.

You have no right to call me lazy.
Anyway, I will be a bigger man and step out of this. Clearly, some people here have absolutely nothing better to do then to watch if someone "spammed" forum with thread in which a question about roms is being asked...
On a more productive note, try one of the updated 4.2.2's and play with various power and connection settings to see how you can get the power to last.

Instead of spending time here, head over to the forum specific for your phone model & carrier.
In general, most samsung phones (including your model) can go back to the stock state using odin.
Do you know how to do this?

You do not need 10 questions to read any existing threads, or (if needed) ask a question in a Q&A forum. Questions do not belong in Development forums which is why the 10 post rule is in place.

Hello ShutteN,
It goes without saying that stock is by far the most stable ROM for a device, given that the OEM tailors it to specifically match the device hardware.
That being said, if you're looking for a stable custom ROM, I'd advise you to try out a few ROMs and then stick with whichever suits your usage.
I'm closing this, since these types of threads attract unwanted opinionated responses and go in a whole other direction.
Good luck with your search
