which one of this list that i can use for downgrade my android version to gingerbread 2.3.4 ?
mine : HTC EVO 3D GSM,rooted,S-oN,KingCobraICS v.1.6 , downgrading to 2.3.4 is for downgrade hboot from 1.53.0007 to 1.49.0007 and get S-off (the whole tutorials says that must be done on gingerbread 2.3.4 CMIIW)

u cant go back to gingerbread by just running an RUU. but you can get s-off on ICS using the wire trick method. so relock bootloader and run an ICS RUU. then follow the instructions at http://unlimited.io/juopunutbear.htm to get s-off. then you can downgrade hboot

I'm pretty sure that returning the phone with stock hboot 1.4 is perfectly final and even if it isn't then once you revert to stock with hboot 1.4 then you will get prompt to download and install the update which will give you hboot 1.5

I also need to find a way to return my hboot 1.5 to original firmware to return it to sprint.

hboot Downgrade

Okay guys ... I know the rules ... do a search and some reading before you ask a stupid question.
Well, I've been searching and reading for the last two hours and I have not found an answer to this, so here goes:
I am on HC (came that way), I am S-On and I've unlocked on htcdev.com (and can easily re-lock if needed). What I'd like is to get S-OFF, but Revolutionary doesn't support hboot 1.14.xx SO ...
Can I downgrade hboot WITHOUT running the GB RUU? My preference would be S-OFF and rooted (with CWM & SU) but keep HC for now.
If not, would I be correct in running Globatron's HC->GB downgrade, rooting then running his GB->HC upgrade?
Thanks!
JB
EVO 4G
Rooted Revolutionary
TWRP Recovery 2.0
MIUI 1.12.9
Tiamat 4.1.0-sbc+
EVO View 4G
Stock HC
hboot 1.14.0005
HTC Sense 1.1
Honeycomb requires it's own Hboot, GB hboots are not compatible.
No you can't downgrade without an RUU or my light downgrade methods. Hboot is only part of the story.
I'm wondering if you had any luck Rooting it? I have a same problem, mine is also HC and with 1.14.0005 HBoot, how did you Root it?

I think you need to downgrade to GB, root and S-Off with Revolutionary, then you can upgrade back to HC with globatron's method.

[Q] I can't unroot HTC Legend and back to stock rom

Hi all , please help because I can't unroot my HTC Legend and back to stock rom.
Specs are:
Legend PVT Ship S-On
HBOOT - 1.02.0000
MICROP - 0816
RADIO - 7.13.35.05
DEC 23 2011
I've tried to install the RUU from HTC DEV but I can't..give me an error whe toll is Updating Signature - Error 140 Bootloader Version Error
Then I've relocked the bootloader on HTC Dev...and nothing
What am I doing wrong? I have to switch to S-OFF to unroot it? or to downgrade the HBOOT to 1.01 as I have it before to root it?
Thanks
Which guide did you use to root?
I believe the best way now is to use the boot unlocker method, guides are found in this forum section.
Therefore you will not need to downgrade or any of those tedious methods we once had to do.
I've tried to use the tool from htc dev to instal the _WiFi security fix_RUU_Legend_Froyo_S_HTC_WWE_3.15.405.6_Radio_47.51.35.17_7.13.35.05_release_222317_signed...but I can't...gives me error when it try to Update Signature to my phone.
I just want to reinstall the stock rom because the battery before to root took me about 2 days....and now when it's rooted and with custom rom it takes me less then a day and has some bugs ( now i have this rom: [ROM][RC4b][10.09.2011] Gingerbread 2.3.3 with HTC Sense 2.1+ )
Use hack4legend from this thread. Then downgrade to an older RUU and install all updates via OTA. You'll get back to HBOOT 1.01 and an untouched bootloader.

[Q] Is this safe? ICS to JB

Hello!
Is flashing a JB ROM on :
- S-ON
- 1.53.0007 HBOOT
safe?
I guess that after flashing I gonna have a different hboot (correct me if I'm wrong).
And how about flashing from JB to ICS?
Thanks for advices, I'm really new into android roms and can't afford a new phone if this one would be bricked.

You need to read the OP for the ROM. Usually they say what HBOOT is needed.
I can tell you that in order to go to JB you will need to S-Off first.

Sadly dev haven't mentioned Hboot nor s-off or s-on. That's why I'm asking
Btw. Isn't only difference between S-ON and S-OFF that you have to flash boot.img via fastboot usb if you're S-ON?

No. Look here for an explantion of s-on versus s-off.
At quick search in the thread you linked yieled people saying you need 1.39.
If your phone is the gsm version, you will have to downgrade your hboot to 1.49. Now in order to downgrade, you're going to need to be s-off
Sent from my Evo 3D GSM using Tapatalk 2
You're most likely going to end up bootlooping and confused. Go ahead and stay on stock rooted, and get S-Off, it's almost no risk, as failing to do the procedure right just means you have to keep trying.
you need non-ics bootloader so you need s-off first (wiretrick) then downgrade BL and then update radio.

[Q] Need help

I've got HTC Evo 3D HBOOT 1.53.0007, rooted, S-ON, currently on Sensai ROM 2.0.0, but it seem i cant install any JB ROM. And 4.0.4 (which is Sensai) is biggest version i can get on it. Can anyone help me getting some stock android? Would really appriciate any help
you'll need to downgrade hboot to 1.49 to get AOSP based roms working. And you'll need to s-off your device before you can downgrade. head over to unlimited.io and follow the instructions to get s-off. then downgrade hboot from this thread
