Spigen Bounce Case w/ Pictures - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

I'll do a quick review of the black version, never really liked long reviews.
Slim
Ports, IR, etc, all match up
Does have opening for the speaker
Power, Vol+, and Vol- buttons are very easy to press. Nothing like the hard TPU cases from ebay.
The back side "+" symbols are a little glossy.

IF we get a Slim Armor View. They said no out of the gate, then the crowd started getting loud, now they are yelling and with threads going asking about it Spigen has put their FB page asking for feedback on making one. Seriously, you have how many iphone cases and you can't make a case people will spend big money on.
I canceled my other Spigen orders since they won't cancel a single item which is a PITA and because of that I lost my promo deals on the Neo-Hybrid and screen protectors. So I just ordered a Bounce case for now, but I am looking to get the Seidio Leger case which is pretty solid.

I'll post pictures of my Bounce in gray when it comes in
Cases like this are the ideal solution for me, combined with a screen protector of course.

Does this case cover up the chrome ring around the camera on the back?

If you look at the right angle can you still see the solver bezel under the sides as my bounce case leaves a gap between screen and bezel where the rubber don't go all way down to the screen

Chrome ring? No idea what exactly you're talking about. I took a picture of the camera hole with case on, so that should answer your question I assume.

Nope, I do not see any noticeable gap. Can you post pictures of yours?

The Bounce is the perfect case for me. It's compact, it encompasses the entire perimeter of the phone, and it looks classy in person. I'm quite satisfied.

can you post a front view please? someone mentioned about a gap between the screen and case, just wanted to check before i order
thanks

It's the grey model. The discoloration is due to flash.

I have the black on my black phone and love it. I'm probably going to get the slim armor view if they make it and I'll pick up the neo hybrid once it is prime on amazon. The way I see it, if it isn't on amazon prime I probably don't need it.

i love my bounce! i tried to cancel my neo and slim orders on amazon but they already shipped! :/ going to return to sender when i get them in though. this case and my clear one coming should be all i need!

I need to decide between this bounce from Spigen and the Diztronic Matte Back Black. What do you suggest? Is the Spigen slippery? Any comparison with the Diztronic?
Thanks

Case-mate Barely There Aluminum does not cover top microphone

When you say the black barely there case, do you mean the normal plastic case (This one), or do you mean the AT&T specific brushed aluminum one in black (This one) the OP referred to? I'd like to know, even though Case-Mate might say otherwise, if all the ports, buttons, etc. are accessible in the normal plastic one.
Thanks

Thanks for these but how sturdy does the case feel? My concern is that on case mate's own website there are several complaints about the case cracking on the corners.

case seems fairly sturdy. the Incipio feather on my wifes atrix cracked on one corner (these are similar cases) but that was because of taking it on and off and its stiffer. On this case it seems easier to take off so I dont think it will crack as easily....unless maybe if you drop it alot or something.
Got my case!
I received my Barely There Aluminum today. Fit and finish is great as you can expect from a case that sells for $40! I really like the heft that this case adds to the phone. Without a case, I felt that the S2 was too thin and light. The feel of the plastic bumper is very nice. It feels satiny and "soft". To me, the plastic actually looks like powder coated metal. The aluminum back and chrome trim really makes this case look very classy. The camera opening has a little raised edge around it so when sitting on its back, the lens is protected. There is also a very small raised edge around the screen which will help protect the screen when placed faced down on a table, though dont expect major protection if the phone is dropped faced down and dragged across the floor. I only have 2 concerns: one is that the plastic on the sides does feel slick to the touch and two, the power button is a little hard to press. You really need to use the tip of your finger in order to press power.
This case may not be for everyone since it does leave the top and bottom exposed, but that is to be expected from a "barely there" case. Overall I am very pleased! So pleased in fact that I am thinking about getting the Case-Mate Pop or Tough for times when I need extra protection for the phone.
Umm...pictures?

Do you have any pictures?
Agreed. Pics would be fantastic, especially from a few angles. The ones on the Case-Mate website don't give enough for me to make a decision. Additionally, what parts are plastic? I figured an aluminum case would be.. well.. metal. Is only the back panel metal and the rest is plastic? If so I just don't think I can make myself spend $35-40 on it. :|
Another point of concern for me is that on their website, even though they say US AT&T version of the SGSII (which is the SGH-777 we all have) the pictures are of a GT-i9100. Am I correct in assuming that they're just posting a picture for a different phone but actually make a case for ours?
Question: Do the barely there cases.scratch up the sides? I had a similar case when I owned an iPhone and it scratched the sides where it clipped on to the phone.

Certainly not the only case that doesn't cover the top microphones, someone didn't use the SEARCH button... just thought I'd clear that up so people don't think there's only one case on the market that fits our phone, however hideous or GPS-blocking it may be.

Spigen Slim Armor

Today I received my Spigen Slim Armor w/Air Cushion Technology. Sorry, I wanted to post a link to the Amazon page so everyone could see what it looks like, but you will all have to Google/Amazon it
First impression is that it fits snug and has great cutouts. There is a full rubber cover and then a hard shell that wraps over the middle portion of the rubber cover. The hard shell is a bit slippery but overall it is a well put together case and leaves more than enough space for a tempered glass screen protector. The only unfortunate thing about this case is that there is a hole where the buttons on the back of the phone are, really wish there was a cover for the buttons as well but I have yet to see such a case, like the Otterbox cases for the LG G2.
Overall it is a good case and worth the price.
I purchased this case a the Verizon store when I got my phone, overal great case offeres good protection while keeping the phones slimness, just an fyi if you order the white one it has like a shimmery look, my wife says It looks like it's for a woman
I have this case too and I like it. FYI the white case is just as shimmery as the OEM white backplate. Hell, Spigen calls it "Shimmery White..." Oh and it's $9.99 right now.

I have the charcoal one and love it! Back isn't slick to me...unlike the protection and slimness
I have the Spigen Slim Armor in Metal Slate and I'm extremely happy with it. Low profile, lightweight, and the cutouts are spot on.
I bought the Incipio Dual Pro case at the store when I got my G3, and I consider the Spigen to be much better. While the Dual Pro does seem to protect the phone very well, the ridges along the side are so high and protrude so far onto the face of the phone that it makes it nearly impossible to swipe from the left to access the menu in most apps. Even though I have huge hands, I find it a challenge to hit the upper left part of the screen with my right thumb on the G3, so using the swipe from the left side is essential to me. It's not an issue with the Spigen Slim Armor, as it does not extend far enough onto the face of the phone to get in the way. :good:
Which one of the Spigen's do you like better?
I'm also rocking this case.. overall i'm happy with it. Very slim and fits snuggly.
Only downfalls are the back is a little slick. not a big deal. Theirs not covers over the buttons, on my g2 I had a balistics case that covered the buttons which was nice. The only thing that really bothers me about this case is where the ubs and headphone jacks plug in. the edges on the case are somewhat sharp. I hold my phone in a way that it rests on my pinky finger, and its irritating to say the least. Maybe its just me and my big hands..
Just picked up this case as well as I can't stand the built in screen protector on my Supacase Beetle Unicorn due to the dead spots. So going naked for the screen, but will have this case on it. My wife has one on her g2 and always liked how it felt.

How is the white color holding up. Every white case I have after a few weeks it turns brown or black. I cant stand it.
For the sharp edge on the pinky finger just get some 1000 grit sand paper and take the edge off. Helps a lot.

Mines pulls away too. Thought it just was the way it was due to the screen getting so close to the edge and the case not having much to hold on to.
Great Protection BUT
I purchased the Slim Armor case. Really like the look and the fit (stays in place and doesn't cover the screen). My only issue is the depth of the power and volume keys. With the case, they are recessed almost 1/8th of an inch. This makes it harder to use both.

I disagree about the recessed buttons. I find it makes it very easy to find the buttons and avoid touching the camera lens. Also, I have long skinny fingers and am able to use the device comfortably with one hand. This phone isn't for people with small hands...

If you're looking for a transparent case then look into Spigen Ultra Hybrid or Ringke Fusion.
Ringke Fusion is not shipping until next week though. I'm using the Ultra Hybrid, I like the colors and its a nice case. Although I think I'd like the buttons to be separated so it'd be easier to see which key is what.
I have decided on the spigen slim armor in gunmetal. Sadly I dont have my nexus 6 yet but the case looks and feels awesome. I just fear that the vertical stand will break after a while but thats just a guess...
Ringke by far is my favorite just because the buttons are made a little better then the spigen.
I have been quite happy with the spigen slim armor. Mine has none of the QC issues the Amazon reviews have mentioned. My kickstand has never fallen out and I don't know how it ever could with the phone in the case. I think most of the overly negative reviews on the kickstand were from people who reviewed it before they even had the phone. The phone fits perfectly and is easy to get out. The one issue I do have with it is the flat buttons. It is virtually impossible to know which button you are about to press without looking which is kind of annoying. If they modify that I will buy a new one. I'd be happy if the Slim Armor had the button of the neo hybrid.
I used one of those slim Ringke cases on my nexus 5 and it scratched the corners of my phone when I removed it so I'll never use that brand again. I know this phone is different so maybe that's no longer an issue but once is enough for me.
Edit - I see you said you want a transparent case. That means my comments can be disregarded, lol...

Agreed and the buttons on the N6 are separated which prevents miss taps, its still not available for sale yet though. Using the Ultra Hybrid for the time being. Not sure how I feel about the caps on the N6 ports for the Fusion, they didnt use to have them.
Ringke for cases definitely. I have both for the N5 and for the N4 and Ringke does feel slimmer and very well made.
Spigen for Screen Protectors.
I ordered the Ringke Fusion Crystal
Pics of Spigen Ultra Hybrid with Spigen Ultra Crystal Screen Protector
I'm sure by now you've already obtained your case, though I thought I'd post some pictures of the Spigen (Crystal Clear) Ultra Hybrid along with a Spigen Ultra Crystal Screen Protector.
As you can see, it shows off the device, but still achieves maximum protection. The Case is a hard shell on the back, and soft rubber along the sides. Both are clear.
I haven't had any issues with the buttons on the case. If anything, the button placement on the actual phone will take some getting used to, though they are situated halfway down for a reason.
Enjoy!
P.S. These pics were taken from my iPhone 5S. Unfortunately.....

I am using this case right now and really enjoy it. No issues with QI, NFC and it offers great protection for the minimalistic design. Case is very sturdy and fits like a glove. The only small gripe I have with it is the buttons. While they are very tactile it is very difficult to distinguish power from volume. Other than that its great.
I did order the ringke fusion, which is the basically the same case. The biggest differences between the spigden and the ringke I saw were plugs where the cutouts are, it comes with a screen protector AND the power button and volume rocker are much more pronounced (easier to distinguish) in my opinion. Both cases are great and if your curious about the other, here's a link.

They are flush, and built into the soft rubber material. I know many people are having issues with the button placement, but it hasn't been a problem for me. It's quite simple really, top is power, bottom is volume down, that leaves the middle for.... You guessed it! Haha

Haha, thanks. I've been an Android user since the G1. The iPhone is for work. FIgured since ALLLL of my personal devices have been Android, might as well try somethign different.
To be honest, I barely even touch my iPhone other than for responding to e-mails on the go, and emergency work calls. It was cool and interesting for about 2 days, though I will probably upgrade to the iPhone 6S plus when it becomes available (for work of course).
Spigen Perfect/Thin Fit VS Ringke SLIM
I have both the Spigen Perfect/Thin Fit and the Ringke SLIM cases in black. I started with the Spigen but didn't like the way the Motorola logo was the centerpiece of the back of the phone and also the case kept 'unclicking' out of position on the phone when it was in my pocket (so far in only 3 days this has happened around 5 times)... so I looked for an alternative and found the Ringke SLIM. I have to say I much prefer the Ringke, it's simple, it has very subtle branding (no cutcouts for motorola logo on the back either) and the cutouts for the inputs are nicer. It also has cut outs at the stress points that make it a bit more durable (less chance of the plastic breaking or the case stressing in general). Also, so far the Ringke has been rock solid and hasn't moved an inch on my Nexus 6. The only thing I miss from the Spigen is the soft touch black coating... but considering the other issues I had, this is perfectly acceptable.
I got the spigen neo hybrid, it's OK but makes the phone feel bulky and makes the screen bezel look huge. Also the buttons could be better designed, the nexus 6 has a smaller textured button and a longer volume button, spigen went for 3 buttons all the same size with no texture and in my coat pocket it's hard to get the right button to change volume when listening to music.

Has any users here used or have this case for their nexus 6? I already paid for it and it will be here tomorrow using amazing 1 day shipping. Curious what others think.
I have it. Bought it and the ringke fusion same time. I like both, and quality seems to be identical. That being said I find I use the ringke more as it has the accent depression on the back that feels good in hand, as well as the protruding buttons are easier to distinguish.
The upside if the spigen however, is that it seems to have less of a rainbow effect on the back at certain angles.
I have this case, I love it because of the clear back, really shows off the beauty of the Nexus 6. However, as mentioned by the other poster, this case makes it very hard to distinguish the power and volume buttons. The buttons on my case also weren't very tactile, I always find myself hitting the wrong one. But, I still thoroughly enjoy this case, it protects the Nexus 6 very well.

Thanks. I am putting a dbrand skin on it...blue one actually. So excited about this. Thanks I always used Spigen for all my devices. Just figured I ask. Is this a slip on type one or is it clip like the metal ones? I didnt really find anything about how it gets put on.
I just push the bottom of the phone in and snap it down in. The border is tpu, so it has some flex while offering some drop protection.
I use a black carbon fiber slickwrap on my n6, and it really does emphasize the beauty of this beast.

I checked via web for a review of this (video) is there one?
I know there is one comparing the 2 cases I have, I ordered both right after watching it. I'm at work right now so I can't really track down the link.

thats ok i already bought it. The last thing I am wonder is do u have a screen protector on it with this case or the glass screen protectors? will they work with this case?
The glass do yes, but I got rid of mine because I hate the halo. I'm using the plastic one that came with my ringke.
Nice case ..

"Crystal Clear" TPU case

Has anybody tried one yet on the DT2? I want to protect the leather, but still show it off, as well as give some cushioning for light drops due to having wood and tile everywhere in my house.
If anybody has used one, how clear are they? How well is the fitment? Specifically, I'm looking at this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...id=1447601659&ref_=sr_1_19&s=wireless&sr=1-19
Reviews look like it doesn't fit right. Although people are talking about tablets. One says the slots and holes aren't right. Doesn't look promising. I'm waiting for Diztronic because they've never let me down with TPU cases for my phones.

I received that very one 2 days ago. I really like it. Was looking for a bumper case as I don't tnink the phone needs a back cover. Couldn't find one so I ordered this one. The back is indeed crystal clear (so far) and shows off my soft grip well. The sides are tpu & offer way more grip than the original metal. All the cutouts line up & the buttons are easy to push. The clear back plastic is apporximately 1/16" thick. I'd buy it again.

Brian, do you have a picture?

Don't know if this will work or not. Didn't see a way to attach an image from a local folder so I tried to attach a link to my google drive where the pictures are. Fingers crossed.

Pictures worked and looks good. I ordered the same case two weeks ago and was back-ordered from the seller. It's "shipping" now and hopefully i'll be getting this case soon! I also did not want to cover up the back as mine is the leather back.

I bought one of these today. I can confirm that the buttons work well. Here's a riddle: What is flexible on the sides, rigid on the back, and clear all over. This case! *rim shot*
Wow, that looks really good. I'm going to order one asap. Thanks!
Urban Armor Gear has a clear case. I love it.

Moto X Style/Pure coming with bumper case. It's cheap, transparent plastic but perfect to protect metal frame. If anyone find the same type for Turbo 2/Force, please let us know.
I bought this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-C...476482?hash=item41a2479d02:g:Iq8AAOSw3KFWgIVS
Works great. Add extra piece of mind when holding DROID without excessive bulk.
I finally got my clear case. I was waiting on my Amazon Gift card birthday present because I didn't really want to spend my own money on it, lol
I love it, though. Looks great on the phone and protects the leather.

+1 on Diztronic, good cases, used them on other phones before, and I have the blue TPU one on my D2 now. Not the slimmest of cases, but very well made and the button feel is perfect, better than naked.
I got the Pleson clear TPU case cause I love the look of this phone, but FWIW, clear cases just seem like lint traps to me. I found myself removing the phone from the case too often to clean out all the pocket lint that was getting sandwiched in there...kept bugging my OCD tendencies. And when it was out one day, you guessed it, dropped on my concrete floor in the basement and dented the corner a bit....GAHHH.
I have this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01868SM9S
It fits well and all the ports are uncovered. Don't try using the screen protector that comes with it, the one they sent with mine is too tall for the phone.

It's similar to one I bought it. I'm using for awhile and fit very well and I like it.
