Desire VC has CDMA Radio
Desire V has WCDMA Radio
and therefor they will have a different Baseband / Radio Version
All but the radio will work fine. You can try if you don't need phone network.
I have decided to start working on cm10 for our HTC desire v, but since we still have s-on, will that make a difference on upgrading to jb from ics??
If not, I will start working for jb

Our device is not popular as much like others and it's dual sim.functionality is a barrier for creating roms, i guess.

my bro bought a Desire V.. and since d day i saw in ua signature as Desire V m waiting for you custom rom.. about S-on. Y dont u ask some developers in general Android section.. or Android Q-A section.. developers for HTC ight answer or evn help..
About cyanogenmod.. i knw it doesnt support dualsim.. bt i fell there are ppl whu want a custom rom dan dual sim feature.. so if itz possible for u to build without 1 sim working.. m sure many ppl wud love to try it.. specially me.. not an order.. just a request.. lookin forward to your work in dis section...:good:

Well... No, it wont make any difference.... Just dat u have to flash kernel seperately via fastboot.... Dats it....
PS: i dont have desire v.... Im from some other forum....so, any futher info, u have to pm me....

guys: can anyone patch the kernel in a way that makes it possible to record calls from both sims with good quality, not just from sim1 which still is bad. Desire V doesn't recognize sim2 not even its number, wondering why. in samsung phones u can use the dual sim toolkit to fix this issue, but not in desire v.

you should use jb 4.1 cause is faster or even ics is better than jb 4,2

There are no differences between them..
I wanted to know if it is possible to flash One's rom in Desire V.
Is it safe and possible.
