Stock 526 ultra z CWM Recovery needed - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

I know this is a starnge quesion, but,
threw all the issues i had getting cwm onto my phone,
I finally did, but lost my stock sony image,
was wondering if it wasn't too much trouble, could someone post a recover that will bring my phone back to the original sony android version 526,
or, if i'm being an idiot, let me know how to get there without wiping out cwm...
thanks everyone in advance,
I have a c6802.

I think this should be in the QA section and not development.. :what:

Getting my NEO tomorrow.

so, as title says i am getting my neo (not neo V) tomorrow.
i see diferent ways to unlock the bootloader, also a ways to relock it.
as i dont know what version it will be what is the safest path to having CM7 on it?
is there something i should know/be aware of before starting to flash it. (shiny brick on first day yay! no.) like what isnt working properly (bravia on cm7?) 3d games on cm7? battery drain?
any info would be cool. thx in advance!
do not flash android 2.3.2 it will brick your phone.

This tuts are for neo V...
I know it can be equal, but we (especially newbies) were always in doubt because the title refers to Neo V!
I am with Qwerty123 \m/. I think it is important to someone making a complete tutorial which gathers all the information. It's just my opinion.

make a little search on the forum , write xperia neo test point
just follow this guide
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Sony_Ericsson_Xperia_Neo:_Full_Update_Guide
that's how i did it oh, and i suggest you flash CM 7.1.0.1, as the CM 7.2 is missing a few things yet, and CM 7.1.0.2 often ends up in a software bootloop
---------- Post added at 12:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:01 AM ----------
or, even better, flash THIS!

Can you root the i717 Galaxy Note without a Computer?

I'm the proud owner of a Galaxy Note i717 but the limitations of gingerbread are driving me crazy....so the first thing I want to do is root and flash a different ROM problem is I'm without a computer ugh.
I came across a YouTube video showing how to root the other model without using a computer so I was wondering if anyone knew of a solution for the i717 model.
So is it possible to root the i717 galaxy note without a computer?
Help me out here guys any feedback is much appreciated....

I highly discourage trying anything other than what is posted in these threads...since it has been proven to best and most effective why of rooting and flashing...
in other words...You will need a computer and for a safety feature in case you soft brick or hard... you will have a need for a pc...computer.
do you have CWM on your device? like ranger stated below...no need to root to flash...
just my suggestions
You don't need root to flash an ics Rom.

Honestly I would not attempt to flash without a pc handy...due to the saying
"ya never know"
Even though we have the same make/model devices....they are not the same... my GNote may not like a ROM as to yours might...like I trying explaining ... the computer being your safety net if something goes wrong....I would wait or find a friend that you can use a computer, but it is your call, it is your investment.
btw unless someone knows a way to put CWM on the device without a computer....I believe you will need a computer...
Since CWM is a custom kernel, you could flash it from the phone using the Mobile Odin app.
Edit: oops never mind -- you need to be rooted to use Mobile Odin. Sorry for the bad information.
I rooted one phone using the terminal emulator after downloading such and busy box to the SD card. But its harder than climbing Everest without oxygen typing those commands.

So I Bought a Galaxy note (i717) the charger port is messed up on the device. It will charge, but it wont allow any PC connectivity. I have searched google and xda for information how how to root this phone with out a PC (aka using an .apk like framaroot) and I can not find a viable solution. I have tried Z4Root and Framaroot and neither of them work. Do you know of any other ways to root my device with out a pc? If i dont need a Root to Flash Could you point me in the right direction to find that information I haven't put CWM on the device yet because I Cant Root so I cant MobileOdin ect.. you see the picture lol. Is it possible to use an Update.zip file? or use a formatted SDcard to flash it like I did to Flash NookColor1?

How do I uninstall the JB ROM completely?
Edit: Whenever I connect my phone to my computer, it won't show up and I can't add anything to my internal SD.
Edit 2: I got it. I appreciate the help anyways.
Should be very similar as how you flashed the rom you currently have. Not to be a smartass but the op also posted instructions on how to flash. You just need to download the rom and the current gapps for jb and flash using twrp or cmw. Great rom too. For me not quite ready for a daily driver but really good.

Just download the ROM and gaaps you want put on your SD card(internal SD is fine) whipe data, cache ect. Use twrp to install. I prefer twrp because you can install everything in one shot. Hope you figure it out.

People shouldn't be flashing anything if they're asking how to uninstall a ROM...
If you have no knowledge then why risk it??
Read read read read read
And idk how much I can emphasize this but READ
This isn't a help hotline or a help website with walk thrus.. there is YouTube for that..
The OP of every ROM or port or hack or mod has detailed instructions on how to flash a ROM and the requirements.
If you can't figure it out by reading and having a some what knowledge of what's going on....stay away from flashing..
That's how we get all the "I bricked my phone help" threads...
Not being a d*ck but all this can be solved by simply reading

Bootloader? Roms?

Hey guys, its atrixno4g and i was wondering if their is away to rom the atrix running 2.3.6 with .141. Oh and if someone could tell me about this unlocked-bootloader thing is all about ( is it when the phone is unlocked?) and how to get the clockworkmod recovery i think its called.. I recently got this phone and without doing any research i used a program called RSD Lite and flashed some sbf to downgrade or something and instead bricked my phone- but i fixed it now. So basically can someone just give me a brief summary about all this, i dont want to brick my phone again.
Thanks.

It would take more of my own time to explain it all and provide all of the links then it would for you to find out yourself.
Search-lazy much?
Sorry but by asking questions like that you are effectively invalidating and making worthless all the hard work and effort put into writing all those tutorials and explanations in other threads. Not nice.

Yeah, they are outdated. Like the bootloader thread, its outdated, but its still the way to do it. Theres no newer way. After that, root it. After you root it just install cwm from the market don't follow any threads on it.

Like everyone has said you gotta search. A sign you haven't even looked in those threads is the fact you said they're outdated even though they have responses that are very recent, indicating people with your version and firmware might be commenting. It's a lot of reading and it should be because if you mess it up you could brick your phone. Read everything you can and then read it again. I can guarantee you can unlock, get clockworkmod working, and flash a ROM onto your phone (my guarantee is limited to the US AT&T atrix)
Thanx for everything guys- now i root first or unlock bootloader?

So with the KK update LG changed the way the G2 is locked down. Been messing around with some stuff and just was able to get around the standard recovery and was able to boot into the more normal Android recovery. I think from here I can build a custom recovery that may work...
Who knows if it will work and not sure when I will be done with it so don't ask for ETA...

Stock recoveries will be allowed through the 4.4.2 bootloader check. Custom recoveries are not allowed because they pass through the aboot and if they are not 100% stock you are dropped into fastboot. Sorry man, this idea won't work.

I am not an Android Dev but how much work would it be to just create a g2 framework package that would overlay on a source aosp rom? Lg ui isn't some mystical New rom is just an overlay. Very involved but I see other people exporting the Sony ui to other roms. It might be easier than trying to find an exploit that might not exist
