Note 3 Kickstand Cases - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

I'm keeping an eye out for some decent kickstands for the note 3. I'm more after a battery replacement with kickstand, something very slim. seems so far most ones out are pretty huge, full on cases. some pics and links below...
if you find something I'm after please post up. looking for something decent, not some alibaba crap.
cheers

if anyone has any of these post some thoughts on it, I'll keep it up top - here
I'll keep adding to the list when I see them too

I always use the TPU with stand case. They are a generic case and are not made by Evercase.
Got mine for a fiver from eBay, which is the most I've ever paid for one! I got two for £2.80 for my S3 a while ago.
The stand usually snaps after about three months so buy a couple.
The stand on the actual case I have now is the slackest one I've ever had.
I would definitely be interested in purchasing one of the cases listed above as long as they are under £15 and not to thick.

thanks for this thread. ive been looking for a case for my note 3 with a kickstand. but most of the ones i found look to bulky for me. that surface case looks perfect. lol

which one is the slimmest kickstand case? i'm thinking the Evecase S-line right? yeah they are on ebay and amazon for like 5 bucks..

Im just gonna use my belt clip that came with otterbox defender case for note 2. The belt holster/clip will fit the note 3 just fine as a horizontal kickstand.
Sent from my note 2 ya bish!

why no link to the SEIDIO Active cases? Those are the best kickstand cases they (will) carry.

Would be nice, had an awesome BodyGlove Fusion case with Durastand on my G2 and I really hope they make it for the Note 3. I don't miss the G2 but I sure do miss the case lol

I have the Seidio Surface case. Received it today. I love this case. It does not add much bulk and the kickstand is great. I read a lot and the kickstand makes a nice finger rest while holding the device. Flip it out and hook your pinky finger under it. Very secure and easy to hold for prolonged periods. It only stands in landscape not portrait. I had the same case for my Note 2. I am very pleased with its look and function.

+1. Also does anyone know any stores that carry it? I'm starting to doubt that my neo hybrid will be in on time. Was supposed to ship today but no confirmation.

Here are some pics as requested.....

looks good

Does it add a lot of bulk? Is it heavy? I ha e 3 supposedly light cases, and they aren't!

I've had the Evecase for my Note 2 for almost a year with no problems. I've been waiting for the day when the plastic kickstand snaps off, but so far it's holding strong...
I'd really be interested in a review of the minisuit (or Hyperion version) with some pictures. I wonder how much bulk it adds?
Also, these look pretty sharp and the price is hard to beat!!!

I just pre-ordered this case - http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-LEDGER-Kickstand-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/tech-data/B00FFD613M/ref=de_a_smtd - it combines the flip cover I like with a kickstand. Seems like the perfect mix for me.

Galaxy Note 3 Pouch Cases

Hello,
I already preordered my Galaxy Note 3 and I was wondering if any pouch cases from Samsung will be available. In my opinion the phone is too beautiful to be used with a case. The flip cover and flip wallet are not helpful for me at all as I'm playing many games and I'm using the camera a lot.
The pouch case is offering the optimal protection in pocket. On my Galaxy Note 2 I was using this case.

Will Samsung offer any pouch cases for Galaxy Note 3? If you also found any pouch cases from other manufacturers, please post them here.
Thank you!
I reached out to a seller on Etsy who overs a wide range of custom leather goods including custom cases, pouches and wallet cases. Now on their Etsy page http://www.etsy.com/shop/TRIMleather they show a lot of iphone products, however, I contacted Corey about cases for the Galaxy line of phones, in particular the Galaxy Note 3.
Good news is he will be offering cases at the end of September for the Galaxy family of phones and I am looking to order one of the wallet cases once I see what the final product looks like. If his current work is any indication of how awesome the GN3 Wallet Case will be I look forward to it.
All natural products, organic vegetable dyes and a nice vintage look.
i liked the spigen pouch cases from my s3/s4. but not sure they are going to do a pouch for a note 3. i would buy one. here is a link. very nice product and feel
like these

Im a huge fan of Golla pouches with their side slot for phone with flap.
*Credit card slots
*zippered compartment for your id, etc..
Unfortunately I emailed them and got a crummy response.
"Thanks for your message, it’s always great to hear from a long time fan. We’re flattered to hear your enthusiasm for Golla and your interest in including us in your write-ups. It’s unfortunate then, that I have to be the bearer of bad news… The Galaxy Note is still a bit too big for our Phone Wallets. Since it is a bit unique, being one of the only gadgets of its size (not quite a phone, not quite a tablet), our normal phone cases aren’t a great fit. Our designers wrestled with a few ideas for how to carry the Galaxy Note, but in the end couldn’t settle on a style that was comfortable to wear. We are currently in the process of working on a few new product lines, so maybe something will emerge in the future. However at the moment, the only Golla bags that fit the Galaxy Note are the Phone Purses: http://shop.golla.com/epages/Golla.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Golla/Products/G1406
Pre ordered mine today too. I Just went for a cheap ebay job to offer some protection while we wait for all the decent ones to get released.
I'm looking for a quality pouch with belt clip. This phablet is to big for skinny jean pockets. Most belt pouches look universal and I'm not sure if they even fit.

That's a nice looking pouch. I would be down for that if they release it.
I dont know why its so difficult for golla, or anyone else to come out with something like this to fit the N3,
I have been using golla pouches similar to these for years as my phone case and wallet in 1. without one I will be kinda lost.
They usually have credit card slots and a zippered pocket for ids, etc..
fitBAG for note 3
I had couple of these for my note 2 and i'm going to order a one or two for my note 3. Fit is amazing, microfiber insides. Great lightweight pouches.

Is there any pouch out there that is big enough to bit the phone+case?

Pouch PDair
I had one of PDair on my old phone and the quality is great. You can get one with clip or the larger one that will accommodate note 3 with bumper attached.

I've owned three Golla cases so far. Love them!
Bottom picture is for a htc hd2/s4 mini sized phone, btw.
I bought this one for my Note 3: http://shop.golla.com/en/Phone-Purse-SWOOSIE-G1406
It's a bit tight fit the first week, but it fits 7 cards or more(i have 7) (inside zipper pocket, not in slots), has zipper pocket on the back for coina and is fairly waterproof (not if you go swimming.)
Most importantly, it's the only wallet I've found that fits the Note 3. Oddly, as the mega is bigger an has been out longer... Not to mention the note2...

I recently got this case off of Amazon, a bit more expensive, and not made for the Note 3, but it fits like a glove.
The material is soft, smooth and I'm guessing it'll age well. Nubuck leather.
It reminds me of how the Twelvesouth BookBook case looks for Apple products.

Anybody seen any new pouches?
What about Galaxy Note 2 pouch?
Anyone out there with original pouch for galaxy Note 2?
Maybe it just fits, dimensions wise Note 3 is a tad bit smaller than Note 2 - you can check this at gsmarena f.e. (151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm for Note 2 vs 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3 mm for Note 3).
Unfortunately I dont have a quick access to such pouch: all friends with Note 2 are using TPU cases, and my original Note 1 pouch is too short and too wide (obviously, since Note 1 size is quite different).
The only thing that bothers me is that Note 2 is more rounded that Note 3...

Samsung Book Cover case

Are they a rip off?
$100 dollars is something I am willing to pay for protection that works and quality.
This book cover case looks cheap and say if you fold it open will it not block the camera?
A $20 case, oh great but does it fall apart or scratch you device?
The device cost me $750, I do not want to be cheap with the cover.
Decided to buy one anyway, blocking the camera seems stupid but the tablet is not going to take many pictures
I wouldn't waste my money on a genuine Samsung cover when I could pick up something identical made from identical materials by the exact same workers in the exact same factory....but just skipped the guy that attaches the "Samsung" logo.
I am 100% willing, however, to throw money at Oberon Design if they decide to make a case for the Pro...Mmm..
Oh, oh, or if Tuff-luv ever comes out with a Eco-nique natural hemp cover for it. That'd be freaking sweet. I love the one I've got on my Kindle.
BuyDig.com sells the original Samsung case for 59.99. At first I hesitated buying it, but after reading all the poor reviews and comments on the third party products, I decided to get it.
I must say, I am very glad I did. The feel is definitelly premium, and replicating the soft leather plastic feel of the tablet's back. It is also quite thin, not adding any significant bulk overall. Highly recommended, if you can spring for it.

Picked mine up at Verizon, and it costs $69, but I get a 25% discount through my job, so I spent $52 (inclusive of MI Sales Tax). I like it. It's thin, light, and works well, and because it doesn't add too much bulk, I can slip it easily into my Work Bag. I had the SPECK Case but returned it...too much bulk and I didn't care for the Clasp.
I have onesince day 1. Pricey but if you hold it, you think at the back doesnt have case.its thin and does its job. A very well made case. For this price im expecting a real leather.
I really like the official cover. If I could get one similar to it but made of real leather that would be amazing though. But I have zero complaints about it.

It has a Verizon logo on it but it's not a big deal to me.
I plan on using it with a Snugg PU Leather Sleeve Case for 13 " MacBook Air and Pro, Surface Pro 3, Black also on ebay and its only $13.99.
UPDATE
Got both items from Ebay and the Snugg case for MacBook Air works perfectly, a little room on sides but if it was smaller it would be to hard to get the tablet out of the sleeve as the rubberized coating on the case has a little grip to it.
This turned out that I got both items for under $30.00 and makes the Note 12.2 look very classy and rich looking.
I bought a Samsung case for my device it is really nice, I did have 1 problem that the magnet sensor was playing up, the screen wasn't turning on or it would just freeze. I think the case wasn't on properly, I'm sure it hasn't done it for awhile but normally if it doesn't turn on I just wait and use the button, that seems to work. for the trouble it's not worth the money, a little cheaper and I would definitely recommend it

Poetic Case for about $15...
I've had my 12.2 for about a year now. I originally bought the Samsung case - sooo unimpressed with it! I find it very flimsy, and it doesn't fold the right way to set in my lap (like an easel). I lived with it for about 2 months, then found a case similar to it on Ama zon from a company called Poetic. It has the lid magnets like the "official" case so the tablet sleeps when I close the lid. It also has the right creases in the cover to create the easel stand - perfect for lap use and watching movies. It has held up well over the months, and I'm not real gentle. Pleather outside, soft felt-like inside that lays against the screen. Tablet snaps in snugly, all the right slots and holes for the tablet. Very happy with it.
Search for "Poetic tablet case for samsung note pro 12.2", it was the first one on the list. LOL! Price went up a couple of bucks, still worth it.
offical flip case
The official samsung note pro flip case designer range moschino and kirkwood are selling at atomgsm.co.uk for only £11.79 including free UK delivery. Couldn't believe it bought A couple.
I think that if you're going to get this, you might as well get an rooCASE Origami cover. They are much more versatile in the way they fold and they are cheaper.

Fits very nice with a little room on the inside so you can actually put your favorite pen on the side or a USB 3.0 OTG dongle.

Once again, Otterbox wins.

I went back and forth the last several days between trying out the sexy Spigen Slim Armor on my Note 3 and the tried and true Otterbox Commuter for the Note 3 as the Note 2 version saved my Note 2 from many drops and hard hits in the past . What was frustrating was that I didn't want the bulk anymore of the Commuter in comparison to the very sleek layout of the Spigen Slim Armor, however the Spigen is a freaking finger print magnet with the glossy polycarb and it would easily show scratches and dings vs the Commuter. I liked that the Commuter had the flaps to keep dirt and debris outa my USB and headphone jack but the Slim Armor just didn't feel as bulky as the commuter, which was a nice change.
All in all, the pro's and cons made it really tough to decide. But in the end, protection won over style so i'll be sticking with the Commuter and using Spigens oleophobicscreen protector along with it.

Nope, but I was thinking it might if the rubber inside was cut. I like my case too much to experiment with it.
Why not Zerolemon? It's like the Otterbox, but gives you a huge battery. Maybe you don't like the bulk they the 10k mAh battery gives?

[Q] What durable (light to heavy duty) case goes on and comes off easy?

Hello all and thank you in advance for reading my post. I do my best to “pay it forward” when I can.
I recently just switched my service over to Verizon (love the service) and bought a Note 3 (love this phone). I was using an S3 with an Elago Breathe case. It was a great case but more for light duty use. The Note 3 is so nice I would hate to have it covered all of the time so I would like to swap cases based on my situation. The slim cases go on and come off easy but when you get into cases like the Otterbox they seem to be a “put it on and leave it on” type of a case. I just want something mainly for protecting against drop and slight bangs. I “think” the Otterbox defender would be overkill and very large. So out of the light to heavy duty cases what ones go on and come off easy?

It was a great case but more for light duty use. The Note 3 is so nice I would hate to have it covered all of the time so I would like to swap cases based on my situation. The slim cases go on and come off easy but when you get into cases like the Otterbox they seem to be a “put it on and leave it on” type of a case. I just want something mainly for protecting against drop and slight bangs. I “think” the Otterbox defender would be overkill and very large. So out of the light to heavy duty cases what ones go on and come off easy?

I hate the big and bulky cases as well so my most recent case purchase was the Tech21 Impactology I picked it up from Tmobile store it was pretty pricy came to about $37 after taxes but you can get it on Ebay much cheaper...

I use the seidio surface, its a hard case Ive dropped my note twice on pavement and no problems other than the case having a little scuff mark.its also raised slightly to protect the camera..

I also switch out batteries daily so the case is quick to come off and put back on.

Just any TPU case from ebay, which can be very inexpensive...will do the job and not give you problems when it comes to battery removal. I am using a goospery case....in red. I love it! My idea is that if you drop your phone anyways, you might be screwed...so HOLD onto it. Get square trade insurance...and you're good to go! Just MY two cents!!!

Both offer a bit of protection from falls, and great protection for your daily usage.

Nice, is that comparable protection wise? I like that case but I have heard mix reviews about the rubber on it. What have you seen?
This is one of my personal favorites, its a mix of TPU and a hard shell that is wrapped around it. The fit and finish is excellent and its not too bulky. The case also comes off in one piece and goes on just by popping your phone into it.

Always welcome! TPU is the only kind I've ever used on any phone and luckily, I've never regretted it!

How would this compare to the Commuter series?

I haven't had any problems with protection so far, but I do have two little scratches where I have dropped it, but no rubber peeling and no problems with the felt on the inside of it either.
Just purchased the Trident Aegis case from amazon for $18 and it rocks! rubber surround, with plastic backing (hybrid) superb protection, free sp. does not add too much bulk, and it looks great, Will post pics if you want me to. I have always used Trident cases and they are awesome, oh and it comes off easy too. I got the green one

In terms of protection it doesn't. Commuter is the stronger case and also has a much better lip to protect the screen. That being said the commuter also makes the phone twice as thick whereas the slim armour is a bit more svelte. The slim is also easier to take on and off from the phone although the commuter isn't that difficult, it's just that you have to do it in two pieces.

Any cases like the Spigen Thin Fit?

I just got my s8 around 3 weeks ago and I'm currently using the thin fit case from spigen in black colour and I'm loving the grippy surface. however after around 2 weeks the rubber started peeling off in flakes and it's really annoying as i keep getting the flakes on my hand and in my pocket. Is this just my case or does this happen to all of the thin fit cases out there. and are there any other cases that feel almost exactly the same as this case? (slimness and the cutouts at the volume rocker and the power button)
here's how mine looks currently

I've been using this one for the past week.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XRW9K28/
hey thanks for suggesting, however, i really prefer the cutouts for the buttons as i like to feel the buttons click when i press them and that case does not have cutouts. thanks for replying tho!
Wow that picture is crazy. I've had the thin fit for many phones, never had that happen. There's only one logical explanation.

Either that, or you literally sweat battery acid from your palms. Amazing.
That's just being careless. Amazing how you can ruin a case in 3 weeks. It's full of scratches and holes.
RINGKE Slim. I got it when I had the S8+. I like this version better as it covers all four sides of the phone. Unfortunately I order for s8+ and got regular s8 case instead. Returned case for refund, eventually got rid of s8+ too. (I can never stick with one device for too long)
a little pricey but it goes on sale sometimes. meets a lot of your requirements. not sure how sticky the case is compared to the thin fit. my thin fit is almost too sticky

The holes are for the power, volume, and Bixby buttons, and for the camera/fingerprint scanner module.
I have one that is very similar to Spigen Thin Fit.
Actually, is even better on the texture (doesn't catch dirt) and even thinner.
I did had the same problems as you on the Spigen, the coating started to peel off on less than a month of use.

I am using the Spigen Thin fit and my finish on the phone is still very good. I used the same case on the 5x without having that happen. Had to be something you cleaned it with or just defective. However i ordered a carbon fiber case similar to it, real carbon fiber from Amazon. Can't wait.
Obviously way more expensive but based on the reviews i say worth it.
Try Galaxy S8 Case, VANSIN 3 In 1 Ultra Thin $9.99 /w 4.5 stars on 62 reviews. Also rubberized matte like Spigen Thin Fit.
I have the same problem. Not to the same extend, but it's certainly fading.
For now I live with it. Doesn't look to nice but still does it's job. And no, it's neither being careless nor acidic sweat. My phone sits in a desk all day or is in my pocket alone. From my guitar experience I can tell you for sure I don't have sweat that's any kind of wearing on materials. The quality of this cases finish is just sub par...

It has the same touch/coating as the Thin Fit, and it can become the same as in the opening post.
Mine started to peel like this, after once I've held it in my hand, while there were some sunscreen on my hand.

If you still haven't found a case, this is the one I'm using on my S8+, it's also screen protector friendly
Anccer Galaxy S8+ case
That's the case I'm using. Don't mind the price, it's actually a nice case. You also really feel the buttons click.

Try peel case. Extremely thin. Go youtube for videos.

My Spigen Slim Fit is doing the exact same thing after 2 months. I no longer see the slim fit on Spigen's site anymore, mby they know something is wrong with those cases. I have always used Spigen, but this is a total let down. That carbon fiber case looks great!

Curious how that gold plating holds up after use, or a small drop. If you purchased it can you give feedback or show actual pics of the case?
Thanks for recommendations
wish i saw this thread before i ordered the exact same case as the OP
mine's only a week old so far, so obviously no problems. but i'm familiar with this coating and i know it won't last (lots of computer mouse use this kind of coating)
