Kinda sux that i have to use another browser, but I guess I'll just deal with it.
I know flash worked with the stock browser on the Note 2, got no choice but to deal with it now.
Thank a lot

What's the best browser nowadays that still supports Flash? Chrome, stock and Opera Classic won't play Flash content.
Edit: Firefox is working well with Flash.

Dolphin browser. It is pretty and very easy to use. Very simple to understand and change the browsing settings.
Opera mini - no flash, fast, no time wasted
Opera mobile - load flash site freaking fast, smooth enough.

It night be labeled miren browser in the Market. Just beach xda as Idk if the full miui is usable in other roms.
It's fast and to me. The closest thing to a mobile Chrome.

This is a version of the miui browser. The theme isn't as awesome as on the Rom. But its very fast and has awesome shortcuts
Some stuff is still in Chinese on this one though.

Does Google chrome work on our phone?

I was in the play market and it said google chrome beta was not available for my device. I don't think that is true however if google chrome was on my phone would I be able to play the game Bastion?

Correct, no Flash support, and Adobe even said don't count on it happening. It's a shame, Android Chrome is great, just incomplete. Looks like it'll still be stock or Maxthon for me.
I'm using Chrome beta on Shostock2 RC6. I definitely prefer it over the regular browser. If you tap on a cluster of very small links (like the page forward/back buttons here on the forum), it brings up a zoomed popup and allows you to click the correct one.
I have chrome beta and it works fine I am on 4.0.3 ICS shostock2

I'm not digging chrome too much yet, personally. I found it little laggy and don't like the way it zooms when double tapped. It should improve with a couple more updates.
Chrome is a little overrated. I still prefer Dolphin over chrome.

Dolphin is good. I've been primarily using Opera Mobile for the last few months.
only if you're running Android 4.0.3+ ....
I had an old Galnet miui (first rom I tried, improper flash got me a yellow triangle following a novice tut) it had android 4+.
Typically the version depends on the rom? Any advantages over stock 236? I only wondered because I wanted to try Bastion on my phone.

I love chrome, it is one of the reasons I came to ICS. I have no lag issues on my phone.

Works great on Task's 4.0.4 AOKP rom.
I really like the way Chrome on my phone could see the tabs I had open on my laptop. Too bad I had bluetooth issues on all the ICS ROM's I tried and am back to GB for now.
Google Chrome
Runs fine on TurkbeyRom ics cream s.v5
Google Chrome works good on CM9

Yeah, having no issues with it either, and I'm running the same thing.
I am really enjoying Chrome on my AOKP 4/9/12 build. It installed straight from the Play Store without issues, and has performed flawlessly.

Android browser with browser tab

Anyone knows which version of Android browser has browser tab and supports flash.
All the tablets have it so why didn't Google or Samsung include it for phablet?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
Because Adobe dropped support for flash player.
You can hack it back in... I did with dolphin browser, which has tabbed browsing btw.

How did you get it to work with Dolphin? I thought that the flash plug-in option is disable?

Flash Player on Dolphin Browser HD
1) Install Adobe Flash Player.
2) Go into the root of your phones file system and find the "/data/data/mobi.geek.TunnyBrowser/shared_prefs" folder and delete "installed_plug_pref.xml" and "mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser_preferences.xml".
3) Dolphin Flash enabled (always on).
4) Go into the properties of the "shared_prefs" folder and uncheck the write option, so that the settings can no be reverted.

Working Adobe Flash Player

Found this app digging around online. Works great. Just install as regular app and make sure whatever browser youre using you have user agent set to desktop and flash player set to ondemand. Works with latest dolphin browser. Not sure it works with stock browser. I never use it.
!!!MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ADBLOCKER TURNED OFF OR IT WILL KILL FLASH FUNCTION!!! At least my hosts file did. Check in system/etc for host file.

By all means. Its the only one I found that actually worked. I mustve tried 10 different flashplayer files. Im not very pleased with the mobile format theyve gone to for streaming videos. Anyway, let me know how it worked out for you. Oh, did you check out the font app again? I remade it and put a bunch of other fonts in it. More than id ever care to use.

Puffin browser also works on KitKat with flash capabilities. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cloudmosa.puffinFree
I use Boat Browser since I love the real full screen function but if a flash video comes on that I want to watch I switch over to Puffin browser and it works like a charm.

Ya I've been using boat as well. Puffin is OK but they turn their flash capabilities off at peak usage hours for non paying users last I read. Fast browser though.

Chromecast for Chrome not working?

So previously you had to enable an unstable version of chromecast for chrome in order to cast html5 videos. A more recent update has built this in to chrome.
I have had no luck getting this to work. I am using chrome version 35.0.1916.141
I tried enabling, disabling, reenabling chromecast support from flags with no luck... what am I doing wrong?
