Looks great, thanks for the pictures. How long did it take to arrive after shipping? Mine was supposed ship today but didn't receive any confirmation. Now I'm worried that it won't be here in time for my N3 later this week.

Got any pics of the headphone jack area? I have studio monitor headphones with a huge jack, trying to see if they will fit... Thanks!

Not gonna lie. As thin as the case is, it sure does add some bulk to the phone. Also the port for the S-Pen is still snug and the the S-pen comes in contact with the case when you pull it out. Doesn't bother me though. Feels really good in the hands and the case fits like a glove.
Got the email from Amazon that it shipped on October 3rd and I received it today.

I just wish they'd commit to the Slim Armor View, they have 431 likes already.
How long ago did you order your's tungo0516? I may just order the Urban Armor Gear Navigator on principal at this point and wait and see if they make the Slim Armor View. The UAG is honkin' huge, but it's much better protection.

If you guys don't mind waiting, I can probably get pictures of the case installed on a black GN3, assuming my friend stops by tomorrow. If he does, I'll throw the case on his phone and snap some photos

Ordered September 16. Shipped October 3rd. Received today. iLoome tempered glass will be here this Thursday.
UAG is too big. This phone feels bigger in my hands than the Note 2 with the Samsung OEM case I had before, but feels so much better in the hand. I'm going to the Miami Heat preseason game this Friday. Can't wait to utilize that camera.

:good: very nice - exact one I have on the way 'cept red. Really dig the look.

How much contact? Enough to scratch the pen or the paint from the case?

that cut out for the spen hole looks hideous

It's bigger
It looks bigger than being naked. Maybe I gotta choose a slim case. S-View is out of my view. Because it's currently sold in Korea & China. I don't believe in cheap cases that made in China due to its low quality

can show some pictures on the 3.5mm aux jack?
Would like to see how big the opening is.
Thanks.

Does the case feel slippery? Or does it give you a better grip than going bareback?

Looks great! Thanks for the pics. Looking forward to mine in silver.
Is the back as fingerprint-prone as people say it is?
Also wondering about the grip. Is it a noticeable improvement over naked? Holding the phone naked is like holding an oversized bar of soap.

Does this case have enough of a lip around the back to protect the camera lens when on its back and enough of a lip to protect the screen while face down?

My Dante Red Neo-Hybrid comes in today or tomorrow, I can post picks of it on my black GN3.

Hi is the lip around the screen raised enough so that the screen don't touch the surface thanks for the pictures

How easy are the buttons to press? I know on some cases with built in buttons they are harder than a mother.....

Honestly, I believe it will scratch the pen if you pull it out too much. What I do is tilt the s-pen and pull it at a downward angle. Maybe it's just my case, but over time if you pull it out too much, scuffs on the pen will appear and the s-pen will look worn out.

Best flip case for the note?

I bet it does fit, as im pretty sure the discrepancy in size was probably an error in either measurement or conversion between metric and standard units. Every case people have bought for an international note so far has fit the at&t one, even the zenus capsule case, which is hard plastic.
The only things that do not work are replacement battery covers due to the difference in the location of the tabs, which what i linked to is not a battery cover.

I ordered one in red as soon as it gets here (which may be a while) I will verify if it fits the American version

I ordered this one, and while it's a bit expensive, it looks, feels, and is really nice.

I got my wife the tridea case from ebay, its pretty nice and offers better protection than most flip cases around the sides.
I got this case on amazon. Its the Khomo Executive flip case and I can honestly say that it's by far the worst case that you could spend (little) money on. it offers almost no protection aside from the soft felt stickers on the inside. its made from really cheap hard plastic and only snaps around the edges. after putting the phone in it the for the first time, i set it on a white painted bookshelf. it immediately took white paint transfer barely sliding it across the shelf. Im sure if i left phone in there much longer it would have transferred black scratches to my white Note. It barely closes shut and front flip overlaps the edges too far. Worst of all in the design of this is that it covers the volume key. One drop in this case would probably crack the plastic edges and break the phone. Ultimate fail case!!!

Was that meant to be helpful? There isn't always a correlation between price and quality. Most of us look for good quality at a good price.
I think the case looks nice. It's a shame it is so cheap and unuseful.

That's exactly what I was going for...good quality for a good price. It looked like what I wanted. And that would be a slim tough flip case that could handle a drop or fall and protect my phone. Sadly, this wasn't it, I'll keep trying to find it. I've got a quality case which is my daily but would like a flip style w/o the bulk.

looks nice! Executive and slim?
I know leather would be more scratch resistant but I've always felt the otterbox plastic/rubber was more drop proof!

Yeah. The Executive is all leather. Gives good protection but not as stiff.
The Slim has a hard shell and leather overlay. Better protection but more stiff. The Otterbox is excellent protection but more bulk. Depends on what you are looking for.

Exactly! otterbox should make a flipcase. And a slim one at that. Let us know what you think of these. I might have to forgo plastic for leather. If the slim leather fits well with nice corner protection, I'll be buying next.

Spigen Slim Aromor Case Review.

Just got it in today. Fits perfect. I also have the Neo-Hybrid, and comparing the two the Slim Armor fits better all around. It's more comfortable to me. The holes cut out are better centered, and the SPen cut out is perfect. No rubbing when removing or inserting it. Even though the back is hard plastic it's not really slippery in the hand as I thought it would be. The buttons are very easy to push and use. Overall I'm really happy with it. The color is Dodger Blue.

Yes. Very nicely tucked in there. There is also ridges at all four corners to protect the shine of the plastic when you put it down. That's a really nice touch. When you set it down on a surface those actually keep the phone up a bit. You can actually see under/through the phone if you look at it at table's height. Great quality case.
Great I'm excited to get it. I'm ready to return this cheap tpu case to Verizon. I wish with the white version's silicon wasn't black. Instead gray would keep the whiter scheme better.

Pretty nice, definitely a plus those back guards to keep from marring the finish on the case back. Guessing you got it on Amazon since they charge more on their own site, I'm thinking about their ultra slim case. Spigen seems to be very good quality from all the reviews on the site I've seen so far.

Literally the same setup I'm having. Waiting on the protector. Got the case yesterday as well. Fits very well. Tight, but easily comes off when you want it to.
I too, thought the hard plastic would be more slippery, but it has 'relatively' decent grip IMO.
Those little nubs on the back are definitely a nice touch.
The only issue I had was on the bottom where the speaker cut out is, there was a tiny flap/tag that wasn't cleanly cut when, probably separating from the mold when being made.
Simply took a little razor blade and sliced it off... Looks like it was never there.
Slate metal color.
A solid $20 investment. Would recommend.

The only thing on Spigen cases so far that I don't like is the hole for the headphones. Most headphones I have (and also extenders for my auxiliary port in my car) are all thicker, and don't fit in the small cutout. That said the headphones that come with the phone fit perfect, and a bought a $2 adapter for the car, it's all good. If you have an L shaped one you may need an adapter too, but not sure since I've seen many different lengths.
A note for anyone who watched that video review a couple posts back. You don't need to separate the two pieces. Mine slid on easy enough as one piece. Looking at the buttons I think if you pull it apart you're going to mess up the buttons somehow.

Incipio DualPro Case Review.

Here is my quick review of the new Incipio DualPro Case. First I want to say sorry for the blurry pics. Wasn't taken with the best camera, but I wanted to get this up now.
Right off the bat this case feels great. It's almost gel-like. It's made of a hard shell, and very soft inner part, but both feel the same. It's like a feltish feel. Reminds me of the Nexus One's back. Even though it was hard plastic, it had that soft touch feel to it. The buttons are extremely easy to press thanks to the soft inside material being the cover instead of the hard outer shell, or individual pieces like the Spigen Neo-Hybrid. The overall thickness is also less compared to both the Neo-Hybrid and the Spigen Slim Armor. It almost feels like the naked phone without a case.
The cutouts are spot on too. Just like the Slim Armor. No complaints overall. Again the headphone port has a deep cutout, so you will need an extension, or just use headsets with thin jacks. Anything larger than the headphones that came with it won't fit. The camera is tucked in just enough, so there is no fear of it contacting any surface when put down, and the front is thick enough to protect any sort of surface if laid face down. I'm really happy with this case. For me it's a toss up between the Slim Armor and this with the Neo-Hybrid last. Both the Slim Armor and DualPro feel great in the hand, but the DualPro feels a bit better with the super soft touch feel. Great case that you can't go wrong with. The color is Cyan.

Thanks for the pictures & review, this may be my kind of case. One question though, how is the gripping on the sides? All I need in a case now is one that provide sufficient grip, since the Note 3 is so thin and slippery on the sides that sometimes it literally slides off my hands/grip.
The grip on the sides Isn't super slick but I wouldn't call it grippy either. I'd try and check it out in a VZW store first hand. My only complaint is the TPU insert doesn't have much rigidity around the home button and the speaker. So it snags and doesn't stay snug so to speak.
I'm probably going to return mine when my Uag arrives

This is the only case so far that I'm really having an easy time holding. The Slim Armor was the best I thought, but this one is just a perfect increase in size over the naked phone. The rubbery texture is more than enough to grip. When you first put it on it may feel a bit slippery, but it's just the talcom powder they use in the molds for the silicone to be easy to get out. I wiped mine down, and now it's a soft rubbery grippy feeling case. I really like it a lot. Plus the sides are curved. There are no corners that you need to grip against like the Neo-Hybrid or Slim Armor. It's a very natural feeling to hold it since your fingers wrap the entire case. One bonus feature I found for me is the entire bottom is the very soft inner case, and the way I hold the phone I tend to put my pinky under the bottom as a brace. The soft gel really is easy on my finger. The other two case are hard on the bottom, and I would have to keep moving my pinky to stay comfy.

That's a good additon to mention. The top and bottom are both just the soft inner case. There is no hard outer shell to keep it pressed against the phone, so if you tend to put it in your pocket I can see it getting caught and pulled when you try to pull it out, but overall with it being on the case and used, it doesn't "wobble or flipflop" by itself. It's stiff enough to stay put, but easy enough to pull away with a slight tug.
Ah yeah I wasn't clear. It stays put until it snags coming in and out of my pocket. It's merely an annoyance.
My favorite thing about the case is how comfortable it is. Holding the phone naked now feels sharp and uncomfortable.

I'm special. LOL Yeah just as your edit said. I check sites daily, and when I see them in stock I order ASAP. That's how I get all my case in before everyone. I picked up a DualPro SHINE, Brushed silver color, from the Verizon store, They were able to pick up the day note3 came out. They still sell them, It's a the best over the counter case you can get IMHO at the moment.
How does this case compare to the spigen bounce? I just ordered the bounce to try it out.
I loved this case on my SG4 but it was a Lint & Dust magnent. I think there is a correlation with most cases....the grippier the case...the more dust and lint it will attract. Just got a UAG case for my new note 3 and it sits perfectly inbetween Grip and Lint spectrum!
Just ordered mine from amazon. How easy / not easy is it to quickly take off and put back on? Like if I wanted to swap batteries in my phone, would it be this whole ordeal? Thanks

It's very easy. One of the best cases if you need to do that. When it's on it's on good, but no fear of breaking something if you have to take it off.

My older brother had the Shine version of the Incipio DualPro for his Galaxy Note II and it was pretty bulky with no easy way to take it off. I have the Spigen Slim Armor for my Galaxy Note 3 and considered it superior until I noticed a crack in the armor yesterday. It has never been dropped so I am pretty sure that it was caused by taking the phone in and out daily. I do this carefully one side at a time and push through from behind (camera opening) but it happened anyway. I would hope that the Note 3 version of the DualPro is easier.
Also, it was rounded so it probably wouldn't fit a flat metallic plate insert like the nGroove Snap uses. He also tried it with a Qi wireless receiver I sent him and it doesn't work through the case. I hope the Note 3 version is thinner.

Spigen Slim Armor

Today I received my Spigen Slim Armor w/Air Cushion Technology. Sorry, I wanted to post a link to the Amazon page so everyone could see what it looks like, but you will all have to Google/Amazon it
First impression is that it fits snug and has great cutouts. There is a full rubber cover and then a hard shell that wraps over the middle portion of the rubber cover. The hard shell is a bit slippery but overall it is a well put together case and leaves more than enough space for a tempered glass screen protector. The only unfortunate thing about this case is that there is a hole where the buttons on the back of the phone are, really wish there was a cover for the buttons as well but I have yet to see such a case, like the Otterbox cases for the LG G2.
Overall it is a good case and worth the price.
I purchased this case a the Verizon store when I got my phone, overal great case offeres good protection while keeping the phones slimness, just an fyi if you order the white one it has like a shimmery look, my wife says It looks like it's for a woman
I have this case too and I like it. FYI the white case is just as shimmery as the OEM white backplate. Hell, Spigen calls it "Shimmery White..." Oh and it's $9.99 right now.

Ohh that one. I actually have that one too...LOL. I couldn't decide so I got both. AND then I saw the post for the OEM LG Slim Guard case (http://www.expansys-usa.com/lg-slim-guard-case-for-lg-g3-white-262017/) and bought that too. So now I'm going to have 3 cases and 2 OEM Qi enabled cases....:silly:
I have the charcoal one and love it! Back isn't slick to me...unlike the protection and slimness
I have the Spigen Slim Armor in Metal Slate and I'm extremely happy with it. Low profile, lightweight, and the cutouts are spot on.
I bought the Incipio Dual Pro case at the store when I got my G3, and I consider the Spigen to be much better. While the Dual Pro does seem to protect the phone very well, the ridges along the side are so high and protrude so far onto the face of the phone that it makes it nearly impossible to swipe from the left to access the menu in most apps. Even though I have huge hands, I find it a challenge to hit the upper left part of the screen with my right thumb on the G3, so using the swipe from the left side is essential to me. It's not an issue with the Spigen Slim Armor, as it does not extend far enough onto the face of the phone to get in the way. :good:
Which one of the Spigen's do you like better?
I'm also rocking this case.. overall i'm happy with it. Very slim and fits snuggly.
Only downfalls are the back is a little slick. not a big deal. Theirs not covers over the buttons, on my g2 I had a balistics case that covered the buttons which was nice. The only thing that really bothers me about this case is where the ubs and headphone jacks plug in. the edges on the case are somewhat sharp. I hold my phone in a way that it rests on my pinky finger, and its irritating to say the least. Maybe its just me and my big hands..
Just picked up this case as well as I can't stand the built in screen protector on my Supacase Beetle Unicorn due to the dead spots. So going naked for the screen, but will have this case on it. My wife has one on her g2 and always liked how it felt.

That works too.
I just picked up one from amazon and I like it. I had the Best Buy one but I change cases like I change my shorts. I'll probably buy another one in the next few weeks for a different look.
Sent from my VZW LG G3 (tapatalk)
Had to send mine back because it kept coming off my phone
I have the SlimArmor in Blue
For me its slipperly and the back scracthes pretty easy

Mines pulls away too. Thought it just was the way it was due to the screen getting so close to the edge and the case not having much to hold on to.
Great Protection BUT
I purchased the Slim Armor case. Really like the look and the fit (stays in place and doesn't cover the screen). My only issue is the depth of the power and volume keys. With the case, they are recessed almost 1/8th of an inch. This makes it harder to use both.

I disagree about the recessed buttons. I find it makes it very easy to find the buttons and avoid touching the camera lens. Also, I have long skinny fingers and am able to use the device comfortably with one hand. This phone isn't for people with small hands...

Kickstand case?

Anyone have suggestions or links?

Took a month or 2 to see kickstand cases show up on Ali and eBay when I purchased my M10 lcd.Waiting myself.
One of the official cases comes with a kickstand. I ordered one and should get it today. Not the best ever, but we don't have many options at the moment.

Hows the case? I'm looking to get one myself but not sure as there's not many cases with a kickstand. Things i wanna know is, is the silicone a finger print magnet and does it pick up lint easy

That is where I ordered mine. You can probably find it cheaper somewhere because that is expensive. I just wanted my pen, case and phone to come in one order. And not many places are selling cases yet, especially since I ordered it October 27th. I can't tell you anything personally yet because I had some issues with DHL and originally using a PO Box. They called me once, I gave them a physical address. The guy that was supposed to first deliver it didn't read the updated note and marked it not deliverable. I called, and the lady said she saw the note and said he must have read the original address and not checked the update. So after about two hours, I got a notification it was on hold. I called again and another guy told me she put the information in wrong, blah blah. So he told me it would be delivered Wednesday. I told them why does it have to be Wednesday now, why not Tuesday when I should have had it Monday. So he looked in his system and tried, and it is supposed to be delivered Tuesday with an URGENT tag. It's been a hassle, but should be worth it. Pictures of the case from online attached...
Here is a cheaper site...

So I received my order. The case is very finger print resistant. It's made better than it looks in my opinion. The kickstand spring is snappier than you would think being so small. The kickstand snaps back into place with a magnet. The only part that worries me is the thin rubber piece between the charging port and screen. Hopefully that doesn't break too easily. The inside is like a velvet coating. The phone does come with a clear rubber case that feels tacky so it has good grip. It also comes with a plastic screen protector to start you off.
Edit... The phone also came with a screen protector already put on for me. Nice. They did a good job centering it too.

I haven't used the pen a lot yet. I'm still setting my phone up. I customize a lot and use widgets more than the average person. But from what I've used it seems okay. It has a different feel on the glass than Samsung's S-Pen. It's like smooth metal over glass is the best way to describe it. And it feels much better holding an actual pen over the toothpick sized S-Pen. The M-Pen has a charging port the same as the phone. It took me a day to notice it as I was messing with the phone more.

Mate 20x kickstand
Hi for you guys who has bought the back case with kickstand. How was it? Worth it? It is true there is magnetic plate inside the cover so that it can stick to car magnetic mount?

I think the kickstand is solid, more than it looks. The stand part is snappy, and yes it has a little magnet in it. I noticed it when I set it on my wash machine. I literally just went right now and tested it to give you a good idea, and it's strong enough to hold the phone against the side of the wash machine.
This looks good with both functions of kickstand and magnet. Though it will be shipped from China.

I have this same case it feels pretty good plus to me the kickstand gives the phone screen a good view when it's kicked out.
Finally received one of my cases I ordered from Ali. The redwood look one . Fits great and you can find the fps a lot easier than the OEM case. Still waiting for the kickstand cases to show upon Ali to order. I haven't seen anything yet
Here is another one I found:
