Hmmm... I'll check the updater script , you are using a T-Mobile phone right? It does make a difference, that's why I have to build 4 separate Roms all the time
Anyone else on tmob having this issue? I'm on vzw so i have no clue about any probs lol
Edit: updater script looks correct... What is your ro.product.device in your build.prop on your factory software?

[ROM][SGH-I777][4.0.4] CyanogenMod 9 nightly builds | DISCUSSION THREAD

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:

* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

First time installing CyanogenMod 9 to your AT&T Galaxy S II (SGH-I777), or coming from another ROM:
- READ FAQs: http://teamhacksung.org/wiki/index.php/Experimental:GT-I9100:Frequently_Asked_Questions
- Make sure you're running SGH-I777 bootloaders only (only the ones that are specifically released for the SGH-I777 -- official Gingerbread bootloaders work fine!) and a proper working CWM like the one from CM7
- Copy GApps and CM9 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work)
- Reboot
- Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9:
- Copy CM9 ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Wipe cache partition and dalvik-cache
- Reboot

Post 4 or 1st post after atinm! Yay!
Battery life is better than when we first had kernel sources.
Good job.
I looked through the FAQ as well as known issues can't seem to find a couple problems that I am having.
1) Having to reboot my phone every couple hours due to slowdowns
2) Might be related to 1, but the accelerometer fails after an undetermined amount of time and the phone refuses to rotate unless I actually slam it into my hand. A reboot resolves it.
3) The ICS Keyboard doesn't seem to be as responsive on the Nightly build here compared to the original ones that were out before our Nightlies were released.
4) At least in Facebook, under notifications I no longer can actually select them, it's as if something moved the "button" you normally hit, up to a small miniscule part. Facebook hasn't released an update and it did work fine in the previous non nightly version so I'm assuming it might be the nightlies. Definitely not a priority but slightly irksome. (Looks like this might be an App issue, not a OS issue.)
Installation failed
I'm getting a message in CWM -

Yeah, my Facebook notifications don't work either. I'm still a little upset over the SMS notifications not waking the screen. That's really all I want fixed.
I would assume that since the official ICS for the i777 has been leaked, virtually all of these issues will go away.
Been running the first nightly since task650 posted it from the Ported Dev. forums. Excellent start for the i77, I must say.
There are some small nags though. For example, pressing on any menu in the Settings and I see slowdowns in terms of the selection highlights. The blue highlight seems to hesitate when it fades.
Thanks dude!
I just wanted to chime in to let you know that the Facebook issue is occurring on the Shostock ICS rom RC3 for me. So it may not be CM9 related.

Hrm, I don't recall it not working for me under Task650's CM9 build from 3/23 so that's why I thought it was new. I'll see if I still have my Nandroid backup and try to see if it still exists there or not. If it does, looks like I'll have to figure out a way to contact facebook support (I think I will have better luck slaying a dragon)

I know FB can now roll out changes without updating the App so it is possible they messed up something. Their mobile site still works perfectly. Good to know.

Hmmm let me try and see if the same thing happens to me
Edit, nope Verizon HTC one does not do it...
What's happening is something is wiping your dv cache or regular cache on every boot... Did you use titanium backup? You could try wiping your caches in recovery ... Anyone else have this problem?
Sent from my One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Mine doesn't do it either. Did anyone read the post about how changing the device in build.prop from m7att to m7 the front facing camera is fixed. I can confirm there is no hue. Just an FYI.

Hmmmm.... I did not but good to know... I don't think I have a blue hue prob but I'll change it and see if the pics are the same
Edit: So I took a front pic of my face and then changed ro.product.device from m7vzw to m7, rebooted, and took a picture.... Poof nice clear photo...
So (I think) I changed ro.product.device at the source code level, and I'm building a test ROM now... I'll let you guys know what's up

my guess is a conflict between helium and 4.3.1, or possibly something you have set inside helium... a setting perhaps
truth is i hate all those auto backup apps, i think they are the devil and cause way more problems than time they save... just pick and chose what data you want to back up from the /data folder and re- add when you wipe... and you only have to do that when switching roms...
just my personal opinion....
on a side note, UPDATES

Trying to switch from cmw to twrp through goomanager it says no recovery for your device. Not sure if it had anything to do with goo or the rom.

Procedure
If you are coming from a different ROM, data/factory reset is mandatory. If you are flashing over a previous Liquid build, cache wipe will be sufficient.
You will need to flash the latest recovery ( CWM or TWRP )
A nandroid backup is recommended prior to flashing Liquid in case you get into problems.
Flash ROM from recovery. Reboot.
Reboot to recovery and flash GApps.
Flash this file to gain Exfat Support:

With such a feature list, this can only be great
Awesome ROM, even awesome developer. Thanks Sean for getting this to official state so fast.
Thanks for the support of mega.
Please can you include french language in the rom ?
I9200 users may not be able to flash this because of the device assert lines in the updater script. So if you wanna flash, remove those lines from the script.
Sean is planning on making separate builds for I9200 & I9205, so till that happens, use the procedure above.

I have now uploaded a i9200 and i9205 build they are in separate downloads in the op
I have like @Silesh.Nair mentioned added the assert lines back into the updater script so you do not flash the lte on the 3g and vis versa this will make it so i9200 users will not need to change their default mobile network from lte to 3g, and any future devicce specific changes will applied.
Here is a benchmark for this ROM for those interested.

any possibility of getting a working version for SGH-M819N ? I tried flashing the i9205 version and it fails to flash. this is the first ROM that wont flash.

Lots of models. I think every model except at&t mega which has a locked bootloader. One that comes to mind is SGH-i527M.
When do you upload new build? Nightly or weekly? Thann you so much

It should be weekly.
The i527m like Silesh.Nair has mentioned as that is the version i have and will test this latest rom and see if it works on the i527m now as if it works on the i9205 it usually works on the i527m model. :good:
Update: Tried to flash the rom and it failed..so it looks like the i527m will have to be added to the assert line also.

Are u having N5100???
If yes then extract the recovery zip go to meta-inf -->com--> Google --> android then open updater-script using notepad
Then remove this lines
Code:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "N5100" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "N5100" || abort("This package is for \"N5100\" devices; this is a \"" + getprop("ro.product.device") + "\"."););

Because this is an AOSP based ROM, Google Apps are not included. Flash the gapps of your choosing after you flash the ROM. If you need help finding a gapps package, ask any of us and we'll be happy to help
5.1.X Slim GApps
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST 5.1.X COMPATIBLE RECOVERY.
Detailed instructions:
Going to EOS 5.1.X from another ROM:
Boot to recovery
BACKUP YOUR CURRENT SETUP!!!
Make a full wipe (Dalvik, Dalvik Cache, System, Data)
Flash the ROM
Flash optional kernel if you choose to not use provided kernel **We DO NOT support outside kernels**
Flash gapps
Reboot
Updating from an older EOS build to new EOS build:
You can usually skip the full wipe step and just wipe both caches. If ever you encounter an issue make sure you make a full wipe first before reporting it. This is what most call "Dirty Flashing". Normally this doesn't cause problems, but keep in mind a clean flash is always the best way to go.

Are you running Titanium Backup? I remember having an issue like that a year or so ago on a different phone. It seemed it was something to do with play store updating? The only other time anything similar has happened for me was when phone was initially restoring my apps from google servers. I had to wait 5-10 minutes until all google apps were updated.

OK will try them but in the post above I am using tb to convert some apps into system apps which I have on other ROMs should I not use it or is there some other app to convert them
Do one step at a time. Just flash gapps and check the play store. Restore and check, etc.
Been running this for a few days. Up on nightlies shortly.
Latest nightly is 4.4.3...
And I got it optimized to build with 4.8 linaro from here on out.
