Auto call from messaging app - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Does anyone know if they removed the feature where you are in messaging app in a conversation and then hold the phone to ear and it automatically dials that person? I can't seem to find it.

Thanks. I actually had it enabled. I guess I turned it on when I went through the settings real quick and didn't even realize it. It wasn't working, I had to toggle it off and back on to get it to work.

[Q] What is this?

I've never seen this icon before on any previous Android phone I've had, anyone know what it means?
Noise suppression. There is a setting under call > additional settings

Vmail icon

I have the vmail icon stuck on the screen. I have my vmail setup and there are no messages I don't even have saved messages. I have rebooted the phone. Did a battery pull.
Not sure what else to try.
Its the TMO variant.

Settings > Application Manager > All > Voicemail > Clear data.
If it's still there after that just hit force stop.

Yep. It was the whole call myself thing and reset it. Kind of dumb

[Q] Custom Vibrate Pattern?

Is there any way to customize the vibrate patterns on LGOG? I checked in settings but I don't think I see such options.
I just hate the default long vibration.
Settings, sound, vibrate type.

Wow, so this mean that the Sprint version of LGOG has this option but the ATT one doesn't? That sucks..
I never would have guessed software would be different between the two. Oh well I still love my new phone

I use the "SMS Popup" app which allows you to do custom vibrations for receiving texts. You can specify the milliseconds for vibration on/off. Mine is "0,200,100,200,100,200,100,200" for 4 quick vibrations.

Does it allow you to use the default SMS app? I really like the stock one on here

Yep. It just replaces the default SMS notifications.

Kind of reviving an old thread here, but I've only had my phone a couple weeks...
I wanted mine to vibrate longer so I tried SMS popup after reading this thread. The vibe pattern stuff worked ok but I found a few downsides (didn't seem to be able to activate the notification LED, seemed to deactivate the lock screen sms icon 'new messages' indicator) and our phones' built-in sms popups seemed a little more useful (but uglier) to me, so I stopped using it.
Today I stumbled on "AutomateIt" which can trigger events on incoming SMS, and one of the actions is vibrate of a custom length (not patterns). That seems to work pretty well for me and I can probably make use of some of its other features as well.

[Q] Change default call handler?

Hey everyone,
I'm hoping there's a way to do this that I'm not seeing, but it's looking grim. I use Skype for all my calls and on my Nexus 4, I am able to set the phone dialer to dial out using Skype (it pops up and gives me the option to set a default when I make a call). I just got my DNA, and I want to do the same thing...but no option. Is this a Sense thing? Thanks in advance!
Can you not set it up through the internet call settings.

From what I understand, that's only for if you pay for SIP service (something with Skype Connect)...which I don't. I just use the app.
On the N4, the phone app gives me the option to dial out using Skype, or any other call-capable app like GrooVeIP.

Turn off notifications in a call

Can someone please tell me where is the option to turn off notifications during a call..
Thank you.

if the setting is not there, then your phone provider may be removed those options, I know some did.
