[Q] Google Play "Error 920" (app) could not be downloaded due to an error - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I seem to always get this error when restoring my Google account back to my Sprint Galaxy Note 3. I upgraded from the GS3 and this was never an issue.. Google play starts off fine but always starts to error out midway into the restore process and I get flooded with this error message for each app that it's trying to restore "Google Play "Error 920" (app) could not be downloaded due to an error"
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks

If you delete the cache for the play store app it should fix it. If it is downloading a whole mess of apps you might have to do it multiple times followed by a restart.

There was a problem with the google play store. I was going nuts with this until I called Sprint. It seems to have been resolved. Reboot if you are still having problems.

[Q] Google Play "Missing Apps" Issue

Hello,
My problem is identical to the one show here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377514
Basically, when you go to "My Apps" in google play, it just says "Applications and Games owned by this account will appear here."
I am unable to download previously purchased apps.
I have tried ALL the solutions on that thread to no avail.
It happened after I upgraded my Rom to a newer version (hydrogenics 23/03 to 25/03) but I doubt it is ROM related, since flashing back to the backup of my 23/03 rom does not resolve the problem.
My Google Play app is on the latest version (3.5.15) which is supposed to solve this issue.
I am really desperate and at a loss. Anyone can help?
Link them from titanium backup market doctor
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 Beta-4
I have tried that. Does not help
Have that problem to, google play only shows the installed apps you bought and not the not yet installed ones. Type the name of the app in the market search bar and you can download and install it and then it shows up in the installed apps list.
At least for me it worked

The thing is, the purchased app doesn't even say "purchased". It just states the price like I have never purchased it at all.
Then when I try to "purchase" it again, it gives me a 403 error.
When I override it with the old Android market (2.3.6) it works fine.
Do note that even with Google Play in the Browser the same problem persists (Purchased apps are not shown as purchased, but purchase history is seen in Google Wallet, trying to purchase them again gives me an error, similar to what happens in the phone). Seems to be a problem on Google's end but I don't know why. I have emailed them but they have yet to reply.

Try clearing the data in google play in settings, apps, all. Load google play and close after it has loaded it and open it again. Your apps should now be visible

Haha that's the first thing I tried. Like I said, weird thing is, even on the browser on my computer the issue persists with the purchased apps, let alone the "My Apps" list.
It's so frustrating I'm about to smash the darn thing

I think it is ROM related. Paradoxxx (Hydrogenics' dev) was aware of it anyway.
I had this problem on his 29/03 version, did a full wipe (wipe data/wipe cache/dalvik/format system) and installed the 31/03 version, all was fine.

Problem with Google Play Store Purchases

I tried to order Ski Safari using play store on my SIII but I got an error that it can not download the game and I have to check status in google wallet. I checked in google wallet and it was saying that my order was cancelled and I would get the refund in 24 hours. I tried to buy this game through play store website and I got error that they can not process do to technical reasons. The error is attached here.
Is anybody else experiencing this? This was my first purchase after updating my SIII to new stock rom. All previous purchases were fine.
I tried a couple of different apps but same issue.
Are you sure it's compatible with ICS as there are lots of them that aren't.

No data or wifi connection

I'll try to keep this brief.
My wife and I both have stock standard HTC Aria's running Android 2.2. A few days ago my wife complained that her battery was discharging really fast. Then a day later mine started doing the same thing.Going flat in a few hours of standby. Normally at the end of the day they would both still have 8 out or ten bars still lit. I turned off wifi, mobile and bluetooth on both phones and that seemed to fix the battery problem.
Now when I turn on wifi or 3g I cant connect at all. My wifi router shows up in settings but it constantly is scanning-connecting-disconnecting. Also cant connect to 3g.
I have tried another sim card but the problem is the same.
As I said, these phone aren't rooted in any way. Have very few apps. Basically used as a phone.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Maybe you can try a new battery. Or, if you still have warranty, give it back to service.

You can try a factory reset as a last resort

Thanks dansou but the problem is not the battery. I believe the power was draining because an app was trying , constantly, to access the wifi which will not connect.

Just did a factory reset and everything seems ok.
Just one other problem: When I log in to google play it is showing that I have 2 apps installed (airdroid and astro) These are no longer on my phone but google doesn't want to believe that. I've tried to trash them and tried installing them but nothing happens. It just says "These apps will be un/installed shortly"
Any thoughts?
Thanks

You may have already tried this, but maybe a reboot would do the trick. If rebooting doesn't help, you can use a file manager to take a look into Data>Apps or System>Apps and see if you can find their .apk files there and delete them. If you aren't rooted, you won't be able to delete them, and I'm not sure what you should do if that happens. If they aren't there, then it's probably just a graphical glitch and is showing what really isn't there.
EDIT: Sorry, I read your post wrong. Go into the app details of Google Play Store and select both clear data and clear cache, and that should solve the problem. If not, try rebooting.

Oh my bad, I wasn't really clear about that. It's actually in your phone settings, not the settings in the Play Store.
So you open up Play Store in 'Manage Applications' as if you were trying to uninstall it. In that menu, you'll see options like Force Stop/Disable. Scroll down, and you'll see the 'Clear data' and 'Clear cache' options, and there ya go. I hope I explained it well.

If it's showing that only on the website, you shouldn't have to worry about it... It does that
It's probably showing them for the "old" one, before you did a factory reset

Oh I see now. I'm sorry, I thought you were saying that the phone was showing it.
Like WinSuk said, I don't see the problem if it's only showing it on the website. It could be showing what's installed on your wife's Aria if you two are sharing an account.

Sorry, I'm getting a bit confused here.
The apps that I mentioned; Airdroid, Astro, google play etc are showing as being installed on the google play web site. These apps are no longer on my phone after I did the factory reset. Therefore I have no way to reinstall the apps as google play is telling me they are already installed.
Is there another way to do this? Can I dl the apk files from somewhere else and install them manually?
Thanks again for all your help

You don't have the Play Store installed on your phone? If that's the case, you need to search up on google to find the apk file for it. Once you do that, you should be able to install the other apps you've mentioned.
Sorry if I misunderstood you again. I'm getting pretty confused here also.

Update:
I managed to install airdroid and Astro through Android Market app (was that the precursor to play store?)
Now when I log in to google play it shows those two apps as installed. Everything else is showing in "other apps in my library" waiting to be installed. I think I'll leave it at that. My airdroid is working again :good:
Thanks for every ones help.

It'll eventually update automatically on your phone and change back to the Play Store

[Q] cm11 "Your device isn't compatible"

After updating my nook tablet 8G to cm11 (cm-11-20131224-NIGHTLY-acclaim.zip), google play shows "Your device isn't compatible" for some apps that I've used on cm10.1.3. One example is automateit pro. I was able to restore the app using titanium backup and it will run but I'm not able to update it.
Google play doesn't give much of a clue as to why its not compatible. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?
Todd
I've seen this error on some recent 10.2 builds as well, and with fairly common apps e.g., Amtrak, Flightview, etc.
I have the same problem with CM11-20140226-NIGHTLY-acclaim.zip. How to fix it?

the app store at www.1mobile.com is a clone of play store and has never complained about app compatability for me.
it occassionally fails on updating an app, but in general it works just fine.

[Q] Cannot activate the Play Store

So I sideloaded the Play APK from Android Police, but after putting in my Google account information, it tells me "Couldn't sign in: There was a problem communicating with Google servers. Try again later". I have internet connection, and have tried waiting a couple hours. Google and Youtube work fine. This is very frustrating to me since I can't do much without play apps...

I'm going to double check it by flashing all three of my TS's to stock but as recent as 1AM today I've not had and play store install issues. It may be a play store server side issue which I've seen more than once. Even my all my Nexus devices have done this from time to time.

Thank you. I wanted to let you know I've flashed the latest update that you posted today (as an aside, the version still reports its the 02/21/2014). Anyway, still no play store. Same errors. OK with Nexus 7/ 4/Memo Pad(s). Do you think it could have something to do with the two-step verification process I've initiated with my Google account? Maybe the TS doesn't work well with that? Should I try to flash back to stock. Try again?

It was the Google two-step verification process. It's not bothered any of my other devices, but the TS didn't agree with it. As soon as I disabled it, Play Store is up and active. Thank you for your help and quick responses Lokifish Marz. Have a great evening.
Thanks! I removed 2-step verification, and then did a factory reset since there appears to be no other way to remove an account from the TrueSmart. When I redid everything, Play worked.
