Can i hv a screenshot of your drawer?

First thank you to your efforts ...
To customize the homescreen with one click is one of the best ideas so far, however it would be a nice idea if there would be an option to use another launcher at the app drawer for various reasons...
I didnt find a possibilty , yet

um because they don't own nova or apex?

We're working on a bunch of enhancements to the app drawer. We know this a place where there are virtually no options.

I think the best solution would be this: since we are downloading themes, the icon pack which is used in the theme should be part of the download (as an option) so the app drawer will match the theme.
The theme creator should upload the icon pack when uploading a theme, this way it can automatically theme the app drawer as well.

Good start, but it should be optional whether to use the included icons or a 3rd party .apk. Nova/Apex etc. Compatibility with these icon packs should be a no-brainer since they already exist.

I was hoping to be able to use an nova action or shortcut to open the launcher directly from themer but it appears nothing like that exists. If you guys can improve the launcher in time though that would be great as 4x4 grid doesn't work for me. I understand it's only beta and there's probably a million other things to work on before that so keep up the good work

What happens if we freeze twizz with titanium backup and only have nova installed? Will themer then use nova or will we end up in the doodoo?

you could link to the MIUI app drawer app through a hotspot right?
that way you can customize your app drawer.
or you could wait for the themer developers to integrate it into the launcher.

Launcher Pro App drawer

HI does anyone know how I can change the app drawer in lp?
I searched but I wasn't successful.
Maybe is there an app that contains several different drawers so I can assign that app on launcher pro?
Please reply.
Thanks in advance
I'm no expert, but you can use alt drawer, and assign the shortcut in LP
There are several apps (for free!) on the market and elsewhere that you can use as alternative app drawers, which you can download and set as the shortcut where the LP app drawer shortcut would be normally. I was using LP+ for a while with the app drawer shortcut set to open my stock app drawer (Motoblur on a Droid2 Global) and it worked just fine.
It would really be great if LP had an option to customize the drawer aside from size, though... GO Launcher wins that category, in my opinion.

Can you name me some good apps please.
And do you know how I can get the xperia style app drawer, where all the apps are on a transparent glass and you just swipe horizontally to move onto another page. It would be great if I can do this.

If that is what you want you can use a theme, there must be a glass theme i guess. In LP you can already swype in the app drawer from one page to the next one, or is that in Go Launcher? (I dont use LP since a while ago and cannot remember correctly) In Go Launcher you can choose to swype horizontally or vertically, also you can apply any of the lots of themes and there is a glass one
If this does not satisfy you you can use Altdrawer as somebody said above, here is the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154299&highlight=altdrawer
AltDrawer is definitely a good one, and I'm sure there are others. GO Launcher Ex is a really good option too. I'm using it right now and there's tons of support for themes and customization, including the app drawer.
I don't link Alt Drawer since it takes long to start up and most importantly it does not even look like the xperia style app drawer.
btw does anyone know of any good glass themes for lp?
I use "all apps organizer" with launcher pro and it works perfectly

Just go into the market and search for launcher pro themes there you can see how they look like.
But I'm sure the themes only edit the widgets not the app drawer, that's from what I know

The themes also replace the app icons for examle the ios theme changes all the icons to ios style so also the icons in the app drawer will be changed.
Why dont you just try? If you dont like it you can just remove it

Thread moved to Q&A due to it being a question. Would advise you to read forum rules and post in correct section.
Failure to comply with forum rules will result in an infraction and/or ban depending on severity of rule break.
Guys its ok I decided not to use the app drawer but instead put all app shortcuts in the homescreen (I got this idea when I tried the MIUI launcher).
However does anyone know how I can add the app drawer shortcut in the desktop not the dock so that I can open the app drawer and create a shortcut for newly installed apps.
I have research this... and no,you cannot add app drawer shortcut on homescreen. Sorry.
Leave a thanks if I helped...

Just use Apex or ADW (New version kicks ass)..
Hide the docks, use multiple screens and have it place an icon on the desktop for new applications.
Be like iOS but with widgets.. Ain't seen anything with no app drawer really.. Those Windows launchers maybe?

Dude, seriously, if you don't want to move your finger a few times at initial setup and keep replying "I want this ONLY", do it yourself.
You've been offered a bunch of alternatives that will behave just the way you want, except that they'll need 5 minutes of your time to set up.
Lightening Launcher
Taken a look at Lightening Launcher?
Buy an iPhone?
Is there a launcher that looks like this?

What's everyone using as a launcher?

Just curious if people prefer stock or a replacement launcher?

Nova.
I used ROM Cleaner to remove the sense launcher.
Ha I was also wondering this. Was just about to ask and saw this thread. I was wanting to make a sleek simple homescreen and someone said I couldn't change icons with stock launcher.
How easy is it to switch back and forth between launchers?
As easy as installing from the play store and running it.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
But would it keep all the settings. Like could you set up two different launchers and have them set the way you want. Then just feel like going to a different look one day just because you feel like it lol.
Yes. A launcher is just an app like any other app. Settings get saved.
Nova, have used it since I got my Galaxy S2. Love it easy backup/restore change icons individually, and more!
Just installed Nova Launcher and gotta say its pretty cool. Here's what I created. Just two questions. Can nova launcher make the status bar clear? And I used simple text to change icons on the dock but it has black background behind the words. Can I make that clear somehow.
I use apex launcher and as nova
It's amazing, I had no trouble changing plenty of phones while keeping my layout

ive been a nova user for quite sometime , however ive been using stock on the one.
Guess im the only one who actually likes and uses blinkfeed =]

Action Launcher - allows minimalist approach, very fast to select apps. And Blink Feed app from appstore switches back into sense launcher so I can go back and forth.
Apex
This may be the perfect place to post this:
Does anyone know of a launcher (or can creat one) that is JUST the Sense 5 app drawer?
i.e: unlock your phone, and hit the app drawer button: THAT is ALL I want to see.

I've always liked the stock launchers over Nova, Apex, etc. Although I did enjoy them on CM roms on the One X when I had it. Usually I'm not a fan of stock Android. I've always much preferred the manufacturer skins.
I love sense 5 too much to switch

What kind of style do you like for icons? I personally like this theme https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.go.launcherex.theme.kxnt.glasklart, the drawer icons are nice and the overall theme is well done.

Themer 'Smart Launcher' Style App Drawer?

Just thinking how cool it would be if themer had the choice to change the style of app drawer, maybe with a smart launcher style auto-categorize, that along with the option of applying icon packs just to the drawer. Also, lastly, am i the only one who would gladly pay for the use of themer? if it would mean improving the quality of the app?
