If we can pick any .png in the Themer everything widget, why is it not possible to go the same way for creating folder icons?
I want to create a propper folder where I can drag and drop apps into, and be able to configure it like in the Themer widget.
or am I overseeing the posilibity to create a folder through the Themer Everything creator?

editing icons

So can I go into apks on my PC and replace the icon.PNG inside with a different one and put it back on my phone? I just like all of my icons to be themed the same on my homescreen. Thanks.
Basically, if it's a system apk you can just use 7-zip to replace the icon.png file then push it back to system.
If it's a market apk you'll have to re-sign the apk after you change the icon.
I use autosign.bat, got it off of xda somewhere, android themes maybe.
Cool thanks I will look into doing this. Its he one reason I liked using ads launcher. For themed icons.

Mclock XML files

Hey there everyone. Since XML files that are shared on the official mclock thread don't work due to our low screen resolution i decided to make this thread so that kind and creative people could share there mclock designs.
To share an XML file you first need mclock. You then create a clock using the millions of settings mclock has. After you have created your clock you go to the mclock config menu by clicking on your clock widget and click on save as template. Now you transer the file to your computer and attach it to your reply.
Have fun creating your designs!

How to change Nova Launcher folders size?

Is it possible to change the folders size in Nova Launcher? When i create folder it is created with bigger size then the app icons and it looks ugly. I played with the settings but i couldn't find option for changing folders size.
Also, is it possible to change the folder grid from 2x2 to 3x3 and get the same functionality as the folders in iOS?
You can just choose the None option for the folder background so it won't have it icon. It'll just appear as floating app icons but will still have a background when you open the folder. There isn't an option to change the grid size though.
Is there a app that can create folders in the same way they are created in iOS and work on Nova Launcher? One Launcher can do this but i like to use Nova Launcher.
This might work https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.abcOrganizer.lite
I already have tried this app but it doesn't do what i want. As basic functionality it cover the iOS folders, but in details, and i like details, it doesn't come close to the iOS folders functionality. Like adding apps with drag and drop, open the folder and swiping the apps pages inside it, the look and feel are not as the iOS at all.

[Q] How to create an icon pack that uses Bitmaps?

I saw few tutorials that guides on how to create an icon pack for Nova, Arrow, etc. I find they drop the icons in res/drawable folder and refer to it on XML. I wanted to know if it is possible to create icon pack from icons loaded as "Bitmap" or "Drawable" in an Activity. If possible how to do so? Thanks in advance.

How to create folders with chrome and android apps and put them on to the shelf

So everybody says that it's impossibile to add folders to the shelf, but it is not true any longer on condition you have a touch enabled chromebook with the google play store enabled.
Just download Jina Drawer and you'll be able to create Jina folders. Then create as many folders as you like and follow the instructions to add the folders to the home screen... Then you'll find the folders inside the chromebook launcher: just long press on them and add to the shelf. Choose transparent theme and close folder once an app has started.
With this first step you can add any android app to the shelf.
Regarding chrome apps, apart from the file manager and chrome remote desktop and few others (which cannot be added to the folders), they are basically links to urls, so you can donwload More shortcuts, which will let you create shortcuts inside any Jina folder. You'll just have to manually add the icons.
Here's how it looks

Edit: for the remote desktop, you can alternatively use the beta link https://remotedesktop.google.com/access
Black background window, vice floating folder.
I shared a video to show the problem I'm having.
