I keep seeing here on xda comments regarding the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 10.1v and how they are not the same, but I have yet to locate any info as to why. What is the functional difference between the two?

I would guess the 10.1 v is the verizon version
My bad, for some reason I did not associate the lone word "linky" as a portal to expanded knowledge. Thank you for both of the links. I now know the difference between the two tablets.

Well I loaded SuperNexus 2.0 and no it does not solve the ad-hoc wifi problem. Although, it may be a good platform to look at trying to fix this.
Also Kudos for this ROM, it loaded fine and runs well. Nice job!

It's just an MHL cable, and yes, the S5 works with MHL. I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Try posting in the international S5 section. I don't think many people use things like this here...maybe there's someone in the other S5 section.
I've looked and can't seem to find anything.. I used the mhl cable and I can see it on appradio but no touch support yet..
