thanks for that. I was wondering where they were. I got a message from an iPhone user and it showed as an emoji but I had no idea where they were hiding.

Good find.

Unfortunately they are not real emojies they are just small pictures of smileys. The phone converts to mms when you send them. No big deal really but not as seamless as regular emojies

i was wondering about this..my friend was able to send emojis to me and i would just copy his and send it back or use it later..glad i know where to find them all at now. Thanks alot.

Sent them to a iPhone user and they're just sending as pictures. I wonder if well ever get true emoji integration.

I just changed my messenger app to Handcent and downloaded the emoji plugin. Quite happy with it!
Get a pop-up message notification, and all the same emojis that I had on my iPhone.

well, i found a way around it, since exdialer does recognize your google contacts pictures, you just have to import your facebook pictures to your google contacts, there's a tool for this to use on your desktop.

Try SyncMyPix. If you have Facebook.

LOL really? Tsf shell??! How on earth you got that idea?!? It looks so much like go launcher!
Tsf shell is a good launcher but no way worth the price.
this launcher is so smooth i just hate the icons it comes with and need more options for the grids but its coming along great for a beta
they try to copy tsf shell. are you blind? all the new feature is in tsf. That's all.
that's not a problem for me. It's just funny.

Wow, total weak copy of TSF. The tap and hold options are virtually identicle. Also severely lacking in the options department. The only good thing is free cost at the moment.

Any cool DNA tricks to share?

so does anyone have any cool little DNA tricks that they found out? I just realized that you can pinch to zoom in the battery info graph built into sense now... so you can expand and see each hour or shorten it to get your full day view. pretty neat!

Me neither. Neat feature.
I have to say that I really am enjoying this latest version of Sense. It's a LOT less intrusive than past versions, and doesnt seem to have any major impacts on battery life.
It's like they took out all the crappy nonsense no one liked, allowed android to shine through where its better, and kept only the useful features of Sense. I like it.

For apps with long lists of items like music or messaging, you can scroll through by letter or date by using two fingers at once.
On the call screen before making a call. Press menu and you can open a fullscreen keypad for dialing
I know most probably know this but:
Once you fill up all 5 screens you can attempt to add another app or widget and it will populate a new blank screen for you. Also if you pinch to zoom at one of the home screens, it will give you an option at the top to add a panel (screen).

Re: AOSP messaging app
May wanna put a link to the original developers site or forum post if there is one, so we can give credit to him or thanks. Also may wanna post if this is working with all versions of android or which ones it works on. And also if it's just AOSP or TW and working on both so people don't complain it's not working when it should or shouldn't.

Nope, i just downloaded, installed and away i went. It automatically replaced the stock app which is what i wanted. Send/receive of SMS and MMS is working great for me. no delays no lag no closes. :good:
Is there a reason to move it there if everything works?

Any plans on theming the updated version? And perhaps adding the ability for the next line down enter key for the keyboard?
I also seem to be having trouble with notifications. Through the app. I set my own notification for the app and it works only part of the time. For instance if I lock the phone with the app up it won't notify me of a message. The only way it does is if I close it completely and remove it from my recents list.

Look in the themes and apps section, in there somewhere theres a emjoi keyboard that works really well or flash the aosp mms app in the themes and apps section. That has an emjoi option as well.
