Port question - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Are there any apps that were ported from stock touch wiz that I could run on cm10.2? Specifically I miss the camera app.
Thanks

Samsung apps on aosp roms?

Is there any way to run Samsung apps on aosp roms? I would love to switch to running tasks aokp or cm9/10 but I would miss some of the apps that I currently have. Specifically the note taking app, s-voice (don't hate), and calendar?

Those apps are made to be universal. Should work on any ROM unless otherwise stated by the OP.

You can at least do that with FXP CM9.
Personally I have always this activated.
"settings"->"settings for developers"->"show touches" (or what it is called in English)
umm...just to clarify...i want it on stock gingerbread rom

Haptic Feedback?

Is there any way to enable haptic feedback on the 4.2? Like sometimes when you touch icons or Widgets the vibration that you feel. Thanks

There should be an option to turn it on or off in your sound settings.
Sent from my YP-G1 using xda app-developers app
There is no setting, on GB at least.
Sent from my YP-GI1 using xda app-developers app
It is a checkbox. Like this. Go to settings. Then tap sound then scroll down. I have a 4.0 and it has it. I don't know if the 4.2 has it or not, but I do not think that it would not be there because you are on GB because I am aswell. Now that I think of it, are you using a custom rom? If you are that is probably why you might not be able to find it. Since the developer who made your rom might have taken it out.
Sent from my YP-G1 using xda app-developers app
I'm on a stock rom on the 4.2 and all there is, is lock screen sound and screen selection
Sent from my YP-GI1 using xda app-developers app
Are you on a stock kernel? I am not sure if the kernel has anything to do with it, but it might be possible. Other than that all I can think of is Samsung decided to not include it in the 4.2 for some reason.
Sent from my YP-G1 using xda app-developers app
Yeah, stock kernel. The 4.2 needs more developers

Question/Request: Does anyone have the stock Sense 5 music app

My sense 5 music app stopped working randomly and I need a way to reinstall it. It would be great if I could get it in a flashable zip. Thanks in advance.

Or does anyone have a fix for this. I'm on NOS 3.07 Sense 5 ROM.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
I'd just reflash the rom
