[Q] [GT-S7562] Galaxy S Duos bootloop on the "Samsung" logo - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I tried Wipe data/cache and also tried 3 different country stock rom, it shows "Pass" in odin but still the same!
The blue Samsung logo half loads with sound and reboots, same thing goes on and on, the phone doesn't start!
Note: I have access to stock recovery and download mode, both!
What should I do now? Please guys help..

I flased cwm, but it's not fully loading, it gets stuck.. it only shows cwm version.. and noting else.
I tried all the cwm out there for the device but all same problem.
I also tried some custom kernel, but also no luck there, still reboots on the logo.
And another problem is, when I try to Wipe Data/Cache in the stock recovery, it wipes the data, but gets stuck on wiping cache, then I have to pull out the battery to start again
Update: I can Wipe Data/Cache, but rest are same.

[Q] Endless boot cycle after flashing Litening Rom

Ok so my Galaxy S2 i9100 arrived today!
I began by flashing VillainRom 1.1 and then decided to give Litening Rom a try, fired up odin, selected the rom and hit start. It completed but instead of rebooting the phone has gone into an endless reboot cycle, just showing the boot screen over and over.
I pulled the battery and am reflashing now, it that doesn't work where do I go from here?
Cheers
Edit: Nope, still not booting up properly
You go to the OP of the VillainROM thread and read the words in big red letters.

So if I reflash VillainRom then enter recovery, wipe user data and THEN install Litening Rom it should work?
Or have I permanantly screwed my phone?
Edit: So I reflashed Villain and it booted up fine, I went into recovery as suggested and selected wipe user data. After that finished I held the power button down until the phone turned off, then booted into downlaod mode and flashed litening. Same problem occurred, I tried this two more times but both to no avail.
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers
flash to stock KE7, then boot into recovery, select wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache, boot into download mode, flash lite'ning rom, then then it should work 100%.
oh and btw, as long as you can boot into recovery/download mode, your device isn't bricked.

Sorry to seem like a noob here... but a few quick questions, What does KE stand for exactly and where can I downlaod a stock version from? Cheers
KE means after KD but before KJ ,just as A is before C .
Stock roms dev page .

Worked brilliant, thanks
I had a similar problem, but I solved it by just booting into recovery mode, wiping data(/factory reset) and dalvik cache and then just flashing then ROM through "download" mode.
I did not have to flash any stock ROM prior to that. Just these two simple steps!

Boot loop on odin install

I installed S5830XWKPN_S5830XWKP6_S5830XEUKP1 using ODIN, it all seems to go fine till it reboots and on the next screen whil its installing some CSC files i beleive, it says some error, when it reboots it just loops on the samsung logo.
Is it fixable?
thx

flash a correctly downloaded ROM.....
have u wiped data and cache in recovery after flashing...
when the pass instruction comed .. just unplug and go in recovery mode and do a wipe data and wipe cache...
i do think the error sometimes are there and is of no problem..... if the recovery wipe doesnt work ... redownload the stock rom..

You can try booting into recovery and doing a factory reset and clearing cache, then reboot.
This will often fix a bootloop after flashing with Odin although it's a bit of a concern that you can see error msgs on reboot.
Was this a 1 part file or multi part? I seem to have more success with multi's...
Best of luck.

[Q] Help, bootloop after rom update

Hi everyone, i've got a huge problem with my i9300, i've got the foxhound/[email protected] rom since a week, and everything worked fine, i updated once without problems, however today i did the update with usual procedure, but now i've rebooted and i'm stuck on a bootloop after the apps optimizing part, where Android tries to optimize two apps, then open them, but then boot animation starts again over and over.
I tried going into recovery but it did not do anything, so i i tried flashing CWM via Odin, however now if i try starting in recovery only the samsung boot screen shows up and stays there forever.
Please help me

Go to CWM recovery and do a data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache, reboot and restore your apps.

Go in downloadmode and flash a stock rom with Odin. See item 2 and 3 in my signature
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Is it possible to do so without wipe data ? I've got loads of things in there and my precedent Ti backup does not include them

Stuck at the Samsung boot logo

Hi,
CF rooted today and cheked out supernexus but decided to revert back to my backup (official 4.1). I booted into recovery and did a full wipe, and restored the backup. Upon reboot the boot seems to be stuck at the SAMSUNG logo - it still glows but nothing happens. It's been like this for 10 min. or so!
Would a stock rom Odin flash do the trick or am I screwed...

Hi you are stuck on bootloop
you can flash another firmware to sort this out go to sammobile.com and download a firmware there.. but you have to have an account there so if you don't have one yet, you can register there for free also, after you have downloaded the firmware, use PDA in odin to flash..
i hope this helps cheers!
Thanks guys
Luckily I still had the supernexus rom on my internal sdcard, so I was able to flash that with success. Guess my inital ROM backup was corrupted!
I'm sure the sammobile solution will come in handy next time!

Phone won't boot past Samsung Screen

So I just restarted my phone after doing nothing particular and it just will not boot. It gets to the Samsung screen with the Unlocked Lock that says 'Custom' and it just freezes there. I pulled the battery and boot again, nothing. I booted into recovery and wiped it all and re-flashed the bebloated ROM, still won't boot. Anyone have any other suggestions???

sounds stupid, but try whiping it like 2-3 times in a row and then reboot
Try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2301259 and let us know. I have the very same issue with my phone but ended up giving up and getting verizon to replace it but would really like to know if this works.

Take out the SD card and try a reboot...if that doesn't work.....its odin time.
did you pull the battery for 10 seconds and retry?
same problem
I have the same problem. The only rom I can boot is slim bean.
i have had this happen to me and the only way i was able to fix was to odin back to stock grab this

Hey guys, sorry it took so long for me to get back. After 3 wipes I was able to get everything back to stable and it has not locked up like that again. Thanks for all your suggestions, I may need them again someday haha.
damn
basically have the same problem but i have a stock rooted backup in twrp... (which i have to restore once a day).... every time the phone dies or or battery comes out, there no way of starting without wipe and restore, and even then it doesn't let me boot into twrp until a few tries also once in a while my twrp asks for a password, which ive never put on.. so anyways if theere are any new suggestions id be happy to try them out
