Phone becomes laggy after installing Xposed framework+Modules... - Samsung Galaxy Star

I recently installed Xposed framework on my phone but after enabling d modules my phone has become laggy plus RAM is consumption is more... For example before installing Xposed framework RAM consumption was around 287-300 mb... but after installing Xposed RAM consumption is around 400 mb... So for nw i uninstalled it and phone is fine nw... But i love xposed and its modules.. So can pls any1 tell me hw can i fix d RAM consumption thing... I really want Xposed on my phone...

Logcat or no problem. Xposed module doesnt uses ram. Its just a framework not an app

For less consumption of RAM u can use Greenify & seeder for lagg free usage install these apps
you need to uninstall bloatwares for less RAM consumption & xposed is not take too much RAM However it takes time in booting your android

Launcher keeps restarting ? low in ram?SGS2 rom

hi all i just used SGS2 rom by rushabh and it rocks ..but my go launcher ex keeps restarting when i lauch an app ..even simple ones like tweak ...after exiting i have to wait 15secs for my launcher to reboot which is a pain ...this happens so dam often that i changed back to my lewa...and the ram is always very low ..between 30mb - 50 mb at times even less ..i use ram managing apps like ram manager pro etc but with no luck with lewa my ram is always 90mb-50mb ...any help? i reflashed but still no use ...oh and is there any other good stock rom?
hel please!
Yes low on ram. Don't use ram manager. It's waste. Don't use so many apps like replacing dialer with go dialer. It all consumes ram.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Are u using a2sd ?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
i use link2sd ..but go dialer is really good ..i love it ...go keyboard etc ..but lewa rom handles all of these well
Uncheck that min free option in tweaks. U may wonder, but it's the main culprit.

hey dude, use v6 supercharger script..its damn easy to run it...
its here in xda itself by zepplenirox....jus google v6 superchargr script...its for ALL ROMS.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk
Just try another rom that handled the ram better..
You can also try this tweak from build.prop tweak that you can see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1367082
You have to write this code after the last code's line:
ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1
After this reboot the phone.
On my sangingerace*sl2 this works. But make a nandroid backup first.
it's finally over!! i used ram manager pro and ticked no close launcher and it's fine so far (odd i ticked this option the last time )
thanks for posting the fix its was really annoying issue

[Q][U] The rom with the lowest RAM consumption ?

So far i'v tested most of the roms and the stock ICS is the best with RAM consumption with 120+ free ram.
What do you think is the best ?

pressed thanks by mistake...instead of quoting
m on aosp rom from the day it was released...
u want negatives ( I luv this rom and no offence to developer coz I luv him too for compiling this rom )
1. call rings are absent ( it rings only for first call after restart ) ... some say fixing permissions in cwm fixes it bt it didnt worked for me
2. wifi tether not working
super pros also - no need to restart the phone every second day coz ram management nd battery r superb....
this rom is smooth as hell ... u would start hating stock rom..

Best thing you can do is get Rooted and remove unnecessary apps or Flash a Custom rom with bloatware removed Stock gets laggy after a while and RAM usage is too high too

Most of the ROMS 4.1+ will come with inbuilt OC customization in settngs/developmnt..
Even they r apps : SetCPU is best ( available on playstore)
Overclock upto 1.2-1.3 Ghz is safe ..

If your phone is rooted then go to this thread:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2395931
If not...well then install as less apps as you can, stop using facebook and timeline, uninstall wisepilot, google maps or anything unnecessary.
And overclocking is the last thing I'd suggest...It drains battery like hell and reduces its life. Better thing is to root the phone, go to above stated thread and apply the mod.
Dont forget to increase dalvik vm in build.prop
Hit Thanks if I helped :good:
Remove Bloatware.
Use Seeder app.
Increase min frequency. It can be helpful.Believe me.

How to play games like templerun and subway with out lag..

Hello
Many useres of samsung galaxy star duos has lag problem. Specialy with games. And the reasons for lag are:
1- low Ram
2- poor GPU
3- poor CPU
Those are the main reasons for lag and to solve those issues we need a rooted phone with CWM and that has busybox installed and you have to follow these steps for playing games more smoothly :-
1- install seeder. ( it reduces lag)
2- install nova launcher and make it the Default launcher. (that will give you more Ram memory because touchwiz Consumes alot of ram).
3- A/ uninstall bloatware ((e.g chrome) that will give you more memory and some times more ram if the app was in function) i used system app remover for removing bloatware .
B/ Or u can only freeze them.
4- install pure graphics HD ( that will make your phone smoother and lag less in playing games).
5- be sure that you don't have installed heavy app like facebook and if you have installed these so force stop them before playing games ( that will give you more Ram)
Remember that u have less ram so don't install lots of useless app...
6- close other app while playing game.

I dont know exactly what it actually does in the background but acc to its feactures it turns things off and instead applies some tweaks similar to bravia engine so it doesnt take ram cpu or gpu........
I hope this explained your doubts.
