The Best Custom Rom For Xperia Mini/Mini Pro/lww/Active

The best custom rom for xperia mini, pro, activa , and lww has been kamarush's MINICMSandwich lite AOSP, today he released his v3 kernel and v4 Rom, (thank you kamarush!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705255
however there are a couple of things which we liked about the v3 rom (original aosp lite) and it has been changed/removed on the v4, i humbly request kamarush to took a look at this, im sure there are other ppl who feel the same way too (pleaze!)
minicmsandwich_se_aosp_lite VS update_minicmsandwich_lite_final
advantages in older version (aosp lite)
1)automatically downloaded internet settings for gprs date (v4 doesnt) , so that means for users who dont have wifi, we have to manually configure apn settings (not easy in india) and no file manager included so without data we cant even install applications to try on v4 rom!!!! (if no wifi)
2)live wallpapers excluded (the ics bubbles, and phase beam lwp are hard to find over the internet (in .apk format)
3)rom v3 felt more complete... let me elaborate on this one :
The New "Rom Control" included in v4 ... some of the options dont work properly ... like changing recent apps window to palm os stlyle, or sense style) , dont work , enabling boot screen wont work, (automatically checks "disable" after restart), the option to include auto kill all apps in recent wont work, and also the brightness control in the pull down bar is awkwardly aligned right (with no brightness icon on the left) , and THE whole ROM doesnt feel as lite as the v3. in v3 we could make the pull down bar look super cool , by flashing ics reloaded patches (google it) . // its okay to exclude all the AOKP rom control complications and revert back the previous version ...original aosp lite (was de best)
4)the contacts app in v4 aosp final lite has a ugly white and light blue ui rather than the dark black and ics blue ui like in the initial cmsandwich aosp lite. No options for "only display contacts with phone number" so contacts displays all the crap in ur google contacts...
Disadvantages Of v3
1)auto ration 2)camera 3)gsm data 4)vid recording 5)HD playback in gallary 5) games
A Perfect Custom Rom For These Devices (im a noob, or i would do it myself, so i rely on experts like kamarush for the job)
1)SE application installer , or samsung like file manager pre installed
2)auto gprs settings dowloading
3)stock camera, music app installed
4)may include DSP manager
5)all HW features fully working
6)may not include complicated features like "rom control" (aokp stuff)
7)may include "reloaded ics" status bar patches (only worked wid previous cm sandwich lite)
8)2.0 ghz overclock
9)may include cm7 like simpleness in changing lock screen, battery icon n stuff , also cm7 like settings (i haven't seen cm9 settings yet)
10)sticks closely to stripped down ics stock looks (dark blue and cayan blue lines)
//basically put ...all we want is a clean CM9 for xperia mini/mini pro/lww
kamarush AOSP lite Final :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705255
advantages : latest patches n os, all hw working,
kamarush AOSP lite (v3) previous version :
http://goo.im/devs/kamarush/MiniCMSandwich_Lite
disadvantages: auto rotation, cam, gsm data not working.
advantages : much more lite, n simple, contacts app looks good and has option to display names with phone numbers only,
better looking status bar (supports
reloaded ics status bar patches )

Themes / Mods requested.

Hi all.
I would like some advise to pimp my rom with some mods / theming.
I am using Hawkish rom Based on the latest official firmware XXDMG1
Tweaked stock kernel XXDMG1 Modem DMG1
1. I am looking for something to make my status bar transparent 25 to 50 %
2. I have the app "NVB1" running through Xposed Installer but its not working with stock kernel XXDMG1 & Modem DMG1.
3. I would also like to change the settings menu background and the little menu you get by pressing menu key when looking at the launcher where you can sellect the settings to bring you into the settings menu to transparent 25 to 50 % .
I have seen all this possibility's here but all the thread i found where made in 2012 and hasnt been updated since so i don't wanna try them as last time i had to reflash the rom or restore so i am hoping that someone here knows how to fur-fill my wishes:fingers-crossed:

Let me have a guess...
Android v 4.2.2
Based on Xperia v2 ROM ( from the A919 Tool app icon and the normal nav bar icons in screenshot no. 2, and also the background in screenshot no. 1 where a message is seen saying that " Actually I was bored with Xperia v2 ROM so I made this ROM. " )
Changed Framework apk and systemui apk
Added Samsung Apps like the launcher and calendar, etc.
Updated GmsCore.apk (or Google Play Services to be simple)
Did not edit and/or change the data folder
Followed any MTK porting guide
Did a quick port today ( from the date and time in the screenshots )
Better RAM management -- Tweaked minfree values would be my guess
Did not change the Flashlight app (TinnoLED.apk)
Brighter Flashlight -- Not as easy as he hoped. He would need some redirection of app processing power to the flashlight app to increase its importance, and thereby increase the flashlight brightness. I'm guessing he hasn't done that, so you'd better remove that line.
Did not change the default time zone in build.prop settings (It is set to phillipines time. )
Neat. Good attempt.
Bugs :
Transparent Status Bar
From the screenshots, it is apparent that the Status Bar isn't transparent. You mean that the background of the Notifications panel is transparent. Status Bar transparency refers to the status bar having the colour of the app's upper part. Like in the first screenshot, the status bar (the part with the battery charging info, network signal info, clock, etc.) should have the colour of the app. (like its background should have whatsapp's green colour while running whatsapp)
But, that is more of a misconception than a bug.
Here is a bug which he cannot fix.
3g support on both SIMs.
For that, you need hardware support. It is wrongly mentioned in the Xperia ROM v2 too. I have tried and tested that in almost all other ROMs like MIUI v5, Xperia ROM v2, Stock ROM, etc. and it all comes down to the same thing. YOU NEED HARDWARE SUPPORT FOR 3G IN BOTH SIMS.
A piece of advice : Do not bet that there won't be an bugs at all. Each and every ROM might have a bug that the developer might have overlooked.
Here are some things your friend might have done or should do if he hasn't done yet.
Changing the build.prop setting of ro.product.**** to that of Karbonn's from MyPhone Agua Cyclone ( Xperia ROM v2 was built on that phone's ROM )
Add Material Design Apps from Apkmirror like Gmail 5.0, Maps, etc.
Try porting Kitkat ROMs to Jelly Bean based devices by modifying the installation procedure to include the priv-app folder
Try porting CyanogenMod to this device
Help me in porting Carbon ROM and/or CyanogenMod 12 to this device.
Mention how he got the updater script to work properly and install the ROM perfectly in TWRP and Philz Recovery
Sign the ROM using ZipSigner app and then upload it.
Add more features to it
Here are a few suggestions :
Update the version of SuperSU and then install it.
Make the Xposed Framework built-in. ( Not to be installed manually after installing the ROM )
Pre-install GravityBox or XBlast tools.
Odex the apps folder for better RAM usage
Increase the wifi supplicant scan interval
Throw in some paid apps for free.
Increase the net buffer size
Add the X-Reality engine
ZipAlign all apks.
Add some more fonts ( other than Choco cookie )
Add more sounds for ringtones, audio, etc.
Mention all these to him, and if possible, ask him whether he could help me to develop other ROMs for this device.
BRO thanks for your opinions and thought

See i ported this Material L for unite 2 (a106) for our s5+ it was ported successfully and also booted up i used it for More than 3 days not found any other bug except Camera and flashlight..I changed some of its Lib files With Stock and also changed its gallery to stock and tried many other methods but still the cam bug didnt fixed..Else everything working really good.whenever i opens the cam it says unfortunately camera has stopped else everything works at its best...
Yeah, I just thought I should type out my thoughts about the ROM and then wait and see your reply. Sorry for that, though.
---------- Post added at 11:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:06 PM ----------
You used some MTK porting guide, didn't you ?
Another thing, what do you mean by Material L ? Do you mean to say that you have ported an Android L ROM to this phone ?
I think you have just ported some ROM with just the Material Design UI, as seen in the screenshots (They do not have the Android L Navigation Bar Buttons. )
You could try replacing the permissions in that, as most likely, that would be the root cause of many such errors. A permission file related to the camera settings could be improperly coded, and/or might have a bad file, either corrupt or something like that.
I just needed this tiny favour from you of creating a proper, working update-binary and updater-script inside a META-INF folder which can be used for all my ROMs. If that is over, you'll be seeing those ROMs on XDA quite soon.
Another thing. In the CyanogenMod 12 Lollipop ROM which I am porting, the apps folder has individual folders for each app. So, the flashlight app is in system/app/flashlight/flashlight.apk . Could that be the cause of the ROM not installing properly ? I'm going mad over that as that was the first time I have seen any ROM with apps grouped like that.
Thanks in advance for your contribution.
tnx for posting.. try to port this rom..we r same spec of ur device..

[guide] tweak ur lenovo a6000/+

Hey Guys This is my first thread and here I present u some mods and tweaks that I have tried personally and tested on all the available Roms I will also tell u how to theme Ur phone like android N....
Here we start....
1) Firstly the best sound mod for all Roms Lp Mm is Xtrememusic 7.5.9 I have tested other mods too but they did not have such clarity....
Link.....http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/mod-beatsaudio-e-xloud-installer-t3029951
2) For gamers The mod named Hypercola by pizzadox works very well on our phones just do as said in the thread and notice the difference in Ur gaming...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2404653
3)Now for combination of performance and battery backup first install xposed framework then install greenify donate apk(don't ask for links google it) and enable it in xposed modules and reboot Ur phone. Then open greenify-settings- working mode-boost.then go in xposed settings in greenify and enable doze on the go 2nd option and deep hibernation.
Then add all Ur installed apps including play store and play services...hibernate all of them.
Then install HEBF http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...ebf-tweaking-battery-saver-optimizer-t3401341
Enable only battery saving options in it...and then notice the difference...
4)If u want to change Ur status bar icons like WiFi and stuff install flat style bar indicators apk enable in xposed and change the icons as u like...
5)If u use Roms which don't have option for notification header image like of Cm13 by ed3000 then installl. http://repo.xposed.info/modulenet.madnation.zeus.contextual.xposed
Zeus contextual header in which u can even add Ur photos as headers it is a xposed module....
6)Now after doing all these now to set up Android N-ify apk download the android n-ify apk and install it enable it in xposed and reboot Ur phone and feel the power of our lenovo a6000
Press thanks if it was good.
Credits to the respective developers.
Comment if u face ant problem.

Is there some way to completly change the status bar on MIUI ?

I'm currently on latest xiaomi.eu (7.3.2), and I love MIUI, but I hate it's the notification drawer/status bar. Was wondering if there is any way to change it to something like original android marshmallow or nougat, with xposed, root, no matter how.
there is an app you can change to pixel stock android status bar name is good lock designed by Samsung it's work on j7 but i don't know if work with other phone
Try xposed framework for miui (but u must read how to install it and u must have root and twrp), and u have there modules for it, such as Flat style bar indicators, Xstana
