I am not responsible for borked phones, your howling cats and dogs, or the weather. If you flash this rom, it is AT YOUR OWN RISK.
And be sure to flash Gapps if you want the play store. Also, I am by no means a developer. And these are initial builds, they will more than likely have bugs. Help along the way is always welcome. And don't forget to thank the sources!

I would like to build using a different kernel but am really still learning, so in time I'll get there. I tried chris41g's 4Aces in my test drive and it was pretty smooth.
Which build was it .... The newest... I use it for fast charge ...I don't over clock I under clock.... I know 5/06 build was giving bootloops on certain ROM builds
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Yes. It would have been the newest 05/06 build that I tried. No bootloops when I flashed it.
I also tried this one and did get a bootloop
http://goo.im/devs/flappjaxxx/i717/kernel/3.0.7
I did not try the Alt version though.
I'm going to charge up battery and give everything a go .. I also had a MMS apk that enables theming backgrounds and font colors that I had from rootbox..seems to be working well ... Thamx for the kernel info .. After I charge up I'll flash it

Got everything done ...acid mod ..CPU tweaks..5/6 kernel... Everything oa running smooth

Is there any way to switch off the button backlights???
Battery drains like hell, it feels like the battery's dared me to this..."Save me if you can!"
And this is after I've changed the max CPU frequency to 806MHz and governor to SmartassV2

I've tried it already...but it doesnt work (not for this rom to be particular)!
I've also tried this....Script to turn off button backlights After that when I reboot my phone, It's stuck on Legacy Xperia screen. I had to reinstall the rom
I've increased wifi interval to 210...increasing it any further causes wifi drops.
I'm not using Beanstalk Halo or Beanstalk Pie or Appbar, auto-rotate is off, crt screen animation is off,no high end graphics....Idk what more would it take to reduce the battery drain:silly:
Still its nice to see the first Android 4.3 rom for Neo V...I'll wait for further developments to make battery backup better

FYI this is the second 4.3 ROM for neo v. The battery drain is similar to what we face with cm 10.1. I personally felt that this ROM is a little heavy for our devices with so many features. The free ram is pretty less. Hoping for improvements.
Edit : Did nothing special after installing the rom. Just a few(2-3) apps. I rebooted my device. Got stuck on legacy Xperia screen. Tried removing battery and rebooting. Still same result. Reverted back to my old rom.

Do not expect good battery from 4.3 for now.. Its in the pre-alpha to alpha stage!.. it will go better with further releases and improvement.. encourage devs and help them to get better.. Nice to see many new guys coming here.. Nice work
I had same battery issue but i flashed "Performance & Battery TWEAK!!!" by WaterMelon90. now its good.

I agree the rom is little heavy for our devices...didnt either expect for battery to be good...
And thanks for pointing out the performance tweaks karthicvkn. I'd also mention the Deep Sleep app here for guys like me...It really helped..alot
And shubh_007...I thought I got stuck at Legacy Xperia screen because I ran that script to turn off button light..but it sure is a bug..
Have been using this ROM for the past two days and it is very stable and there are no any reboots so far......great work
But the only problem is it is consuming too much of RAM...Any solution?
Great work, no reboots, stable, and a candidate for daily use.
Can't mount my ext2 partition using Link2SD, anyone knows how I can fix it?

I've heard people say this ROM has no rotation glitch. Is this true?
Also, what is the customisation, battery life and general speed like?
Last question, will this ROM be receiving updates in the future? I'm currently using ResurrectionRemix but I'm tempted to make the switch

Gaming/multitasking is good too.

Dirty Unicorns (DU) is a custom ROM originally based off AOKP, but now based from OmniROM. DU brings you a great mix of stability and customization. The idea to start a ROM like this was purely out of boredom, but later turned into a form of an addiction, a good one. We began to have fun while still doing things the right way. By doing so, we received high praise from not only our users but by fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. This ROM will always be free of charge without any strings attached or any of it's developers luring you into donating or any form of "pay to flash".
"Give credit and thanks where is due!" That's something that has fuel the way we do things! With that said, we would like to go ahead and credit those individuals and groups that have made this ROM possible with their original code and contributions to the Android community.....
| OmniROM | AOKP | ChaOS | Paranoidandroid | SlimROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Believe it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

If you want SMS function, try to edit the framework-res.apk or use an Xposed Framework Module to enable.
Flashing that stuff should make it for you.
I think SMS will be enabled in the next build.

Probably the most stupid question ever, but...
Does that Rom also run on the Flo version?
Since I run DU on the Hammerhead, and I kind of like the same Roms on my devices, I really want to run DU on my non 3G Nexus 7 ...
