If it says GT-I9300 then it's the international model.
Check in download mode. If it says PRODUCT NAME - GT-I9300 then you have int.

I notice there are several forums for the G S3.
I bought mine from T mobile, but it seems to be unbranded, and its definately unlocked.
Which forum do i need to be in?
Im looking for a JB based rom, but the roms seem to be different in the normal g3 forum and the t mobile g3 forum.

If you bought in the us it a t-mo s3.if you bought it in uk its the international version.

I don't actually live in the UK though.
I'm in Switzerland.
So mine is the normal international S3?

Yeah man you're ok this is right forum.go to chainfire's cfroot thread download and flash through odin.then flash any rom you wish

Normally you can see all that in Settings > About Device.
For further viewing download an app from the Play Store.

Have an samsung s3 from orange and want to use it on 02. It is brand new, and is updated to version 4.1.2
Could someone be so kind as to point me in the direction of the best way to approach this..unlock or root etc?
As i say, all iwant is to be able to use the phone on 02 as it is prelocked.

It seems to be a proven way to unlock although I have never used it.

I'm guessing india due to Aircel in the screenshot and the bands in the phone, some of those TD-LTE bands are used in china, parts of asia and some countries in europe.
Never seen that model number before, would have to research it

That is the china model... why did you get that? If you live in india, you should've got the L22 ver

I found a Galaxy tab A7 lite WIFI+LTE version in Amazon US,that it is sold as International GSM unlocked version,and because i am living in Europe,i want to know if i can use it without issues,and of course if i can use its LTE bands.
Probably this has installed another ROM,mainly for US i suppose.

Yes just download a frimware from samfrew which has a country code of your choice and flash it with Odin...and you're done! Make sure to match up the model numbers
