Great Mod, thank you, working like a charm on ARHD 31.

Great mod, can the area on the right (for pulling down the notification panel) be adjustable? So it can made narrower or wider by user?

works perfectly on my Galaxy S4-I9505 with Android 4.3. Thanks for the excellent work

Thanks mate

I've looking for a mod like this......... If it had an option to center the clock, I would've downloaded it right away

works on xperia z (stock rom) (at least the stock pull down with toggles)
- anyway tested on pattern lock, but the rest should work fine..
but will conflict with either gravitybox or xblast.. the transparency level of the notification panel will be changed.

thanks bro for testing...so far didnt have any conflict with the transparency of the panel..

Excuse me, but what APM means? The option (drop down notification panel from right to see toggle page doesn't work for me! But the main purpose (see the notification bar within lock screen) works flawlessly.

Isnt that like the Advanced Power Menu? You know like reboot to recovery ?
btw @vrthe1 it does not work for me on the LG G2 instead it makes the part of the notifcation bar "numb" = doesn't react on pulldown.

I was going to request for this king of module ^^
Thanks it awesome, only "bug" is that the navkey are visible instead of "hidden"

Working on HTC One Mini apart from the apm, but that's not an issue for me...
Great work!

Huh, well, there is a battery icon in your status bar, isn't there? I think holding it might or should trigger the APM menu.

If that's true, then this feature isn't working, either.

APM means Advanced Power Menu (the menu which pops up when holding down the power button)
@siavash2death what happens when you hold the power button.. similarly holding battery icon should have the same effect. if still not working.. please update me.
I guess, I know why the right side pulldown not working..I will fix in the next release
@PAGOT which part.. is it holding the battery icon or pull down from right acts numb?
@SerkSerk so u saying, when notification is pulldown. navbar goes hidden? can u provide me SystemUI.apk
@jorv976 Quicksettings was started from version 4.2. If it is notification for lockscreen.. I will do that

First off, I am not responsible for the creation of this rom, I have only built it for the jewel, please give thanks to the original creator bajee11, original thread here
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

This is an initial release, much much more to come. I will be implementing all LOTK tweaks and mods and framework tweaks, as well as some optimizations I have been learning/working to accomplish. I am also putting in a pull request to the Root-Box git to add all .mk and config files so you can build this too.

Awesome to see you working on this. Since last night I've been running root-box from another dev. But just noticed trying to use any music app completely locks up device. Requiring battery pull (simulation).
Have you tested this build?
Also, I just noticed I can't find a place to change DPI in any of the settings. Am I just missing it, have you seen it?
Usually it's in ROM control>general UI and scroll all the way to bottom.

Not sure on the hard keys, have you tried enabling custom actions in hardware key setting in rootbox settings, then setting them to no action? As for the number of home screens, I dont believe there is a setting for it. Try a third party launcher.

I've made a zip of the chameleonOS boot.img to use the TWRP recovery. so idk if that affects the recovery or not.

i definitely will check that out, but there's nothing like decompiling the SystemUI and framework-res and adding your own touches
Did a clean install all my issues are gone. I have no problems so far it is very smooth and clean. I have to do a new build to get rid of inject twrp and download mode. If you haven't noticed I have twrp default install location to be the SD card. I got tired of navigating to it.

The navbar color works but there's no change with the statusbar (Nexus 5 4.4.2).
I have attached a logcat when applying the white color for the statusbar.

UI Changes
v2.1
- Xperia Z2 Battery Icon mod is done!. 3 Icons (normal, charging, low). Its 2in1. I put text inside drawable and colored mod if level < 15! (from white to red)
- KitKat Gradient_Statusbar mod is done! . Thanx & credits go to @kk9999gada
Note: Its ready for Gin2Rom. If you are on stock, just click my signature for
GB SPECIAL! BatteryText% with JB Battery!! signal-%-battery! and do first 2 steps only!
(framework-res.apk modding)
------
v2.0
- dcsms layout is gone, re-wrote tabs with Eclipse and now all ok after reboot. (All appears)
- Two SystemUI apks, for stock and Gin2Roms..
------
v1.1
- Fullscreen added!
------
v1.0
- Used @dcsms 's two layouts smali code and two buttons. Yes, you know tab_layout is not working like real tabs so thats why two buttons are shining..
- As you know, quickpanel background has bugs because of ghost layout. ( I mean CloseDragHandle was animating until the end of notifications.
I thought and found a temporary but good solution for it so its ok for now.
- 15 quick toggle, I re-sized rows for 4-4-4-3 and added brightness slider too.
- Clock is am/pm included.
- Background is %40 dark like 4.4
- CarrierLabel is at bottom like Z2.
- Don't care my statusbar. Its just stock. No changes on top. BatteryText visibility is gone. You can activate it from status_bar.xml or maybe you use my signal-battery%text-batteryIcon mod. Its up to you.
- Bla bla..

Mod is going on, Im working on fixing bugs..
Gin2Kitkat uses my GB SPECIAL! BatteryText% with JB Battery!! signal-%-battery! mod.
Thats why your battery icons visibility are gone.
Wait new version. I will add 2nd apk for Gin2KK users when I fix.

I'm using it right now and I have to say: I like the small icons. It's great man, you rock on this SystemUI.
Question: there's a different battery icon? Because when I rebooted the smartphone, a landscape battery icon flashed before the icon from my img showed up.

SK17i? I had not got an idea that it will fit into yours. where are last 3 icons of toggles? Ara you able to use them too ?
If you use it with Gin2Rom, when reboot, at first stock battery icon appers but gets invisible in a few seconds. Thats normal.

Yeah, it fits. On Gin2 ROM for Mini Pro, all HDPI stuffs are resized to MDPI (I don't know how it works but it works).
Yes, I'm able to use the last 3 icons (just like IMG, right?)
About the battery icon, I thought it was part of your Status Bar, thanks for explanation.
I'm still wishing a transparent status bar, I've tried but failed to get the same effect from Z2.

Its good that icons fit. for a transparent statusbar, it may need smali editing. I dont know the effect of Z2. Maybe I check it later.
Now Im working on putting z2 battery icon and percentage inside it. That will be a great new mod too
